“Quirky little tea shop in a post office full of charm and character. A returning customer as just love it here. Booking advised as can get busy. Garden is country rambling with fresh cut flowers in small jars on your table and hand stitched table cloths. Different areas around the garden depending on the mood you want - under a sailing sheet gazebo, small tables, iron tables, for two / four or more persons. Tea sets are vintage-esque with a selection of china / silver style tea pots. Scones come on tiered cake plates; 4 ‘no crust’ sandwich fingers per person + a huge slice of cake (have had a dry slice on one visit hence 4 not 5 on the score). Many varieties of tea + hot chocolate \ coffee available and alcohol to accompany your cream tea if you want. Savouries also available but not tried yet. Toilet available and found by meandering through the kitchen garden - rustic charm! A charming place to relax away the afternoon and leave feeling very full. One item to note - 10% service charge automatically added to your bill.”

“Since my first review 2 years ago. I'm really pleased to see how this place has developed. The meals aren't huge, but just right for lunch. The homemade burgers are seasonal flavours. Their Christmas nut burger was a delightful mix of flavours and textures. The loaded fries with vegan cheese and red onion chutney was delicious.”

“It doesn't look very promising from the outside but I was persuaded by the good reviews to give this place a try. Excellent fish and chips - I ordered huss, which was meaty and full of flavour, as it should be. Huge portion of crispy chips. I saw a sushi order being collected and that looked excellent too. A great local, family run place which I plan to return to. One warning - they don't take cards, so you either have to pay cash or arrange a bank transfer which is a bit of a hassle. .”

“A very smart, modern establishment with good counter service and very nice food, I had smoked salmon with dill on a focaccia which was delicious along with a date and chocolate cake, also delicious. The place was dog friendly inside and quiet which was good for my old girl, outside seating also available. A lot of thought had been put into the lighting and mood of the restaurant though I didn't quite understand the art, there is obviously a meaning but it was lost on me, not the restaurants fault, definitely mine. A bit pricey but often cost comes from quality and quality was evident in all aspects of this quirky eatery.”

“Went here to watch one of the film that was on during the week (Urchin) and had a wonderful experience. Very smooth process from booking online, arriving and interacting with very friendly staff. Then the actual theatre. Absolutely comfortable 10/10. Very clean environment; comfortable seating; and the sound system was perfect. Literally had a better movie experience here than I did at a much larger operated cinema 2 days prior.”

“We popped into Tun Tun’s on Monday for their free student curry and I’m officially hooked. The staff were so friendly – the moment we walked in they greeted us with big smiles and asked whether we’d like veg, vegan, or meat. I went for the chicken curry, and it was still piping hot by the time we got home. Considering it was completely free, it was absolutely delicious – generous portions, loads of chicken and lentils, and packed with flavour. Exactly what I needed on a gloomy Monday evening. I’ll definitely be going back to try more, especially since they also do a £5 student deal. Edit: We did end up going back to try the £50 mega thali, and it was incredible. We also ordered two mango lassi – smooth, sweet, refreshing, and perfect alongside the spicy dishes. The fish curry was light and fragrant, and the pastries were unreal, especially the sweet coconut pathi. The chana daal was comforting, and both the aubergine pakora and onion bhaji were delicious. The chutneys that came with everything were amazing too – a perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. I’ll definitely be returning, and next time I’m bringing friends!”

“This is what all the fuss is about. Special occasion Sunday brunch… doesn’t get much more special or delicious. Amazing value. The fish pie unlike anything we’d had anywhere, rhubarb crumble… literally everything was taken to a whole new level. Perfect for intimate meal or family get together. Very generous servings. “When we walked in, we first noticed the BEAUTIFUL decor and really calming music! The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome and wanted! The food was lovely - we both tried the poached eggs w salmon on toast and the scrambled eggs and pepperoni on toast (which we've never tried before but the pepperoni definitely works!!)- the food was lovely and we were full half way through! We chatted with the staff about their plans for the Panda Lounge moving forward and we're really excited to see the business flourish! We will be back! Thank you for excellent service!”

“Shared a range of starters with my friend, great portion sizes and particular standout was the Tzatziki. Main could’ve done with more seasoning but I would go back to try other mains. Halloumi is out of this world - definitely recommend. Overall a lovely experience and would recommend.”

“Can’t speak for the rooms as didn’t see them but based on all else am giving a 5 as not sure what happens if skip stars for the rooms .. but the service is phenomenal. Fascinated to watch the efficiency and attention the staff give to their jobs. They dont skip a beat! As for the ambience and just total loveliness of the building and its setting. Gorgeous. I’m trying to think of reasons to come back to this area. Loved it. My veggie tagine was pretty good too. Chips - French fries - as good as they get. No stragglers at the bottom you can’t eat. Yummy til the last bite.”

“I visited the Pelham arms as part of a large group for a Sunday Roast. The service and food were excellent. There was a choice of four meats and two vegetarian options. The entrance way is unassuming but don't let that fool you, this rustic restaurant serves delicious bites and thirst quenching drinks in a relaxed and informal French cafe style both outdoor and indoor tables and believe me this place gets busy. Our server, Albie was an absolute gem, he worked hard to ensure no one was waiting, very attentive and capable. As you can see from my photos the food is excellent. However I wished I had ordered one of the tasting plates as they look fantastic.”
