    “Recently found this gem. I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until I went on my nieces Facebook as I don’t have FB. The malteser cheesecake and shortbread are amazing. I’ve been looking for cafes with homemade cakes and these truly are homemade, which is such a rarity! The staff also make the latte to preference such as decaf/ oat milk etc the indoor area is clean with tasteful decor. The outside seating is really lovely as it’s based in a pretty and peaceful location. There is a free car park that can be used. Owner is lovely and friendly. We felt very welcome. I was a bit worried as I’ve been to other places which are a bit hostile towards Muslims/ Asians but there was no need to be worried here. I haven’t tried the food yet but when I do I will edit my review . I’d love to see more cheesecake flavours as Gil is a great baker . I am a baker too and I have very high standards so that’s saying something . Im definitely not easily pleased when it comes to cakes. Overall really lovely cafe . I went to another cafe before I discovered Gils for homemade cakes and that was such a major disappointment in quality and taste and did not compare to Gils. Prices are really good for the cake considering it’s homemade and generous portions . Only wish I could visit more often but due to health problems I can’t but when I do it’s a lovely experience. Thanks!”

    “A real gem of a pub within easy walking distance to Kidderminster train station. The pub does have a small car park and there is also parking available in the street. Inside the pub has a cosy bar at front with plenty of tables and also a separate restaurant area. There is a lovely long beer garden at rear with plenty of tables and seating. The food menu and specials board had lots of choice and is very reasonably priced. Good choice of real ales, beers and wines. Food quality was superb and tasty. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.”

    “Our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. We arrived midday on a Sunday and we were the only people inside so it was quiet. However the decor paired with the music created a nice atmosphere. We both ordered the chicken yeeros and they were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and very reasonably priced. We look forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu.”

    “We attended my grandsons 1st birthday party there . The room was a great venue to hold such an event , there was a small soft play area for toddlers and babies with plenty of seating for parents . We brought a play tunnel and tent to add to the equipment and we decorated the venue with balloons and added themed touches around the room . The bar was well stocked and the service was friendly . We provided our own buffet style food for the guests and they brought their own drinks , so we can't comment on the pubs own food. The pub is not far from surrounding towns and a nice drive out . A great venue to hold a private event or to just pop in for a drink or two .”

    “Took kids here last night as it’s close to us, met by four of the most polite, helpful & friendly waitresses I’ve ever met they are a credit to the white hart followed by amazing food said by all six of us.     “A lovely time spent at The Watermill incorporated with our excursion to the Safari and Theme Park! Perfectly located with our stay at The Travelodge which was directly opposite! They say a place is considered great when it has good hospitality, and we can without a doubt say we had outstanding hosting, namely Sam and Lexi who demonstrated levels of impartial hospitality any employer of any establishment would desire, especially with them unknowingly having in their presence silver award winner Gideon Nash Director of Nature Care representing St Vincent and The Grenadines from the Chelsea Flower Show 2025! Top marks all the way for Sam and Lexi for making our trip more than pleasurable! We definitely recommend The Watermill to anyone visiting the area! 10 out of 10!!!!”
