“I visited today (Friday) for a bra fitting with Nina. I had the best experience I've ever had with going somewhere for a fitting. Nina is such a beautiful sweet kind hearted lady and so professional and helpful and friendly. So so lovely, such a credit to this store. Thank you so much for all your help Nina, I just love the three bras I left with. In fact you done such a great job at choosing ones to try, they were all so comfy. Appreciate your help and time.”

“George and Anthony did a wonderful job of creating two beautiful suits in powder blue and navy for my best man and I for my wedding. Not only do they look fantastic on their own but they compliment each other perfectly and worked really well with the wedding party. We both really enjoyed the experience of choosing the materials for our suits and then the tailoring that followed. A special thank you to George. An old sports injury I had to my shoulder initially proved troublesome for getting the jacket to sit correctly. I felt very reassured by George that he'd keep working on it until it was just right and that's exactly what he did. I was really happy with how my suit turned out and both my best man and I received lots of compliments on them on the wedding day. Thank you George and Anthony!”

“Pretty much everything about a recent stay here was excellent. Location couldn't be more central to everything in Brighton. The room was super clean, well laid out and you can tell thought has gone into the guest experience, everything we needed was there. It's certainly not the biggest space, but for a weekend break when you're spending your time in Brighton, you won't need anything more...although the shower cubicle I found just a little too small for my size, but done the job. There were some really nice touches they added for Pride weekend too the room and we had super friendly check too. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“Absolutely fantastic service from Verity in the Brighton store today. I have rhuematoid arthritis and full legs and always have difficulty getting boots to fit, she was really helpful and kind, she got multiple pairs out for me to try and also offered help if I needed it. I came away with a Milliner platform which I've just tried on again at home and can't wait to wear them out, they zip up easily and the leather is soft. I'll definitely be coming back for more footwear as needed.”

“While they had a shop in Carnaby Street somewhatI didn't find one I could wear. But their online shop has huge sellection! Treasure trove of not only amazing shoes but handbags are gorgeous！I own quite a few of both. They are investment for future. I am very sad to learn their manufacturer isn't available any more so clearance is going on (September 2025). Get bargain before closure! I hope they can find a British manufacturer soon, and don't let the wonderful designs lost forever. It will be crime against style!”

“It's a standing joke in my family that Jaba Yard is one of my first stops whenever I'm in Brighton. I've bought quite a few items both in store and online and I love the fact that, in general, the clothes are different to what you can get on the high street. I find the staff friendly and willing to help without being too pushy (in fact I've had some very good advice about what suits me and what doesn't) and the clothes are good quality. At my most recent visit, earlier this month, I saw an outfit but didn't try on or buy, thinking I would be able to buy online when I got home. Unfortunately it wasn't on the website. I emailed Jaba Yard with a description of the clothes I wanted and they were added to the website so I was able to go through the normal ordering process. Amazing. Orders are turned around very quickly and generally received within 3 days of being placed. The returns process is also good. I returned something I ordered that was the wrong size using the prepaid return slip and my replacement items were delivered the following week. I highly recommend this shop.”

“I've been here a couple of times now and bought beautiful, clothing both times. At my last visit the wonderful staff had put aside a couple of dresses for me to try that I'd messaged about earlier in the week. They also had my perfect velvet jumpsuit in store, that wasn't available online - they specifically went out of their way to find it for me. Everyone is always amazing at helping me find my perfect style and fit for my body shape and make the experience both unique and personal. It's my favourite place to find something special. “Firstly my apologies for taking so long to say thank you to you all but specifically to David. We came to Brighton in the summer on the hunt for a new suit, as we had a number of Weddings coming up and I was in dire need of a new suit. We tried a few other places before arriving at Woodies. As we walked in we were warmly greeted by David who you could tell straight away was experienced honest and knew his profession inside and out. David patiently listened to what I had in mind and diplomatically guided me to what David recommended for my skin tone and eye colour. He was of course 100% correct and after trying a few suits I then followed his original recommendation, which he made within minutes of meeting. I tried it on and it was perfect. It took a while to get used to accepting that the person in the mirror looking back at me was in fact me! I am not used to wearing suits and to wear and own one that is of this quality and suited to my skin tone and eye colour, I feel a very lucky man to have decided to walk into Woodies that day. David went on to pair the suit with a lovely ivory shirt, a tan suede leather belt and a beautiful Liberty tie and pocket square to complete the ensemblé. I could not be happier with the customer service we received from David and for dressing me in my new suit. We are now two Weddings in and I have had so many compliments from friends and complete strangers and it’s all thanks to Woodies and especially David. I love my new suit and feel great whenever I wear it. I cannot thank you enough and will continue to recommend the team at Woodies to anyone looking for an experienced safe pair of hands with decades of experience behind them.
