βVisited today for a drink on our first ever trip to this town. The landlord and landlady were so welcoming providing us with a map and showing us various places thank youβ
βPopped in on my morning walk and was greeted by a giant smile from the gentleman behind the bar. The breakfast I got was the number 2, amazingly well cooked, super hot and quick. Great value for money and a lovely spot! Wish Iβd found it sooner.β
βWhat a pleasant surprised. Trying to find a table for 5 at midday for a spontanous roast is a tricky find when you call up most places and theyre fully booked until 5:30pm that evening - we were so lucky that wasn't the case with La Piazza and I imagine its because no one would think that this resturant would do such a great roast! Hoenestly - the portion size inceedible, the beef thin, the pork belly wasn't too crisp that we couldn't bite into the top, so yummy and the chicken was also really really good! All five of us were really happy with our choice. Would defintely go again and recommend to others. Really lovely variation of veggies too.β
βWe popped in on an off chance after walking at devils dike. We were instantly welcomed by two lovely ladies who were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful selection of locals beers and dog friendly. Would definitely come back to try the food!β
βthe staff were lovely drinks were amazing food was amazing loved it will be back. lydia made our iced coffees sheβs so sweet and lovely xxβ
βWe came here for dinner on a Thursday for a birthday meal. Our Server Michael was amazing and really gave us an outstanding service. One of our group has a Nut allergy, and they were happy to give us the booklet so we were able to check what she could eat and the food came with a sticker to show it was nut free meal. All the food was delicious and they even gave our friend a small happy birthday treat. Thank you for making it such a special meal!β
β1) Beautiful setting on the beachfront. PLUS you can see the old derelict pier. 2) Staff are really friendly and make good recommendations (not just to get you to spend more!) 3) The food was delicious! Bonus point - as you can see the wine was really chilled which I love! C&Cβ
βCafΓ© can get quite busy but good choice on the menu including a popular breakfast menu. Service was good, food freshly cooked and pleasant outlook over the sea from an elevated raised area next to the car park. Outside seating and ladies and gents toilets.β
βAuthentic Thai food, cocktails are very very good, beautiful to look at and taste amazing, and fantastic pricing. Seabass and tom yum soup were my favourite, fresh and full of flavour. Was a very busy lunch today with 20 Korean film crews ahead of us, but the manageress was apologetic, and it wasn't that long of a wait to be honest at the end. Overall, a great dining experience with great food, excellent drinks and above standard service, highly recommended.β
βWhat a beautiful cafe and bar, to view all the wonderful cats (my favourite was Fifi so stoic and statue-like). The staff were friendly and made sure we knew all about the kitties and gave us treats to give to them. We had some cocktails which were very nice and some focaccia which was warm and crispy (yum). Would recommend if you love cats and observing their funny behaviour, very chill!β
βGreat restaurant. We had our Xmas meal Nessa is great and all the staff are so attentive.β
βGreat food, very fast from ordering the food to having it ready. Sat outside as it was a lovely day. Will come here again.β
βExtremely friendly staff and good food. Probably the best indian food I ever had.β
βWe just had our work Christmas do at Indigo. The food was excellent, particularly the traditional Xmas dinner. Succulent turkey and crispy roast potatoes. The service throughout the night ran line clockwork and it was a great atmosphere.β
βMy fiance surprised me with a trip here for my birthday, and everything was perfect! The food was amazing - he had the chicken teriyaki ramen and I had the Unagi Don rice bowl and both were delicious. Definitely the best sushi and ramen around here, we'll be going back again as soon as we can. Thank you again for a great lunch!β
βThis Indian is part of 'Indian royalty' in Mid Sussex, with its roots coming from one of the first Indians in mid Sussex and the first and only(?) Indian to grace the Lindfield High Street, some 30 years ago!!! I've had 2 sit down meals here recently and I've been extremely happy. And that comes from someone who must have visited them all in the last 30 years :). Enjoy.β
βGreat food. Beautiful place on a summer's dayβ
βBest Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. All the dishes we had were delicious and really fresh. Can't recommend Baan Thai 2 enough. The service from the young counter staff was also excellent. Thanks for a great meal.β
βFive of us on a cycling trip to Newhaven stopped here for brunch. What a find! Really good service and excellent fried breakfast - just what we needed on a cold wet day.β
βWalked in for dinner. Busy when we arrived but emptied when the theatre opened. We found the service friendly and quick. Food was tasty, large portions and we would happily recommend it. Great value and will certainly visit again.β
βHave eaten or drunk at this pub a few times now, and have yet to be dissapointed. The food is always incredible (the duck dish on the special menu is particularly tasty), and the drinks are good value with a good variety of beer on tap, spirits and cocktails. Have always been welcomed with a smile and good vibes from the bar staff, and the Saturday night bands are are always good entertainment too! Will always pop in if I'm in the area βΊοΈβ
βOverlooking the sea. Very welcoming including to our dog. They were helpful and friendly. Really tasty food. Would definitely return. Music making you feel you were on holiday but not so loud you couldnβt talk!β
βSimply levitated by the aroma, taste and Zein of the place. This place offers fresh, tasty Malaysian/pan asian food located on preston street. I ordered the malaysian laksa in soup which was made from udon noodles with seafood some veggies in a soup broth. The smell lit my brain and fueled my hunger. The food was piping hot and fresh and the taste was beyond yummy and fulfilled all my tastes including umami. The ambiance is very chill with nice relaxing background music, comfortable seating, clean toilettes and amazing location. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Service speed is okey, the staff took a while to take my order but the time until food was served is acceptable given the food tasted and felt fresh. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Highly recommend!!β
βWork christmas do, reserved for 13 people, easy booking, good communication beforehand. Table was decorated beautifully, food was delicious from xmas menu. Service was friendly and accommodating. Music was good, not too loud but just right. Not too busy at bar.β
βFantastic pub in the arches. Very cosy and atmospheric. Park in Churchill Square Car Park 2/The Lanes Car Park for cheaper nighttime parking.β
βPopped in for dinner. Fairly early so there were loads of tables free. Menu offers a great choice with plenty to offer what ever your taste. Staff were great and on hand to explain the menu if you werenβt familiar with Greek food beyond a moussaka for example. What we had was superb. Great flavour and wonderfully cooked and the portions are very generous. You wonβt leave wanting more than I can assure you.β
βMust try and must visit We were in Seaford for work and in this restraunt on a very quite day and expectations were very low knowing only 2 of us were there. But to our pleasant surprise the food was yummy. We have tried the Chefs special mixed biryani with lamb, prawns & chicken and Veg biryani. Both were very well made. The taste justified the higher price pointβ
