“We booked a table for a birthday celebration and we had constant attention from all the staff to ensure a wonderful night. Bennie the owner is a fantastic host and made sure we were not rushed and were served when it we asked for the next course. We shall return on our next visit to Belfast”

“Enjoyed the Large Roquito pizza which I ordered to take away. Hadn't had a Greens for a long time and i'm glad I did this was well cooked, crispy packed with flavour. Greens also never skimp on the toppings which I think happens too often in Pizzerias these days.”

“Fantastic! Best pizza I’ve had in YEARS. No idea what the other reviewers are on about. I had the Ferris wheel. They’ll remember me. I walked out forgetting to pay LOL but was yelled back to pay my dues lol. Whoops! Seriously the best I’ve had in donkeys. I make my own dough back home in England and I’d love to steal their recipe. Fantastic. I will be back!!”

“Wow. A fantastic Italian. Every time I go here I'm impressed with the service but most of all the food. I had a tomato based dish (sorry can't remember which!) and it was out of this world. The meatballs starter was seriously tasty too. Goats cheese polenta which we've had before is very good too. My partner had carbonara and was less impressed - she said it was OK but not amazing. However that's her experience and mine was epic so giving this five stars. They do the best 0% beer - Heineken - on draft. Best 0% beer I've ever tasted. They even do gluten free pasta. If you're into Italian food, I don't think you'll be disappointed (although I've never been to Italy so take that with a grain of salt maybe!)”

“Went here for dinner tonight for the first time and I was blown away. From walking in the door, the staff were lovely and professional. The lady who served us was amazing and made us feel welcome. She made our cocktail drinks and they were some of the best we have had. The food was extraordinary and the menu had so many good choices that it was difficult to pick what to eat. Thanks so much, would recommend to anyone!”

“Called in last night for a small family celebration. Staff were knowledgeable on the issues with cooking gluten-free pizza in a shared oven, but made it clear the cooking bases were not shared. We all enjoyed our meal. On the set pizza menu were able to swap out less favourable toppings for one we preferred.”

“Called into the Holywood branch for a quick lunch on a Tuesday about 12:30pm. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I ordered a salad + margarita pizza, along with dough balls, dough sticks + kids margarita pizza. A few of the dough balls were burnt but the rest of food was delicious. Will definitely be back.”

“Lovely bar/restaurant, food is amazing and good range of cocktails and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. It does get quite busy and it's not the biggest so heads up for anyone with wheelchairs/walking aids.”

“Ordered a takeaway for the 3rd time now. The food is always very good. Though I have to say I definitely prefer the chunky chips over their skinny fries that they used to serve in their Nicos Chips. Bring back the chunky chips please!”

“A place that has a firm place in my heart. I grew up with Mario's. Things in life change, but Mario's hasn't. Staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. When life was tough or things weren't going right, Mario's always came through. But always ask for extra base sauce! That is the key to happiness!!”

“Have pretty much tried all the Chinese take-aways in Ards. They all do some things well and other things terribly. Most of all, I find the quality of the meat (especially chicken) from most to be rubbery and distinctly odd tasing. Not pleasant. Recently tried The Ruby on a few occasions and it is by far the most consistent chinese. Portion sizes are huge and the food is of a very high standard. The quality of the meat is much better than all the others and the chicken is proper chicken breast!!!! Looking forward to trying more of the menu, and just relieved that we have found somewhere that we can look forward to trying more of the menu. Oh, good value as well. A proper old school chinese that gets it right.”

The variety they offered was perfect for a gathering—freshly made sandwich platters, crispy goujons, fries, several styles of chicken wings, a range of pizzas, and even hearty chicken curries. Everything arrived hot, well-packaged, and ready to serve. The food was full of flavour, generous in portion, and really well-received by guests of all ages. What meant the most was how The Pizza Place handled the occasion. They were professional, respectful, and showed real care in getting everything right with no stress on our side.
