She kept me updated by email which really made all the difference. It’s clear she cares so much about the garden centre, the plants and the people who shop here. Such a lovely experience - I’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“I like that the fish is cooked in front of you. Chips are superb. Very friendly staff. I go out of the way and drive 5 miles to by from there. Highly recommended. Addendum: its the cleanest fish bar this side of the black stump! Still great dish suppers.”

“An unassuming place, which I like, a bit of a pub style. That being said, excellent cocktails and food. Some of the best I've had in Aberdeen. Good deals as well, like their midweek Margarita club at £7. And their Sunday roast, 2 + a bottle of red for £45, is a solid value. The staff is helpful with suggestions and lovely. Visiting from Texas, the Scottish mussels were great as well as the lentil soup and the garlic mushroom creme fresh on sourdough. Only caveat is that the kitchen closes at 9pm. But that's pretty normal for the area. Also, great music and atmosphere. Most people that came in were chatty and enjoying their time.”

“WOW!!!! What a place. Best karaoke night I've had in ages. Best staff, Wendy and Kennedy treated us like royalty. Definitely would recommend for a night out and a quick pint. Jim is the best karaoke host, such a laugh and a flirt! You have to take a visit if you haven't before; the atmosphere and community are out of this world.”

Throughout the time I was waiting for my footlongs to get ready, he talked with my 8 year old daughter about the food, how he make sandwiches and many other things and my daughter and of course myself enjoyed the talk. The footlongs are delicious and I recommend it to everyone visiting this branch.”

“I popped into these guys in the off chance they would have a spare cabinet hinge , I got the boss and he went out of his way to find a hinge to match my broken one , spent a good 15 minutes raking through boxes of spares and after getting a matching pair he wouldn’t take anything for them , a pity there weren’t more people like him . So if that’s the service a stranger dropping in past gets , I would imagine these people are a breath of fresh air when they do your project .”

“Came in just myself and enjoyed my time. The place was clean and the staff were always making sure to clear/reset tables quickly. Staff were friendly and joked with the guests. I had a hot chocolate and a traybake and it’s clear they are made freshly. I would recommend this place to anyone who was visiting both Aberdeen and the beachfront”

“I was so well looked after by the whole team at Woodend Hospital. From the surgeon, the theatre team to the nursing staff and doctors, physio, occupational therapy, and the domestic team, they were all fantastic. The only downside was the gluten-free food. Only one choice for your meals. So it's advisable to take gluten-free food with you as a backup. I did get a Deliveroo order delivered to the ward, which was awesome.”
