These baos are very authentic, being from Singapore myself it’s almost impossible to find any truly authentic Asian food. Excellent food with attentive service and helpful, friendly staff! “The meal was better than I expected, to be honest. Especially given the reasonable pricing. The seafood chowder was served piping hot and was thick and fresh tasting. The brisket rigatoni was delicious. Plenty of beef in the dish and the sauce was slightly sweet. Didn't have a dessert because the servings were enough. Would return.”

“The food was really great, we had the monkfish, steak and lamb. As well as some delicious starters and desserts! The staff made sure we were well looked after even though there were a few really large groups! We thought we had booked into SHU but were seated in the downstairs area "Juls". It had a slightly different atmosphere with music with quite a loud bass. Not sure if the music was turned down or we got used to it but wasn't noticeable after a while!”

“The food is fantastic, the dine in setup is ridiculous however, the queue time from the door to the counter is about 45 minutes due to the counter staff having to do online orders inbetween serving the customers in the store, they should do this separately. Even when ordering online the order is never correct which puts me off doing this also, still giving it 5* regardless due to how great the food is, I really hope they sort these issues out and bring back the good days. If I see a queue at the door the next time I go near the place, im just going to go somewhere else”

“Probably the best prawns I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked in a lovely batter with a delicious satay sauce and a perfectly charred lettuce. Would go again just for this. Dessert was also spectacular. A warm chocolate muffin with chocolate sauce inside served alongside a coconut ice cream. Delicious. Atmosphere and waiting staff all on point. Didn't have to wait long for the food or the bill. Top marks.”

“Honestly, one of the best servings of sushi that I've had since Japan. Very fresh and clean tasting, with a huge variety of traditional fish. Only deducted a star for atmosphere because we were in for an early lunch on Sunday and no one else was there. This place is a gem, and we will be back”

“Come over from Liverpool, and what a place. Walked in about 1245 Wednesday afternoon, and the atmosphere was busy. I was expecting to wait but had the option to go upstairs with a view. Food was mouth watering, flavours didn't disappoint. Waiter could improve but felt sorry as felt lost an confused with a drinks order to the wrong table, bless her. The owner was top notch, good crack, a friendly approach. Did mention a top recommended burger was there signature dish. So sure enough of our last day in Belfast we made sure to visit. I myself got the combo burger that came with the chicken wings and everything was do precisely, really enjoyed this, closing the chapter of our holiday on a good note.”

“Stopped by for lunch with my two daughters (3 and 6) after some swimming. It was a Saturday around 2 PM, and the bar was quiet; we were actually the only ones in the restaurant. Initially, we worried we'd made a mistake. Thankfully, we hadn't! The staff were incredibly friendly and brilliant with my girls, and the food (chicken wings & cod and chips) was fantastic. However they prepared their wings, they were delicious—and I do love a good wing! The cod was beautiful, the tartar sauce was fresh, and the chips were perfectly fluffy and crispy. Overall, the experience truly lived up to the glowing reviews we'd read before going. They make their own Gin, beers, and whisky; I only tried the beer, but their inviting bar and outside area looked fantastic, so I'll definitely find an excuse to come back and try the rest. All in all, I'd highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. My only downside is that it's on the other side of Belfast from where I live! I hope to be back again soon.”

“I’ve been looking for a waffle place in Belfast and just recently discovered Cafe Mauds. Their waffle is by far the best I have tried in belfast. My favourite in their menu is the banana and toffee waffle. The banana balances out the sweetness of the toffee and I think they are a perfect combination. Definitely recommending place to those looking for a good dessert place.”

“A group of 12 had a Christmas feed here. Service was great and the food was so good. We all got the sharing platter which was sensational. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The ribs and chicken wings are fantastic. Great value for the amount of food you get. All washed down with beers and cocktails. You have to try the platter!!!”

“Popped in yesterday on a Saturday morning with Carol my wife for brunch. We were not disappointed. I had Pig Pancakes and Carol had Apple Crumble , both were amazing , the black pudding scotch egg was the best scotch egg I've had in a long time. It was a complete surprise for her and the staff helped achieve the illusion and making her feel special. We can’t thank the staff enough for all their efforts in helping make the day run smoothly, help with decorating and in making sure all our guests were welcomed. Everyone agreed that the food was amazing, the service was excellent and the whole day was truly amazing.”
