“Essentially a hostel with extra steps but this place is ideal for a cheap tidy and clean room to sleep in for the night in the centre of Manchester. The manager was helpful and courteous and the check-in/out process easier than ever. There is perhaps a lack of security and a few strange features such as no sink in the toilet but in the shower room.”

“I had infills and shellac gel polish done on my nails. It was an absolutely rushed job by the man as it was late and I was the last customer of the day. The shellac hasn’t even set smoothly on to my nails and looks awfully thick, scratched and lumpy. Not happy at all! My eyesight is very poor so I trusted his work and I didn’t notice how bad it really was until I woke up the following morning and saw my nails in the natural light. Pedicure on the other hand was done by a lady who did an amazing job. I love how my feet have turned out. I contacted the salon who were terribly sorry for my experience and asked me to go back. I did and they redid my nails as a gesture of good will and the transformation was incredible. I’m much more happier with my nails and they look absolutely beautiful. “This restaurant is located in the Dalmahoy hotel Country Club upstairs with a bar. This is a little more casual than the other restaurant The Pentland Restaurant.”

“Renovated for 2025! Open again for a month now, the changing area is completely modernized into clean, well-situated changing rooms, suitable for singles, couples, or families. The staff was friendly, and the pool was clean and well-organized with swimming lanes for various speeds/ abilities. There was also a swimming lesson going on for youngsters. A great experience for visiting Canadians!”

“I have been with this doctors for some years now, myself and my children. The wait on the telephone to get through to surgery has been my only issue in the past but staff are all lovely, receptionists are so friendly, Dr Singh is brilliant with my children, midwife and the pharmacist are very understanding & since my recent visit phone times have improved massively. Thank you to all the staff at this surgery. Highly recommended.”

“I stayed here with a group and we were all a little worried because of the other reviews. We were subsequently pleasantly surprised at the fact that the hotel was actually lovely. It may not be the most modern place I've ever stayed but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are relatively spacious and the facilities are great. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.”

“My wife booked this place and looking at the reviews, I was a bit dubious about staying there. We ended up having a great stay. Ok the hotel is a little dated but the room was clean and quiet. The receptionist was lovely and I thank her very much for her help. Easy access via the number 59 bus into and out of the city centre. Had dinner the first night in the adjacent pub and spoke to a lovely couple that said it has recently been taken over and things are a improving.. had a great stay and would recommend. Thanks.”

“Came here for the first time on Friday and it was such a pleasant experience. I came a few minutes late and was told I might not be able have my brows waxed and tinted but they can do my lash lift and tint which I was fine with but they managed to do both for me! The results are amazing. My brows came out so much better than I had ever expected and I’m so happy with the results of everything. The location is so beautiful and such a relaxing and nice experience. I will be coming back for more treatments!”

“I go every few months to have treatments at this salon. I have spa pedicure, facials and full body massage. They are very good at all those. I have been using them for over 12 years as before they were in smaller premises. I am very pleased with the eyebrow threading and find the staff very accommodating to my needs. I was pleased to get my appointment and even though last minute they had spa room prepared , warm and inviting. They gave adequate time for me to change and get dressed afterwards. I really have a good experience every time I visit Elegance.”
