“Weekend isn’t complete without a visit to Fortune Cookie for salt and pepper chicken wings and chips. As always, food is on point and scrumptious. Prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous so you may want to share (even if you don’t want to!). Service is excellent and you are warmly welcomed with a smile by the staff (thanks Kammy) and you don’t wait long for your order.”

“Brilliant little spot! Thai Corner in Borough Market, Halifax serves some of the best street-style Thai food I’ve ever had. The flavours are fresh, punchy, and absolutely authentic — proper wok-fried goodness that feels straight out of Bangkok. The Pad Kra Pao was incredible, full of spice and depth, and the noodles had that perfect smoky “wok-hei” flavour. Everything’s cooked right in front of you, piping hot and bursting with colour and aroma. The team are lovely — friendly, quick, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can grab your food and wander the market or just perch nearby and enjoy the buzz. If you love proper Thai street food — fast, fresh, and full of flavour — Thai Corner is a must-try. Halifax is lucky to have it!”

“Well what a surprise this place turned out to be. Hidden away in an old market in the city centre their food is amazing. Tried the noodles with duck and absolutely loved it. Will be going back to try a different dish in the near future.”

“First tried the food when it first opened and it's just as fantastic to this day! Really fragrant delicious meals and you get a massive portion for less than £5 each. I usually get chicken massaman or try a special. It's always consistently good. My girlfriend gets tofu red or green curry, she says they're very spicy but delicious. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the calamari I got a few months a go. It was very rubbery and overcooked. Orders can be very slow. I've rang at lunchtime and waited over a hour for my food to be ready. It's better on a weekend or evening I find. The food is always hot so it's worth the wait”

“I waited all week for Thursday to arrive (closed evenings Monday-Wednesday) so I could experience the food after a recommendation. The waiter welcomed me, I was worried there wasn't space as it was busy but thankfully there was. The menu is fairly short which is good, makes selection easier. Opted for starter of fishcakes and noodles main. Had Thai the elsewhere the day before and no sooner had I placed my order the starter was there!! I questioned the freshness there. Copper & Moss took an acceptable amount of time for the starter and the wait wasn't dissapointing, fresh and flavoursome. I was regularly asked if all was OK, there certainly wasn't a shortage of staff. When I came to the main I was informed they had run out of rice noodles, to be honest they could have probably said nothing as I hadn't paid much attention to what noodles they were, but I appreciated the honesty. I was offered some rice in addition, which I thought a strange combination, but again accepted the gesture, glad I did. The main was outstanding, the flavours were so fresh, having had a cold my taste wasn't at its best but this didn't make me miss the Thai basil flavours and combinations of seasoning making a delicious meal. The extra rice was used to mop up the remaining juices, lovely rice it was too, much appreciated. All very fresh and glad I had the opportunity to experience this meal and great service. Oh and I can't forget the Bloody Mary, after a b####y tough week it was much needed. Thank you.”

“Tried this place for the first time today and it was really nice. I had the chicken gyozas and they were cooked how I liked them, crispy. I also had the Thai green curry and it was really flavourful, plenty of spice and chicken/vegetables. All tasted fresh. Would definitely order again.”
