“We have been taking our cats to Cat’s Whiskers for around 11 years now. It is so good to go to a cat only vet where the waiting area is calm and there are no dog noises! Amanda is an excellent vet, quiet and calm, the appointments are never rushed and are very thorough. As mentioned in previous reviews, you do have to join a pet plan but if you have pets, you owe them that at least. This way they get regular, preventative health checks and are always up to date with flea and worm treatment and vaccinations. I am more than happy to recommend Amanda and her team who all do a wonderful job of making you feel at home, and every effort is made to make the experience as comfortable and stress free as possible for the cats and their owners.”

During our last holiday the staff was so nice to send us some pictures of him when we asked. He gets all the walks, socialisation, treats and cuddles that he needs to have a happy stay. “Friendly, attentive and highly experienced, the staff at Hammerpond are second to none. Our rescue dog was nervous at his first booking, but the staff handled it so well he was soon wagging his tail and enjoying being fussed over. The staff seem genuinely interested in each dog and are quick to pick up on each pet's preferences and sociability. The enclosed grass paddock is a big plus - other kennels I looked at only had a concrete or astroturf exercise area. It's wonderful to be able to leave our dog with such professionals and I can't recommend Hammerpond Kennels highly enough.”

For us the main reason was to help the development of our sons footballing ability and also help him with his behaviours and emotions as he got Autism.He had no confidence, he was struggling with his emotions, very competitive, he had a big issue with loosing (it was a big big thing for him to get over it if happened). He would not focus he could get easily distracted... He was not easy to work with , however the coaches were happy to have him in Academy, they were very helpful, and with the hard work and patience they have changed him a LOT.He did improve his social skills, football skills (it's a great footballer) and his behaviours. It's a great way to help your child if got any similar struggles. He is attending the training every Saturday and he truly loves it. We are very grateful and need to again thank the company and coaches and express to others that the coaching and support for the kids within the WMF is AMAZING. Highly recommend sending your child here.”

I came in with a large, DIRTY, poodle…at lunchtime. “Do you have time?” I asked, ready to get the stink eye. “Of course we do!” Said the patient soul at the desk. When I returned my dog was clean, fluffy (better than I can do it!) and happy. The rates are more than fair. The shop is charming and spotless. OK, poodle-people, we should make these women very wealthy. BTW- the Golden I saw coming out as I came in looked really great too.”
