“First time visit, delightful little coffee bar. The teacake was delicious and the Apple Crumble Frappe was like nothing I had tasted before. Very friendly lady member of staff. Loved it!”
“wonderful place!! staff is lovely and the food is absolutely delicious. it's the most authentic Italian place I've found in the area and i'd def give a higher rating if I could. bummed I only found out about this place in my last year at the uni, would have loved going here more often!”
“Very good food. Original Indonesian food. Reasonably priced. Will come back again.”
“We've just moved nearby and what a great little shop! Has a great variety of food, items, lovely fresh bread, household goods and drinks. I was super impressed and very relieved that we can come here rather than the rather grim little supermarket just up the road! The Co-op was clean, tidy, well stocked and has an amazon locker too. Excellent!”
“I really like the coffee here and the place is beautiful”
“This place is so so lovely. We walked in and were greeted by the most friendly face. We went for breakfast at about 10am on Monday (today) and had service with a smile with everyone involved. The food was quick to come out and piping hot. We had two breakfasts - a small and a large - perfect sizing for a great price. Not a stingy amount of food for an extortionate amount of money, just good wholesome food with a decent price tag. The atmosphere was calming and cosy, the sausages were lovely, bacon and eggs cooked to perfection. Option of gluten free toast which was great and the option to choose between tinned tomatoes and a grilled tomato was a nice touch as I hate one and love the other. Will definitely be coming again for breakfast when we stay at the bloc hotel, which is just across the road.”
“Finally found a Bengali home cooked food style cafe. Amazing food, value for money and great service. I think you should add home cooked biryani to the menu as well. Will be back again.”
“Absolutely beautifully presented delicious food.. much nicer than your usual curry house. Lots of lovely taster dishes for a unique experience”
“The mince pies were spectacular, honestly wish we’d ordered more. The biscuit tins were beautiful, we used one as a present. A special thank you to the bakery accommodating a late request to be delivered Christmas Eve. We can’t wait to visit the shop again and eat in, which both the wife and I did in the summer and the menu was stunning. Happy New Year.”
“A little hidden gem of yumminess! Staff so friendly and really made my friend baby bash special”
“Called here following a walk around the park. Good drinks and service on a nice sunny day. It's now our regular cafe to visit for a quick strawberry milk shake after our walk. Thank-you, be back again soon.”
“Fantastic value and a warm welcome!”
“My favourite cafe!!! This little gem in Digbeth serves amazing food and drinks in an inviting setting. The owners are lovely and welcoming - I've NEVER been disappointed with my food. They also sell handmade items from Africa :-)”
“I really enjoying coming to Wendy’s for a great English breakfast. Food tastes really nice and fresh. The staff are always very kind, and it has such a homey atmosphere. Highly recommended coming here for a nice lunch!”
“Fantastic experience at smithy's cafe. Friendly staff, good value for money. Will definitely come here again.”
“Had coffee here and shared a piece of homemade baklava cake, we stopped here on our way back to London….. very lovely indeed!”
“Excellent staff, they were very busy but still gave a personal service. Delicious breakfast, we highly recommend a visit. There is a choice of tables and chairs or sofa areas. There is a small children's play area - mini kitchen and some books.”
“Came for lunch today and had an absolutely delicious meal. Everything was fresh and perfectly portioned. Would 100% recommend. Our server Parthmesh was lovely - really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you - will will be back!”
“This place really shocked me, could possibly be my favorite pizza place (currently Baked in Brick) found this place by mistake and blink and you will miss it. Set in the heart of Stirtchly this little gem looks tiny, but opens up into a fantastic beer garden in the rear, pizza was very very nice , base cooked perfect. Can't wait to go back”
“Exactly what you want from a local cafe. No Heston Blumenthal, just good, honest, English breakfast at a decent price.”
“Really like this cafe, especially their Flat white, one of the best I’ve tried so far. Can do some work on the first floor but the heating works better on the ground floor. The stuff is so nice as well!!!”
“When the sun is out, there is little that beats drinking a cup of Bake180s coffee in the setting of the Courtyard at Middleton Hall. The staff are lovely, the food menu is extensive, prepared in the cute kitchen next door. Best of all, the coffee is prepared with care. Very tasty. Thanks Katlin!”
“Absolutely love it here and it's my go to whenever I fancy a nice brunch out with friends or family. Great food and a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Doesn't matter whether you're sitting up or downstairs - the whole venue is nice.”
“Love this place. We don't get there as much as I'd like. Food is fantastic, and great choices for everyone, including us vegetarians, coffee is divine. Would reccomend Kafenion to anyone and everyone. Prices are very good too.”
“Excellent place, the quality of the coffee never changes. I think it's the best in the Kingdom, without exaggerating. Also, the people in charge of the place are extremely wonderful and very kind.”
“200 Degrees Coffee in Birmingham is a true standout, offering an exceptional coffee experience that goes far beyond your average chain cafe. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly roasted beans is incredible, a perfect hint of the quality to come. The space itself is cozy and inviting, with a rustic, stylish feel that makes it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee is, without a doubt, the star of the show. Their baristas are incredibly skilled, serving up perfectly brewed espresso drinks and pour-overs with a clear passion for their craft. I've never had a bad coffee here; every cup is consistently excellent. They also have a fantastic selection of food, including delicious sandwiches and cakes that pair beautifully with their drinks. What really makes 200 Degrees special is the staff. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help you find the perfect drink. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and that makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. It's my go-to spot in the city for a quality coffee and a great atmosphere.”
“Absolutely love wedges. The cobs are to die for! Honestly, you won't find a bakery better than this one! Lovely friendly staff, great stock and dont get me started on their cakes! Defo worth the trip and great value for money!”
“Just called here on spec, what a lovely find. The Deli was very busy which is always a good sign and we saw why. The Latte was the best I've ever tasted, and the cakes we had were delicious. The staff were all so polite and attentive we would highly recommend this little gem.”
“Loved the vibe of this cafe, the food was excellent too. They've got houseplants and cacti, plus cards and art for sale. We had pancakes and smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs, and both dishes were tasty and good value. The only low point was the food took a while to come out, but they'd just had a food delivery so were quite busy. Overall, a great place for brunch right on knowle high street. We'll be visiting again.”
“Lovely little cafe, absolutely love the breakfasts here! Ive eaten here many times and the breakfast are always top notch. Service is always great. I imagine the ppl that write poor reviews must be just unhappy with their lives. You will struggle to find a better breakfast!”
