“Had the Brunch Bagel for brunch on Wednesday 10th April, and can honestly say it tasted better than anything I have eaten for a very long time. Fantastic service as always, and a bunch of people just relaxing and having a good laugh...made my day.”
“Staff were exceptionally patient, knowledgeable and eager to help. A winning combination that more companies should strive for in their customer relations!”
“Graham is excellent- so knowledgable and helpful and generous with his time and advice. His costs are very reasonable and while I used him for a repair he has great in depth knowledge and passion for e-bikes which he can supply or convert existing bikes. Great service which I highly recommend. Ron Milltimber”
“I went in to get some Engine Coolant. Craig was really helpful, went and checked under the bonnet then got coolant and once I paid he came back out and topped up for me! So helpful and super quick. Thanks for all your help Craig! You are a ⭐”
“Not been past Alpine Bikes in Years, but had a failure on my Disk Brakes at the weekend. The gentleman running the service shop in Aberdeen could not be more helpful even though I dropped in unannounced. Very impressed with the Customer Service from him. Refreshing change to the norm these days”
“Live chat with an actual person (David) in store giving good advice and arranging to come and see the treadmills they have. Callum in the store was helpful and gave plenty of time to answer our questions without pressure. So good to be able to go in and see the machines and not have to risk purchasing straight from the internet. Looking forward to receiving the treadmill in the near future. Would highly recommend on our experience so far. Thanks”
“Enjoyed my visit to total endurance Kevin explained the treadmill test very well helped to put me at ease. Overall my experience was very good and would thoroughly recommend.”
“Excellent campsite, really friendly hosts, grounds and facilities kept in great condition- would recommend”
“Stopped off for an early breakfast on a very wet morning last week. Food and coffee were great, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and attentive. Their menu seems very extensive. Will pop in again when I'm next in Banchory in December. Thank you.”
“I had been looking at a product for about 3 weeks and my local store, Inverness, didn't have it in stock, but Inverurie ( near Aberdeen and about 90 miles away) did and a few stores in England had it as well. As I was travelling to Inverurie on another matter I tried to relocate my product on the halfords website but could not find it. Anywhere. Decided to go into the Inverurie store on 13 oct 2025 and ask, and once inside a female assistant at the desk listened to my sob story and located my product in under 30 seconds. I was really impressed and would like to say thank you so much to the lady with glasses for her expertise. Nice one Halfords another satisfied customer.”
“What a lovely place, a lovely bunch of guys running it and a terrific service to the community. This is the kind of initiatives that make the world a better place. Hats off to to you!”

“Forgot to take our pram to Aberdeen. Click and collect order, pram was ready in minutes and the assembled it for us. Great range of toys, our 2 year old loved it. Great service and very happy with products.”
“I had to change my bike tyres and inner tubes which resulted in 4 hours of frustration at home. That lead to me desperately calling Evans who told me to pop right away so they could have a crack at it. 5minutes later i was at the store. The two guys, whos names i stupidly never asked, were excellent. One of them fitted the tyres in 15minutes despite saying they were the most difficult tyres that he has fitted. Over all they were both extremely helpful, friendly and not only that, saved me heaps of time. I couldn't speak more highly of them both. Great job! (P.s. probably buy different tyres!)”
“I bought my first ‘real’ bike here last year through the cycle to work scheme. I’ve had several troubles with my bike since then, due to the cables the manufacturer provides. I am pretty clueless when it comes to bike repairs and a total newbie, each time the team have been really nice in dealing with my issue and taking in my bike for repair on short notice, as I have been training for an ultra triathlon over this past year (which meant I put in a lot of miles). We couldn’t initially figure out what the problem was, but Specialised provide a cable that is very slippery and loosens very easily, almost on every other ride, so it was a nightmare on long cycles trying to understand what happened when your bike had just been in for a check up. When the Edinburgh Cycle team replaced my cables, the issue went away completely and hasn’t come back since. There were a couple staff in who no longer work there who didn’t make me feel welcome at all, and made me feel guilty and almost blamed me for the issues I was experiencing, spoke in a condescending way, but they no longer work there for which I am grateful. I would like to say my special thanks to the manager Scott, because he’s an all around really great guy! Each time I had an issue he tried to explain the mechanics, never made me feel silly and is just generally a really nice person to talk to, who also helped me resolve my problems. The other remaining staff who all seem younger are also very nice, experienced and helpful. It’s easy nowadays to get a bike online from somewhere and put it together yourself, but you only really save a few pounds in the long run. Places like this are a testament to how valuable customer service and experience are in retail, which is what keeps small shops alive. Scott even managed to find some branded Specialised screws for my paneer attachments that were broken, because I was disappointed they didn’t provide any original replacements. This might be a small thing to some but it was such a nice gesture. I would definitely recommend this place to others as they really go above and beyond.”
“my favourite shop i’ve ever been to, all the staff are very friendly and attentive, only shame they don’t have plastic bags”
