Anyway, always time to give a cracking review to one of the best cafes in town, with a wonderful manager, homemade high quality food and extremely high quality coffee.”

“Beautiful fresh scones, pancakes and cakes. Chose scone to go with coffee and scone was still warm from the oven while coffee was piping hot. Staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. Very reasonable prices I thought. Definitely going back.”

“Great Dog-Friendly (obviously!) cafe on the riverside. We pop in regularly when we're in Ellon, and it's often quite busy, but always has space. Hot food, sweet treats, coffee and other hot drinks, everything is good.”

“Beautiful, well-kept gardens. Lovely peaceful surroundings. The old farm museum exhibits are fascinating. There's a cafe on site for drinks and food. There's on site car parking that's pay and display. Entry is £10pp or £8 for seniors. We'll worth a visit if you're in the area.”

“I really love the concept of this place – it’s simply brilliant. There’s plenty of space with cozy seating areas and tables, and the breakfast is great. The baked goods are delicious, and I especially appreciate the wide selection of organic products you can also take home. “Was in today for lunch prior to the Aberdeen Vs Celtic game. The young lady that was on by herself is a credit to your business. A big queue for food/drinks and she remained calm and delivered brilliant service given the circumstances of running a busy cafe alone. To management/owners, the cafe is always busy when there’s football on at Pittodrie, have more than one staff member on in future and don’t exploit exceptional workers.”

“So good! We ordered the caramel apple, strawberry and Nutella and the chocolate fudge brownie waffle. It’s not sickly sweet, the waffles are soft and good portion. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My go-to for desserts.”

The decor and interior design is tasteful and relaxing; service is friendly and efficient; and the food is excellent. The soup of the day was a spiced pumpkin and carrot soup, which was perfectly seasoned and paired well with a basket of freshly-baked breads. Both the Swedish meatballs and cauliflower mains were delicious. Desserts rounded off the meal nicely.”

After multiple experiences at this establishment I must say I am very pleased with the quality of food, drinks and especially the wonderful staff who are very friendly. “First time visit and can't wait to return. Food was so delicious. Portion sizes were very good to almost too much. Very filling but so tasty. Very fresh tasting and drinks were excellent as well. Atmosphere was very clean, friendly and welcoming. I totally recommend this place for a brunch or coffee and cake or ice cream. It wasn't cheap but average for prices these days and the quality of everything was excellent.”

“Wee gem of a place. I like that's it's a cafe and bar/restaurant combined, the decor fits both styles very well. Really well decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Exceptionally friendly staff! We had a caramel latte with almond milk & a chai with almond milk, plus a slice of carrot cake & a nutella croissant. The cakes were absolutely delicious and a big mug for the drinks which was great! Really well priced as well. Will be back to try their cocktails and dinner menu sometime. Would highly recommend!”

I also got 2 home bakes, which were delicious. For 2 slices and a coffee, it came to around £6, which I thought was reasonable. “We visited yesterday for the first time and it’s safe to say we will definitely be back . I have 5 children age range 4months to 10 years and can honestly say there is something for everyone including us adults. Big hits were the mini land rovers, feeding the animals, the soft play, mini golf and much more. We stayed from open to close and not once did i hear complaints of boredom from any of the kids. We were lucky enough to catch good weather but im positive even on a rainy day with wellies and puddlesuits the same fun would be had. The staff were lovely and nothing was a trouble, food was 10 of 10! We had a fab day! See yous again soon :)”
