“An Aladdin's cave of a place when it comes to DIY and homeware stuff. Think of the "Four Candles" sketch and you won't be far off (that's a compliment btw!). I always pop in here first for what I need before trying the out of town sheds. He usually has it. Happy to sell you just a couple of bolts if that's all you need. Long may they trade.”
“I can't believe how much useful stuff is available in this tiny shop! Whenever I need anything they tend to have it, if not Farsley DIY do! Between them two and Sutcliffes so many of the needs of the villagers are served. They are so friendly and helpful too. Support this brilliant local business when you can!”
“Steve offered a brilliant service from the moment I left a voicemail and did the work within 3 days! Steve did a fabulous job repairing the hot tub roof for us having lost part of it in the bad storms. I would highly recommend Steve and will definitely use his services in the future.”
“Would highly recommend. Building sand is of excellent quality. Very happy with ballast and cement I've bought. Staff are excellent, very helpful and delivery time keeping and times are brilliant.”
“My husband and I love this shop. The system of browsing through the catalogues works as well, as it did when Argos had the same system, but a lot better. The staff are always helpful and courteous and it's a wonderful bonus to have a car park nearby too. What we particularly love about Screwfix is that unlike B&Q, the staff are readily at hand and are pleasant. They are knowledgeable about their products and always willing to go the extra mile. The times we have to visit B&Q, fills us with dread because we know we are likely to not be able to find the correct aisle, or the right person to direct us to the right place. Of course B&Q sell a larger variety of products, but Screwfix's product range is also quite extensive and serves our needs. If like us, you are fed up with the poor service at B&Q and are not after gardening products, then you may be pleasantly surprised that Screwfix is a handy alternative, if not a fantastic one. But please don't take our parking space.”
“All good quick and polite service”

“I found Andy and his great reviews in an online search for a local handyman. Really pleased with my refitted curtain poles and blind. Andy even hung my curtains too! Booked him to fit my new stair rail. A pleasure to work with. Thank you”
“Everything you need and cheap, brilliant!”

“Very happy , Chris has always been helpful when choosing a carpet , just tell him my requirements and a suitable carpet is sourced , just had the stairs and landing carpet replaced and well fitted , I like to support local companies especially the smaller businesses as found you get a better service, more of a traditional way of shopping than what is offered by the big chains , I always shop around when purchasing something and so far their prices have kept competitive .”
“Bernard and Raymond are very knowledgeable and helpful to provide you with the correct hardware for any of your tasks, it's a different and better experience than going to B&Q places where you are expected to buy hardware in packets of ten's etc”

“We recently sourced our new kitchen from Howdens Bradford and we have been very happy with their service from start to finish. We were assisted by Mohammad Hafiz who was very patient throughout the whole design phase. Kitchen is never an easy renovation project, but when you have someone who makes this easier, convenient and shows real care in helping you, it makes all the difference. The quality of the units are excellent as well and the selection was so varied that it enabled us to create the design we wanted without much challenge. Speaking with Abu and his service team helped me in getting exactly what I was looking for and resolving all my issues and queries. In addition we ended up returning some items that were not required and they were kind enough to accept the returns and offer us the full refund. All in all, a very happy customer. We highly recommend Howdens. Regards, Yusuf Esmail”
