“1 day I experienced the delicious food from Miah takeaway & I’ve had 1 every week since. Words can’t describe how phenomenal their food is. I’ve eaten a lot of Indian meals & none are even close to the quality & taste that Miah provide. Not only is the food amazing but the staff are all fantastic. “Very intimate venue with a classic decor. Generous portion sizes and great flavours, absolutely wholesome food. Starters - goat cheese parcel and king scallops were fantastic. The thermidor sauce on the scallops was a highlight. Mains - steak dolceletta and lamb ragu raviolini. Both fantastic and loved the homemade pasta. Steak had some very complimentary blue cheese. Desserts - were both not really dessert people due to poor quality in restaurants but these were lovely, I had the pavlova and it was massive but still light. If we had to critique, the service felt a little rushed and the ambience was affected by the music that was dicey/dated Would go again 4 alcoholic drinks 2 starters 2 mains 2 desserts 1 side £115”

“What an absolute delight to discover this Thai takeaway spot in Ludlow! From the moment I stepped in, I was met with truly disarming hospitality. Despite it being solely a takeaway, the gentleman behind the counter kindly offered me a seat, making me feel instantly welcome. His enthusiasm for the food were infectious. He warmheartedly explained every dish that interested me, making many suggestions based on my preferences. It was clear he genuinely wanted me to have the best experience. But let's talk about the food itself – the ingredients were unbelievably fresh! I could definitely tell they used fresh ingredients and cooked to order. In fact, I was even able to see a woman chopping fresh meat on the corner of the kitchen, a testament to their commitment to quality. The magic didn't stop there! They even went the extra mile, asking if I needed a bowl to take back to my B&B, which was incredibly thoughtful and saved me a lot of hassle. You can tell the chef(s) know what they are doing and take care of the dish/dishes while cooking. Well priced as well for the amount of food you receive!!”

“This was my 1st visit to Titash and I can definitely say it will not be my last! We went to celebrate my father in law's birthday and it could not have been a better place to go! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the most welcoming, friendly and happy people! The food was exceptional, so so tasty! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos as we all just tucked in as soon as we were served! The staff were very attentive and made sure we had what we needed at all times! They also bought out a slice of cake at the end with a candle and a sparkler for my father in law's birthday, which was such a lovely gesture! We can definitely see why they have won the West Midlands Curry Champion of the year! 100% recommend!”

“I contacted The Bengal Inidan Restaurant with query about a Christmas work buffet. The were very responsive, polite and answered queries regarding dietary requirements. We discussed various options and decided on a starter buffet. On collection day they were very helpful directing us to their car park and loading items into our car. The food came in lovely large sturdy foil containers and we actually received a few more items than ordered. The buffet was a resounding success, very postive comments on the items, the onion bhaji's were delicious and a favourite. With past sandwich buffets there was always sandwiches left but this year everything was cleared up. We would definitely recommend The Bengal and hope to use them again in the future. Thank you”

“Possibly the best curry I’ve ever eaten! As a Birmingham resident I have eaten and cooked from scratch a fair number of curries. We were invited to try this restaurant by my parents who live locally. I booked a table as there were 6 of us. I got a lovely confirmation email. It was welcoming and told me that the restaurant wasn’t licensed and inviting me to bring my own alcohol. My family do not need telling twice! We were welcomed like old friends into a lovely clean, modern restaurant, and the toilets were very good, too! We were given glasses suited to the drinks we had bought, flutes, pint glasses and highball. The menus were expansive and clear. We ordered and were served quickly. Everything was freshly cooked and hot(temperature). We were asked when we wanted our mains, so did we want to wait, and were served quickly when we said we were ready. My parents had the shared fish starter which looked and tasted, I’m told fantastic. I didn’t try it but they polished it off quickly! Everyone was super happy with their mains, rice and naans. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures or take notice of what we all ordered. I will just have to return to do a better job! Seriously, the food was amazing and possibly the best curry I’ve ever eaten. Big claim but don’t take my word for it, please go and try it for yourself. I think you will be pleased.”

“Just had two portions of fish & chips at the Crown. We recently moved up into the area and several people have recommended this shop. I can see why. Fish was freshly cooked and in a very light batter. Chips (and there were more than plenty for my wife & I) were hot, crispy but soft inside. Fabulous and huge portions. Don't be put off by some of the negative reviews here...all outlets can and do have ''off' days for a number of reasons but the new owner is open to constructive comment for any service which you think may be below par. I will most definitely be back and recommend to friends. Tim”

Returning yesterday with a large group—over four decades later—was nothing short of brilliant. The food was as delicious as ever, the service genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere full of character. Sam, who now runs the restaurant, is the son of the original owner—and wasn’t even born when we used to eat there! I tried the new Flatzz on their menu for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely something I’d order again.
