“Doesn't look much from the street but the the pizzas are top quality. Good service and excellent value for money. The main part of the restaurant is hidden away at the back and although we haven't tried it I'm sure we will do so in the future.”

“I’ve been here a couple times and it always taste as good as it looks, there are large selections of Italian foods from Pastas, Rissotos, Pizzas and the best Gelatos. We’ve ordered the Calamari Fritti and is well seasoned and very crispy we’ve also ordered the famous Crab Spaghetti and is very delicious( Note: If you ordered the Crab Spaghetti I advised sharing with your friends or family the amount on of food you get is a lot and more than I’ll expect), the ravioli is decent as well and in terms of the service is really good the young lady server she decided to gift my friend an extra scoop of ice cream. :D”

“Amazing new restaurant in Hove. We had the beef tartare and carpaccio to start (best I’ve ever eaten). The seafood starters we had were both out of this world too and the desserts were excellent. I’d deffo come again- highly recommended.”

“Delizioso e autentico! The moment you step foot in Amalfi, you realise very quickly you’re in a proper Italian restaurant. The ingredients were of top quality. We were treated some pizza after the owners overheard us talking about the pizza oven, and I look forward to returning to sample more. Would recommend.”

“The restaurant isn't very large, and initially wouldn't accommodate parties of more than four, though they later arranged seating upstairs. None of that mattered, as the food was absolutely delicious, and one of the waitresses was particularly lovely.”

Trying to find a table for 5 at midday for a spontanous roast is a tricky find when you call up most places and theyre fully booked until 5:30pm that evening - we were so lucky that wasn't the case with La Piazza and I imagine its because no one would think that this resturant would do such a great roast! Hoenestly - the portion size inceedible, the beef thin, the pork belly wasn't too crisp that we couldn't bite into the top, so yummy and the chicken was also really really good! All five of us were really happy with our choice. Would defintely go again and recommend to others. Really lovely variation of veggies too.”

“We enjoyed a first class Christmas menu and service, eighteen of us on a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was varied, we loved the choices of antipasti and the mains were good and plentiful. It is always nice to be offered a dessert that is something different and the Zuccotto was just that, and a large portion. We will be back along with those in our group who couldn't make it yesterday. The service was attentive but not too hurried and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. Thank you Al Duomo for a wonderful experience!”

I recommend ordering the Italian Mini Pizza's as a side. Decent prices and the staff and the owner are so nice and knows how to deliver good customer service.”

“Ok. Let’s start saying that I went to this place with very little expectation to find Sicilian street food, contrary wise this place exceeded my expectations. A precious little place in duke street that stand out for all the competitors in the street. I went safe for coffee and cake and it was ever so good that I decided to have an arancino al pistacchio after, and I was literally transported to Sicily with the flavours of the food. At the exit I managed to compliment myself with Davide the owner of the place, which was exquisite. His passion is clearly expressed into the food and the attention to details. I would not hesitate to come back for a coffee and cake, quick or long lunch, an aperitivo or a nice traditional unique Sicilian meal out. Ideal for everyone, from kids to adult and wheelchair friendly with ground floor access and tables. The unpretentiousness of this place makes it ideal for a solo meal as well as a romantic date to impress. Sicilian typical product also available to buy at the counter....not to be missed the “Crema al pistacchio”. In conclusion, this place is a must go either if you are Italian or not, and you will easily spot why is second to none. So far the best “arancini” in Brighton.”

“Amazing food, fresh and homemade also the best caramel ice latte with oat milk, most importantly the staff are amazing and friendly always willing to help, surrounded in a cosy atmosphere where you have WIFI and you can relax. I highly recommend coming here.”

“Had a lovely evening at pizza express being served by the lovely Paulina! She was bubbly and attentive, helping us sort out issues with the app and so we were able to utilize the deals available. Manager Jim helped us out too, and was confident and reassured us we would get everything we wanted, and we did! Food was great, came out super speedy, thank you chefs!”

“What a great little find! We stumbled upon IL Bistro while looking for somewhere nice to have breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The setting was lovely, and we were lucky enough to enjoy the Mediterranean weather while sitting out on the terrace. If I were being critical, the service was a little slow—but it was busy, so that’s understandable. We had two fabulous meals, and both Abe and his young apprentice were the perfect hosts. The sausages and bacon were of very good quality. Well worth seeking out while wandering the lanes!”

I also recommend the pizzas; there are eight varieties to choose from, and they are delicious. Drinks and desserts are not included in the price and need to be purchased separately. Warm and welcoming and lost of space so you should always be able to find a table. Pasta is made fresh daily. They also do a two course of three course special menu which is very good value. “Just celebrated my daughter's 18th at the Prince Albert St restaurant and have to give a special shout-out to the lovely Hannah, our Server for the evening, who really went above and beyond to make our meal as enjoyable as possible. From the moment she greeted us at the door, she was all smiles, helpful manner and was happy to chat with me about tattoos!! She even arranged for one of our meals to be repackaged into take-away containers when one of our party had to leave early unexpectedly. Food was great - and even the manager (sorry didn't catch his name) popped over to have a chat with us about the footie match that night (!!) - plus of course to see how our evening was going! A really friendly atmosphere and truly great service. Recommend!”

“Incredible pizzas. They use high quality Italian ingredients which makes a huge difference. It doesn’t feel stodgy to eat like some other high street chains. The garlic bread is genuinely the tastiest cheesy garlic bread I have ever eaten! Safe to say I love the pizzas so much, I had to buy the t shirt!”
