“The food was really great, we had the monkfish, steak and lamb. As well as some delicious starters and desserts! The staff made sure we were well looked after even though there were a few really large groups! We thought we had booked into SHU but were seated in the downstairs area "Juls". It had a slightly different atmosphere with music with quite a loud bass. Not sure if the music was turned down or we got used to it but wasn't noticeable after a while!”

“The food is fantastic, the dine in setup is ridiculous however, the queue time from the door to the counter is about 45 minutes due to the counter staff having to do online orders inbetween serving the customers in the store, they should do this separately. Even when ordering online the order is never correct which puts me off doing this also, still giving it 5* regardless due to how great the food is, I really hope they sort these issues out and bring back the good days. If I see a queue at the door the next time I go near the place, im just going to go somewhere else”

“A group of 12 had a Christmas feed here. Service was great and the food was so good. We all got the sharing platter which was sensational. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. “Went here for the Sunday sharing roast board and it was delicious. We went for the rump board and the lamb board. I personally wouldn’t choose lamb but this one definitely trumped the rump. Between us we had the mushroom starter it was full of flavour, the chicken wings had loads of meat and the vegetable tarts which initially wouldn’t have been something I would have went for it was super tasty. Every waiter and waitress were very attentive, friendly and provided five star service, fantastic service.”

“We had 3 small plates and then a plate of tacos each and it really filled us up. Absolutely stunning menu options I had a seared pork dish and beef cheek tacos. The selection of cocktails are absolutely amazing too. I had one called "Sweet to the beet" and a coconut margarita, absolutely delicious! “Excellent gluten free experience. Informed staff started with what I'd picked from the menu and worked though what could be modified or other items on the menu that could be a better option. Ended up going with a GF version of the Houston burger. The GF sesame bun was toasted and was excellent compared to many gf breads. Similarly, the shoestring onions were made gf and had a great taste and crunch.”

“Popped in yesterday on a Saturday morning with Carol my wife for brunch. We were not disappointed. I had Pig Pancakes and Carol had Apple Crumble , both were amazing , the black pudding scotch egg was the best scotch egg I've had in a long time. “The meal was better than I expected, to be honest. Especially given the reasonable pricing. The seafood chowder was served piping hot and was thick and fresh tasting. The brisket rigatoni was delicious. Plenty of beef in the dish and the sauce was slightly sweet. Didn't have a dessert because the servings were enough. Would return.”
