“I love this shop! Hannah is very helpful and knowledgable. We regularly ask advice from Hannah and always buy Riley's kibble and treats from her. For such a small shop it has an incredible range of food, treats, toys and accessories for dogs, cats, birds and other pets. It's fab!”

“Love this place! It’s huge which means loads of choice for natural healthy dog treats and a large selection of nature’s menu frozen food which is good. I have yet to notice a brand sold by one of the larger pet chains that isn’t here and it’s all well priced too. Staff are also really nice. Only complaint would be all the dog snacks by the till, I’m like a kid at the corner shop, by the time they’ve finished ringing through what I picked up in the shop, I’ve added several more items from their till side selection!”

“When I saw they did a Lego Icons set from dune I knew I had to get it. (I hope they make more Dune Sets) I like to see the more expensive ones in person first before purchasing them as the images never really fully show the product exactly how it is. Visiting the store we were welcomed very politely by staff. Looking around a team member saw me looking and offered to open the display case and let me see the set in person along with showing the features like retractable wings and landing gear etc. Really good experience I have to say. I like the very friendly staff who are positive and helpful. Very, very nice store. Love shopping here. 10/10”

“I didn't even know this place existed! I've now been there 3 or 4 times since buying my fish tank. Great array of fish, knowledgable and friendly staff, an awesome place for all of your aquatic needs. Each time i've been it has been quite busy, so be patient when waiting for assistance. “I visited on 2 August, about 15m before closing. I was looking to buy a gift for my nephew's upcoming birthday, and after a small discussion as to his interests, Megan helped me pick out two toys; one was a "Pen Control - LCD Tablet" and the other "Dinosaur Bingo"! Not only was Megan super helpful with suggestions, they were also amazingly friendly and I could easily see they actually wanted to provide a good service and help me buying a great gift. As I was leaving, the beautiful English weather began pouring, and I asked if it was okay to wait inside for a few minutes to see if the weather would clear. Megan said that was fine, and after having a little look around, I ended up also buying two Laser Cut Wooden Puzzles ("Airplane" and "Mechanical Time") for myself! I can't give high enough praise to Megan for her amazing customer service and genuinely friendly and fun demeanor. Once I've completed these two puzzles I'll certainly be back again for more! “Excellent service visiting the area for a few days and my dog who had been sick unexpectedly. Nothing to do with her surroundings or people as visits regularly. Managed to fit me in same day appointment. My dogs tail wagging for the first time in 2 days. Here till Saturday and advised if tge injection and meds don't work within 72 hours bring her back as they will keep her medical records open. Fantastic vets thank you for putting my mind at ease so quickly and looking after Sky.”

“We were struggling to find our pup’s vet prescribed food anywhere in the country and not only did A Coombs have it in stock (their website has a very good availability indicator), it was priced competitively and they shipped it out post haste in fantastic packaging (vastly superior to Pets At Home). The team were responsive by email as we were so unsure they would actually have it in stock but indeed they did. A wonderful team and far better than the big chain stores. We’ll be using them again for sure!”

The store was bright and clean and the staff member on the checkout checked if i needed any assistance and then left me to browse. Owning a breed with a similarly complex coat himself, Jamie exudes confidence and skill, which put me at ease immediately. He is incredibly good with my boy, Bear, who with is a large pup with a complex coat, absolutely loves going there. He literally skips in! The staff's expertise doesn't end with grooming. Jacqui provides excellent dietary advice and has an outstanding selection of food, treats, and even toys to choose from. Their Christmas Grotto is a delightful bonus. My dachshund loves the treats I get him from Pets Corner, especially the chicken steak strips, which seem to make his coat glossy and give the fur on the end of his willy a glossy full bodied appearance, for his size it’s quite a long willy so this does improve his look. Great local pet shop.”
