“We stayed 4 nights in a ground floor double room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and spacious, bed was comfortable. It was hot week and they kindly put a fan in the room. The lounge is relaxing and comfortable with a nice outlook onto steyne gardens. The breakfast is amazing, can't fault it. Excellent choice and quality plus the service is top class. Staff are really nice and helpful, we didn't get everyone's names but big hi to Vicky and Tim. We will definitely stay again next time we're down that way from Essex. Best wishes Ian and Denise.”

“I first came here on my birthday in December and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and the prices! We’ve been back every month since, it’s brilliant for big tables or an intimate dinner of 2, I just love it. They make a big effort if it’s someone’s birthday and considering when we came last night we must of been quite loud (apologies!) but they were so cool with us and had great banter. So relaxed! Considering the big portion sizes and yummy food, I’m surprised how cheap it is as well. Definitely my favourite Italian in worthing at the moment. Thanks guys we’ll see you next month!”

“The last time I was here was in 2023… for some reason Google doesn’t allow a new review just updates. Anyway I think the restaurant has changed hands recently but the quality of the food was just as good. Had the calamari, fish & chips, fish pie. All tasty and very good value. Could have done with an extra staff member as the poor waiter was running around but all in all just as good as last time (2023) Lovely restaurant with nice staff. Sitting outside in the sun was great even if on a busy road. Calamari was some of the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Dressed crab was fresh & salad accompaniment was lovely. Fish tacos were a big portion & all chips were homemade. 2starts 2 mains and a bottle of wine for just under £70. Excellent”

And you get 10% of your drink if you download the green king sport app and it works out as one of the, if not the cheapest pint going in Worthing .”

“We decided to enjoy a roast at The Egremont and were lucky to arrive early enough to get the last table before they filled up with 100 pre booked roast dinners I ordered the lamb shank, while my friend chose beef, both served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, and parsnips—much more than we expected! We also shared a giant portion of cauliflower cheese and some massive pigs in blankets, which we affectionately dubbed The Egremont sausage surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I even shared some of the pigs in blankets with the neighboring table, & bought some food home - If you plan to go, I recommend making a reservation! “The quality of the food and service at The Corner House pub was absolutely exceptional. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a Sunday roast — look no further! You’ll be amazed at the portion sizes, especially the Yorkshire puddings, which were out of this world. Every single vegetable was cooked to perfection, with real care and quality shining through. We went as a small family of four and were completely blown away by just how good the food was. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too, making it the ideal spot for a family meal. If you want a Sunday roast done properly, make sure you get in there early — I can only imagine tables get booked out well in advance. Thanks for a wonderful experience. — Martin and family”

“A massive thank you for making my 60th last night so special (Nov 2nd, 2024). I've been going to this amazing pub since my 20's and more often in my mid 40's with my daughter and her crew. Good times were had & great memories were made. When asked what I wanted to do for my 60th, JB's was the obvious choice. I wasn't disappointed! This little pub hasn't changed in 40 years! Proper traditional pub. The staff are awesome! The barman even remembered me from 16/17 years ago! It was like 'going home'. Thank you to the staff and everyone, especially the new friends we made, for making my birthday so special! ❤️”

“I had lunch at this lovely restaurant. Small plates are good for sharing. Love their cocktails and mocktails. It has got the panorama view of the sea. You can even see Brighton！The service is casual and friendly. It is a shame it is going to close.”

“Came here this afternoon woth my partner and was greated at the door by the manager who showed us to our table, we were promptly served by mitch who acted professionally and welcoming. The pizzas were delicious, large with a good ammount of toppings, the doughballs were hot and fluffy and the halloumi bites were well seasoned. The passion fruit cocktails were lovely and sweet with a good kick to them. For gluten free dining i cant recommend this place enough, the staff took great care and all gluten free food had stickers making them clearly marked. 10/10”

“This was my first Chinese takeaway since moving to the UK from the US, and it did not disappoint! I collected my food 10 minutes after the order was confirmed, and everything was ready and still piping hot by the time I walked back home. The beef with ginger and spring onions was the standout; I bet this preparation would be good with any protein. The chicken soup with mushrooms was delicious, and I also enjoyed the chicken with mixed vegetables. The bag of shrimp crackers--a freebie for orders over 15 pd--was a lovely surprise. The food didn't come with complementary white rice, and I'm not sure if this is standard in the UK or just this place. If you want rice, be sure to order some. A tasty meal. I would order from here again. (Google makes you rate the atmosphere, and as this is a takeaway, there is none. But eating at home is good atmosphere!)”

“I recently visited this Sri Lankan restaurant in Worthing and had the most incredible dining experience. I tried their Koththu and Biriyani, and both dishes were exceptional, bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff including Kugan and Sampath were so friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience amazing Sri Lankan cuisine!”

“Popped in for dinner. Fairly early so there were loads of tables free. Menu offers a great choice with plenty to offer what ever your taste. Staff were great and on hand to explain the menu if you weren’t familiar with Greek food beyond a moussaka for example. What we had was superb. Great flavour and wonderfully cooked and the portions are very generous. You won’t leave wanting more than I can assure you.”

“Our evening at Thieves' Kitchen was fantastic! It was our last day of our holiday in Worthing and we are really sad that we didn't find our way to the pub sooner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. There were four of us and we brought our two dachshunds with us, who were given a warm welcome with a water bowl and dog biscuits, just like us. We highly recommend it and will gladly return if we are ever in the area again!”

“Having never had anything from here before a friend visiting from Staffordshire recommended this place when they used to live here and have to admit it didn't disappoint. The korma was perfect for a British taste bud and wasn't too spicy or over powering in any aspect. Really enjoy my meal and would recommend and return for sure”

“Been going to Nooris for years and years now, can’t believe I’ve never left a review before! Ever since I was a little girl, it’s been my family’s go to restaurant! The staff are so lovely and friendly and always so happy to see us, we love talking to them. The food is always incredible, the quality has never declined. This is genuinely my favourite curry house in all of the UK. I moved to Bristol 4 years ago, but I still haven’t found anywhere that compares. Every time I come back to visit my parents, we always have to come back here! We love it so much! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen, one of my all time favourites!”

“I used to be a chef at The Royal School for the Blind in Surrey. Their taste was heightened and it was a challenge. With that experience I am hard to please when it comes to good food. We had aromatic duck pancakes. Duck was beautifully done. Ribs absolutely delicious. Light fluffy rice with generous meat. Chicken satay had a light kick to it, succulent and really nice. We are very critical of takeout food because it's often rushed and it's annoying when something is missing. But these guys really hit the spot. A birthday treat. Really loved all of the food. Top marks from both of us. Thank you.”

“Had a one night stay and I can’t speak highly enough of the service from all the staff. We had a lot of luggage (10 bags) and the team helped us with them to the third floor and helped us store them the following day. Breakfast was amazing, view of the sea with a perfectly cooked full English. Super comfortable bed, quiet area. Highly recommended”
