“Always had good experience at this Nandos - especially since the refurb. Chicken is never dry and restaurant is clean. Also found, compared to other branches, they’re very organised and make a big effort to get everyone seated as soon as possible. Fatima (manager) especially adds to the experience. Always friendly and goes above and beyond for all customers. Also, she always remembers my nut allergy and double checks with me.”

“First time visit on a Saturday. We booked, as table was for 7. Extensive menu. All the favourites. The 'signature dishes' were all unique as far as I could tell, and from this I chose Chicken Chemali. Which had a sort of soy, honey,sticky vibe, and utterly delicious. Signature dish meant it came with matched rice and a triangular plate. Standard dishes had circular plates.... Nice touches included....trolley bringing food to our table included a gas hob to ensure perfect temp for the dishes......waiters asked how much of your dish you wanted to start with on your plate, and measured it out for you.....free shots at the end with a choice of sweets/after eights/aniseed. Wonderful service and a pleasant setting right near the huge free car park of Olton Station. Update 14/1/23. Another Very Successful takeaway. Now our go-to Indian Restaurant Update 19/9/23. Another excellent meal in the restaurant. All others are now compared to this one, as the benchmark. Look out for special offer when you dine in off peak. Update 5/2/24. Still great. I think the plates are a bit bigger? We were all stuffed. Saturday evening and it was packed, but still great food. Update 22/9/24. They've updated their menu. All the old favorites of mine, and some new ones to try over coming visits...... All with dish names I don't think I've seen on a menu before. Check it out! Just remember to book on Saturdays. PS, there's currently 25% off food when you dine in Sunday to Thursday”

“Previously visited Cheals when based in Henley-in-Arden. This was our first time at their new location in Knowle and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is much more spacious now and the interior tastefully decorated. So, first impressions were great. Our waiter gave a warm welcome and expertly guided us through the menu and wine list. A very capable front of house team. My wife and I opted for the a la carte lunch menu and with each course our enthusiasm for the next grew. The hardest thing is deciding between all the tempting choices on offer, so if your budget stretches to it, I'd go for the tasting menu for a real treat. The highlight for us both was the dessert course. What a selection of moreish puddings skillfully prepared. Hats off to their patisserie chef. We chose Cheals for our second wedding anniversary and were delighted we did. We'll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend it to others too.”

Rate to find a Bhuna fine just right - the sauce was think worth a nice texture and very tasty, not too spicy so could be enjoyed. I was treated warmly and service was quick. “Visited for the first time this week as my husband had bought vouchers for me for Christmas after me following Artico on Instagram for years and commenting on their colours; especially the blondes. I was pleased to see a busy, impeccably clean and well-kept salon. I was a little nervous but the entire process of my visit was talked through. The girls introduced themselves and we talked through my wants and needs. They gave suggestions too based on the condition of my hair and some regrowth after having a baby. Laurel coloured my hair and understood exactly what I was after. Conversation was easy and the atmosphere in the salon was professional but chilled. Everything seemed very well-run and in hand. I felt welcome, at ease and valued the entire appointment. I can't remember the name of the stylist that cut my hair (sorry! We talked about our dogs), but she wasted no time getting to work, was honest about how much hair needed to come off for the best result (I hadn't had my hair done since November) and left my hair looking and feeling brand new. I'm incredibly pleased with not only the outcome of my colour and cut, but the experience I had. I'll definitely be back. The loyalty card is a great incentive too. “I am so pleased to have come across this venue today! We were served by Iness who was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable on gluten free options explaining everything to me. I had chicken fajitas in the BBQ Chipotle sauce and a side of cheesy fries with the most wonderful pineapple IPA. My husband had the beef burrito and was impressed and enjoyed it. The food is great. The service was amazing. The venue is just awesome and I love that there is so much to look at take in. The decor and music create a Mexican vibe and it just felt a great place to stop and enjoy some good food and a good time. Looking forward to the next visit already! ✨”

The food comes out when ready, so be prepared to wait, while the food is cooked. But when it comes out, it's tasty and it's hot. The staff are friendly and polite.
