I love Italian food and this place does everything right. It's also reasonably priced. Great experience. I had the seafood risotto and calamari starter, both cooked just perfectly. “We had the set meal for two midweek and the meal and service was excellent. The hot and sour soup was a delicious fresh tasting beginning to the feast. The selection of other dishes was very pleasant and good contrasting flavours. I'd certainly recommend Maekong Thai for a relaxed meal. The meal with drinks was £40 each in July 2025 and was excellent value.”

Sakai had the ramen, the soup was thick and rich. service was super friendly and efficient. Overall, just a really solid spot with great food! It was also very affordable for what you got!!”

“Visited this restaurant and thought it serves pretty authentic Korean food. They have set lunches at very reasonable prices and set bento boxes that are decent prices too. The food was great and great value for money. Alà carte fried dumplings was great. Will definitely visit and try other dishes. Only down side was the tea was really weak, tasted more like hot water with a hint of tea. You can count the number of pieces of tea leaves in each cup. Accepts card or cash. NHS discount on alà carte items. Great friendly staff despite busy lunch crowd.”

“A hidden gem! Lots of choice, dishes I've never heard of but now eager to explore. Staff so friendly and attentive. Food fresh, succulent and lamb so tender it melted in your mouth. Definitely a repeat evening will be on the cards soon!”

“A very clean and well presented Local Chippy. The menu offered is extensive with something for everyone. I settled on a Lamb kebab meat with chips which got the obligatory upgrade to battered chips and came with salad and chilli sauce. The portion was generous and it was all cooked to perfection. Very tasty, I polished off the lot. Would definitely go again.”

“Wow, what a meal. Delicious food, especially the Tandoori Murghi Massalla (The one with the egg on), that was something special. The guys were really welcoming and accommodating and even put our music selection on. The place was clean and tidy and my only complaint would be that the bottled soft drinks were warm. We spent a little more than average for 2 people but we did have 3 main meals because I couldn't decide, and it was well worth it. We're not local to the area but if in the area again would definately love to pay them another visit.”

“We were looking for a quick and tasty dinner, Rayu exceeded our expectations. Very friendly staff which gives the seating area a 'kitchen table' vibe. The portions were excellent and the food delicious. Lots to choose from and they manage to do justice to dishes from lots of different countries. We recommend the prawn mee goreng!”

The staff were friendly and happy to assist when I initally called up. Service was quick no waiting around for my collection. The best pizza's around West Midlands as they make it from fresh dough rather than frozen dough. This place is a hidden GEM. Its a must to eat from.
