“Little gem in Calverley. The Little Coffee House has a cosy atmosphere with friendly and kind hosts. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast. The scrambled eggs were perfect - fluffy and delicious. They were melting in my mouth. Smoked salmon excellent complimented eggs with light saltiness and smokiness. My latte was creamy and smooth. It's definitely a place to return and try other items from the menu. Thank you!”
“We hadn’t been to Capushi in over three years since our first visit from Australia, so on our return trip to the UK, we made a point of coming back and it was just as warm, welcoming, and wonderful as we remembered. The cosy atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are as friendly and accommodating as ever. A true gem that never disappoints!”
“Lovely little place, very friendly staff! Also had alternative milk options when I visited (soy and almond) - highly recommend! :)”
“The lady, who I'm assuming is the owner, was a lovely essentric welcoming host who runs a very quirky little establishment serving a wide variety of coffee roasts and lovely baked goods. I was fortunate to get some freshly baked scones...straight of the oven, and hey not traditional and puffed up, still tasted lovely. Recommend the Rwandan beans if you get a chance to try it. Nice attention to detail across the decor and crockery.”
“Great coffee and breakfast here, do pop in, it’s fantastic. We left as they were putting out the lunch dishes, i will certainly be back to try those.”
“We were a group of 3 adults plus a 3yo and baby. We've visited here many times previously. The cafe is very spacious and has ample parking as part of a few retail outlets. The adults had cheese & bean toastie, coronation chicken sandwich and a pizza, which was shared with the 3yo. The flat white coffees were tasty and decaf iced latte was good also. Plenty of space available to accommodate a high chair for the baby. They provide self service water too. Dogs are allowed inside. Unlike a lot of town centre coffee shops, this place has loads of space and is handily close to a Sainsbury's local. Recommend others to go and try.”
“Smorgasbord Café is hands down one of the best spots I’ve ever visited! I had the All day breakfast and my friend had the coronation chicken jacket potato, we both completely finished our plates. I would go as for to say it was the best breakfast I have ever had the spicy sausages were delicious !!! What truly sets Smorgasbord apart, though, is the incredible service. I have to give a special shoutout to Hajra, who made our visit extra special. She’s an absolute star, made me feel so welcome !! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a cosy vibe, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“I love this place, especially in the winter. Great to come for a nice brunch with friends. My usual order is the cheese and onion toastie and the dark hot chocolate. Tastes amazing every time I order this. My favourite dessert from lefteris is the carrot cake, one of the best carrot cakes I have ever tried. The owner is so friendly and the staff are nice too. A bit expensive but a nice treat every once in a while. Great atmosphere and environment for studying or catching up with friends.”
“Jana at the Broadway Bradford Starbucks was amazing! She was friendly, quick, and made my drink perfectly. Her warm energy really brightened my visit. Fantastic service I’ll definitely be returning thanks to her ☺️☺️”
“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Tristan and Liam at Halifax Costa — absolute stars! From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s not often you come across such genuine service. Their energy and customer care really made my visit a great experience. Keep it up, guys. you’re a credit to the Costa team! Will definitely come again!”
“An amazing evening, absolutely gorgeous food, a lovely atmosphere and would highly recommend. The tapas menu allowed us to try food we wouldn’t normally choose, but tasted amazing!”
“Admittedly I hadn't been to Shibden Park in about 30 years, so it was nice to call in here for breakfast on our bank holiday weekend visit to my homeland. My partner had the large breakfast, which for the price was excellent. Lovely hashbrown! My teen daughter had the medium and I had a bagel and creme cheese. We have cappuccinos and an English tea. Plenty of seating outside and in, dog friendly both inside and out too. I am pleased I got to experience the cafe and park again in a less busy climate. Beautiful place full of memories ✨️”
“One of the best places to have a coffee for work or with friends. Nice staff and great atmosphere”
“Always great coffee less so with the good . Limited choice this time. Busy?”
“Has had a lovely refresh since new ownership. A place with actual decent coffee and a children's play space is the ultimate dream for parents. Lots of space for pram parking . There is a step to enter but staff are helpful with getting you in. There is a changing table in the toilet (which is very clean) complete with emergency supplies! The children's lunchbox is also a great deal. Edit 15/8/25 I continually come back to Golden Linings due to the warm welcome from the staff, nothing is too much trouble whether you're there for 10 minutes or 2 hours. I will be sad to be not be here so often once I'm off Maternity Leave!”
“What a hidden gem this is. Found it by accident on Google but we will definitely call again. Nice and clean, nice food - well presented, fair prices and excellent service. What more can you ask for.”
“Amazing idea for little ones. From shopkeeper to astronaut, your child can be whoever they want. Plus, the big block room is a winner, too. Can't fault the food or dinks. Staff always welcoming and friendly”
“What a gem! Went in here last Friday with my family and we had the best time, top quality service, exceptional food paired with lovely Turkish wine. I’ll deffo be back, and would recommend anyone reading this gives it a go to!”
“Class cafe around the Center of Ilkley, food is handmade from my knowledge, and drinks are always nice. Staff are friendly and is a nice atmosphere, however did wittiness a bit of a tiff between two groups of women trying to get me and my friends seats when we were trying to leave aha. But all round always been a great experience.”
“The new owner Pakeezah, has introduced a fantastic menu that, in my opinion, suits everyone. I had the best Turkish Eggs that I have tasted. Perfectly cooked poached eggs with just the right amount of spice. The coffee is great, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The cafe has had a freshen up, with new seating and tables inside and plenty of seating outside for the finer weather. Dog friendly, at the Bowling Hall Road entrance to Bowling Park, with plenty of free parking nearby.”
“Absolutely amazing company been shopping here forever would 100% recommend I haven’t brought papers or anything in a shop since finding here it has everything you need and more. The customer service is incredible couldn’t fault it one bit any questions or problems they are happy to help.”
“I came from London to visit my cousin, he took me to this cafe. We ordered three cappuccinos and their service and coffee was outstanding. Very neat and clean environment Toilet was clean too.”
“Amazing bagels, lovely service! Bagels are delicious and always generously filled.”
“Outstanding food! I only discovered this place a few months ago but I've been here twice now and both times the food was incredible. The selection is great, it's well priced and the service is excellent too. Highly recommend the bagels, the Texan one with brisket in particular, but the roast beef one is also delicious and so it's the gochujang pork belly. The cakes are also very good.”
“As in the area popped in for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised large breakfast as pictured £7.00 was cooked fresh and everything was hot unlike a lot of cafes. Sausage budget however was edible. I would visit again if in area”
“Have visited several times after a walk round the Tarn. Small, but busy, friendly place on the High St. Staff always cheery and helpful. Great choice of coffees, and nice size cups. Pastries, cake and snacks available. Haven't had one yet, but looking forward to trying one of their tasty looking bagels soon. Best to park in the Tarn car park, which is close by.”
“Currently staying the night here with my partner just to get away from home and it’s been lovely from the minute we arrived. Such a nice little country pub. All the staff are all so welcoming and attentive and especially have been during our meal, despite them being so busy. Our food was gorgeous and so reasonably priced. The room is lovely and comfortable and it’s so nice to not have to leave the building to have a nice stay. We’ve ended up booking breakfast for the morning too. We would definitely return and 100% recommend. Thank you for a lovely night guys.”
“Great little bar. Great range of beers, loved Desperately Seeking Dopamine and the 12% smoked chilli stout was interesting. Friendly staff, great decor and the added bonus of a vinyl shop upstairs.”
