Watch repairs of this nature are not cheap anywhere yet I was delighted that somebody recommended W.E.Clark Watch Repairs to me as I was finding it difficult to get anybody to even look at the work required. The work required was simply to swop over the existing hands which had turned black, for a pair of New Old Stock hands that I sourced in America. W.E.Clark checked they fitted before finalising the work and kept to their quoted price for the work. I am delighted with the result and am pleased to say that numerous people have been fascinated by the Hack feature on the watch and by the watch itself given that it is 82 years old and keeps remarkably accurate time. Our stay was made so much more enjoyable b/c of our hosts 'Shaun' and 'Sue' who run the business. The lodges were extremely comfortable, all the home comforts you need to make your stay more enjoyable / relaxing. Additionally, laundry and 'disabled / wheelchair' friendly (seated) shower facility is available for guests. Regretfully, we returned home on Saturday. “We walked into the Riverside, a place with lots of shops and eating places init and we chanced upon Bubble and Bao. We went for the pork buns, chicken tonkatsu, chicken teriyaki Bao bun and what looked like Salmon sushi roll. Oooommmmgggg. So good, pork broth was tasty but could have done with a bit more depth but after seasoning up with some chilli crunch and Soy sauce and ginger it was delicious and with the kombu it was really an interesting flavour. The rest was just amazing. Sushi is prepared after you order it and I'm pretty sure the pork buns were made out of delicious Clouds. I'm so going to try and get back there for the grilled Eel and anything else I can next week.”
