“Had afternoon tea for 5 people today. A mixture of normal afternoon teas, savoury teas and one gluten free tea. All were delicious with lovely sandwiches and cakes freshly made by Kirsty one of the owners. And starting at £18 for the normal afternoon tea it was excellent value. A lot of effort went into making the gluten free tea and this one didn't disappoint as they have done at other venues. The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. We will definately be going back for another afternoon tea and to sample other meals on the menu. I would definately recommend this quirky and comfortable little cafe to anyone.”

“Lovely little tearoom. The staff are always extremely pleasant. Have only had soft drinks, and ice cream with my grandson as yet, but on our next visit we're having a meal. It's great to have such a nice place to eat when you've been walking for a while.”

“Came in to Reece’s cafe 4/10/25 with my daughter for a breakfast and a cheeky pistachio hot chocolate and vanilla latte the food was cooked well, presented well and tasted wonderful just what we needed on this cold day the staff were super helpful and food was served with a smile. Thank you guys we will be back!”

“Have been here a few times for a decent sandwich at lunch time. Got a fresh counter to pick from, bread pudding, sausage rolls, cooked breakfasts, samosas, chilled soft drinks it’s got everything you need. The staff are beyond lovely here, all local and really make you feel like you’re popping to see a member of the family, it’s really nice. Place gets pretty busy fast and then goes quiet again, very unpredictable but worth the wait. On street parking is a nightmare at times, busy bit of road so be mindful of that.”

“Lovely little restaurant just out of the heart of the City so it's centrally located but not in a busy area. Lovely ambience, cosy, comfortable. Good staff, friendly, helpful, great service. Small but varied menu has something for everyone. The simple 2 course or 3 course menu option is excellent value for money. The food is excellent - portion sizes are just right to be able to enjoy all the courses and some nice touches like an accompanying sherry are well thought out. After 5 years in the Lichfield/Tamworth area it's the best restaurant we've found.”

I've probably had every meat dish on there menu and a few not on there menu everything is superb ! Have your meal the way you want it just say how you want it ! It is easily the best take-out food we've ever had and the service is amazing, they didn't have enough Vegetable Spring Rolls to fill a bag and offered to make some Meat ones - told her I was a vegetarian and instead she whipped up some Tempura and threw in some extras as well! I visited here as a direct recommendation someone who had posted on line called Karen Jones who shared details about the friendliness of the venue, and that alone was enough to draw me in, but then i tried the food and was blown away. Doing the basics, really well is what it’s all about for me, with the use of High Quality, delicious ingredients. Such a great Vibe, with people and pets, children and adults being welcome. It’s great to see a venue function so well, with a great inviting atmosphere, non pretentious. So many venues these days make too many adjustments for the random occasional immunocompromised that places lose what it is to be a venue of great food, great company and great memories. I’ve found my new favorite place”
