Seafood delivery in Birmingham

“This used to be Spice Valley, and I avoided Spice Valley unless friends insisted I went for a birthday celebration. It has been taken over and is totally different and has a name change to reflect this. The food is regional Indian food, cooked to a very high standard and tasty with layers of flavour. I had soft shell crabs for the first time in my 65+yrs' life. They were awesome. If you are a bit adventurous with your food, then I suggest you try them. I then had lamb with Okra (ladies' fingers) and spicy rice. The lamb was lovely and tender, and not tough like it is in some curry houses where they rush the cooking and you get tough chewy lamb. The spicy rice had a touch of heat but was flavoursome and well worth eating. At a lot of Inian/Asian restaurants. I can't be bothered to eat all the meal and take some home in a doggy bag. No chance of that in this restaurant. I polished off the lot. This new venture is well worth supporting, unlike its predecessor. I will be returning.”

“Lovely upstairs brunch and lunch spot, overlooking York Road. Simple classic decor, warm and friendly service and absolutely gorgeous food. Probably one of the best brunch places in town right now. Looking forward to trying the Sunday roast dinners!”

“We recently had to arrange a family funeral and decided to hold the reception here for 20 people after the service. It was a great choice. We had a dedicated seating area reserved for us, the buffet was delicious and plentiful but most importantly, the staff were polite, friendly and very efficient. Can not thank them enough and we would highly recommend the Horse and Jockey”

“Had dinner here 2x last yr and again this yr and i absolutly love the food. Service is 10/10 food quality and taste 10/10 presentation 10/10. “I had a fantastic experience at Kemal Pasha Restaurant in Birmingham. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The atmosphere is cosy yet vibrant, perfect for both family dinners and gatherings with friends. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was prepared with care, and you could really taste the authenticity in the Turkish and Mediterranean flavours. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding for the price. The service was excellent too – friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Overall, Kemal Pasha is a real gem in Birmingham. “Great ambience and customer service, all staff are accommodating. Portions of the food doesn’t look big but actually quite filling. I ordered the Lamb Bhunna which has a generous portion of diced lamb, the sauce is very thick and goes well with the mushroom pulao rice. Onion bhajis are also decent.”

“Order ahead as it takes them at least 30 - 40 minutes as they have a thriving take away business - the food is zero frills and 100% on the taste and far too cheap for what you get - if it's food alone that you are after, then go there - if it is atmosphere, service and no compromise quality then my favourite has to be Rajdoot in George St, Birmingham - the food there will knock your socks off and impeccable decor and atmosphere - but it comes at a price - but if quality equals price then not an issue - if you want a Patek Philippe then you have to pay the price”

“I had two large lasagnes to takeaway to serve 20 people today at a family party.The owner was very helpful and opened the shop Sunday morning for me to collect the food. The food was excellent ,it was very tasty , moist and cheesy and everyone at the party commented and asked where I had purchased it from.I would definitely recommend the Deli and am using them again before Christmas for another event and ordering lasagne again , a big hit to be repeated!”
