“Lovely little shop on a main road. Very welcoming people, very pleasant, polite and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicious, and hot in temperature when served. Portion size was excellent. The food itself was delicious. Definitely going back.”

“I often call in for a brunch and a cup of tea on a Saturday and really love the atmosphere and feel of the place- it’s so cosy and cute. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I knew they did afternoon tea and ordered some to take away for a baby shower. It was amazing! You had so much food for the price and it all tasted absolutely fantastic. Everyone at the shower said the same. Will be booking afternoon tea again for sure!”

“Had afternoon tea for 5 people today. A mixture of normal afternoon teas, savoury teas and one gluten free tea. All were delicious with lovely sandwiches and cakes freshly made by Kirsty one of the owners. And starting at £18 for the normal afternoon tea it was excellent value. A lot of effort went into making the gluten free tea and this one didn't disappoint as they have done at other venues. The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. We will definately be going back for another afternoon tea and to sample other meals on the menu. I would definately recommend this quirky and comfortable little cafe to anyone.”

“The restaurant has a cozy inviting atmosphere, which makes you feel right at home. I booked the Olive Grove for 47 guests for my daughters 40th birthday. I cannot praise the service enough. The team worked exceptionally hard to give us all a wonderful evening. The meals we're chosen from the festive menu (which we pre ordered) and we're super delicious. Nothing was to much for Salem, Jane and the whole team. I highly recommend a visit here.”

“Had to write a review after a pretty much perfect dinner. The food at the French Pantry was sublime – probably the best venison I've ever eaten and the desserts were next-level. A small and unassuming interior with a warm and relaxed atmosphere, hosted by a very charming server who made us feel very at home. Such a great spot for an evening meal if you're staying in town – I wish we lived closer and could return sooner, but we've recommended it to all our nearby friends!”
