βSean laid our hard flooring in the house and did a great job especially as our walls are by no means straight. He is very diligent and hard working plus always available to offer any advice regarding choice of flooring. I would definitely book Sean again for future flooring requirements.β
βMy son has absolutely thrived during his time here, we have seen great progress in his development - but more importantly to us; he absolutely loves attending and has a very special bond with his Key worker Sue. All of the staff are fantastic and so warm, caring and sweet. Having previously been in a private nursery setting, we have much preferred the set up here, the experience of the staff and the values of the approach. We canβt wait for our younger son to be old enough to attend. Thank you xβ
βHarcourt is an absolute gem. The staff is incredible. They go above and beyond to include and welcome all children, whatever stage they are at with their socialising journey. They are so creative with the activities they offer children. It really has a community atmosphere, we are incredibly grateful we have had a space for our two children.β
βAmazing service from start to finish! We had the 'Swiftie' sleepover setup for 6 x 10 year olds and it exceeded our expectations by a mile. Attention to detail was second to none and Lisa was so accomodating to everything. Thanks again, would highly recommend!β
βWe hosted our wedding reception here. It was a lovely day and a great venue. We rented out an additonal side room as a kids room which i think the parents liked more than the kids as they could play but still be nice and close to be monitored. The team were really helpfull getting us booked, up and running and also with the clean up / packdown.β
βMy daughter started half way through the preschool year and she loves it so much! They made the transition so easy for her and made us all feel very welcome from the first day. We love how much they get involved with the local town, visiting the library, litter picking, using the local parks, visiting a local care home. My 11 month old is starting next week and I know she is going to be so well looked after.β
βSouthside soft play is an amazing place to take toddlers and have breakfast/snack and coffe while they play!! The staff are very friendly and helpful great for mums and dads with toddlers or just wanting a chat with other parents!!!β
βAwesome! Booked Rocket for our daughters 5th birthday party and we're so glad we did. A brilliant and engaging party which kept the kids interested and amazed throughout. Lots of science, easily explained at a level they could understand and fun activities. Great feedback from the other parents after too. Easy to book, good communications and worth every penny. I highly recommend!β
βGreat multi faceted space. I was there for hema club (historical European martial arts) great place to train with good facilities for water.β
βI cannot speak highly enough of this nursery. Our children have attended for 2+ years and we've now experinced all three levels - baby, toddler, and preschool. In each level, our children have had exceptional relationships with the staff, who are professional, attentive carers. The carers engage gently with children, and we appreciate their skills in addressing issues and communicating with parents. They create a calm, home-like atmosphere and encourage creativity, collaboration and friendships between the children. Their forest school area is fantastic - you get the best of a regular nursery and a forest school in one place, with children able to be outside almost every day either in the outdoor play area or the forest. Their staff post frequent updates and photos to be able to see what the children are doing throughout their day. The admin treat us with respect and they are professional and prompt in responding to issues. But most important - our children adore this place. They talk about their carers when they are at home, and they are happy to go and see their friends. They tell us about seeing squirrels and playing in the forest.β
βThey actually had CCTV of Banksy.β
βWe hired the main hall for our sons birthday party and absolutely loved it. It is clean and spacious. The staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly. We will be using it again and recommending it to our friends.β
βFriendly atmosphere. Good range of local meet up groups and welcoming to new members. Quiz night 1st Friday of the month is really good.β
βMy son has been attending Ambourne for over a year, since he was 1. He enjoys going and I can drop him off knowing he is happy there. All the staff are incredibly friendly - Iβve always loved how they greet my son by name no matter which room they work in or their role in the nursery. The nurseryβs Montessori approach is what makes them stand out from other local nurseries. We particularly like the fact the children are encouraged to spend time outdoors either in their lovely natural garden or on little trips e.g to the park or to feed the ducks. The communication from staff is brilliant; they give useful information on what my son has done each day (verbal handover and via Tapestry) as well as regular βparents eveningsββ
βI am just about to enroll my third child into Little Willows nursery. A new nursery has opened much closer to me but I still want to make the journey across town to Little Willows because I know and trust them and can't fault the way they run the place and what they have done for our children so far. All the staff are polite and friendly and seem to love working there. They are all friends with each other and that really creates a great atmosphere. I value their opinion and often ask them over my health visitor!! They were as excited as my family were when we told them no.3 was on the way! Very flexiable - you can move or add days if there is availability. They really get to know your children and how to handle them to help them grow. Thank you Little Willows! Keep up the good work xβ
βGreat little shop and very friendly ownersβ
βA converted old school and vibrant community centre with lots happening.β
βPerfect space for a kids party. Just add soft play from the toy library!β
βVery happy with our decision to send our daughter to Archfield (attending for over a year now). I love the setting - nice bright open rooms, huge and varied outdoor space and away from busy roads. There has always been a lovely, warm atmosphere. Staff are dedicated, knowledgeable and happy to discuss any Q's or issues we might have, v supportive. They try hard to support our daughter's second language. They also hold webinars and evenings on things like behaviour, food etc. And it feels like a lovely little community in itself - we've made some friends with other parents via extra events the nursery has organised (beach days, Christmas events etc.). Most importantly, our daughter is happy and clearly learning so much. She comes home with new language and habits that haven't come from us! And she trots off to nursery very happy most of the time. No hesitation in sending our son when he's a bit older.β
βWe had our little boys 2nd birthday party at Whirlikidz this evening and it was absolutely lovely! The whole place was spotlessly clean, and welcoming. Having the private hire made it really special, and the children had the best time exploring the soft play. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout, making everything run smoothly- from playtime to the cake cutting. The hot food buffet was brilliant, plenty of choice, and the kids especially loved finishing off with ice cream. Thank you for helping us create such happy memories for our sons special day.β
βAlways very impressed by the layout and cleanliness of PlayShed. Our kids love it (5+8), always plenty for them to do, and a table the wife and I can sit and have a coffee too. Food is nice tooβ
βBooked with my two kids (10f 7m) and my parents to go in the afternoon on a weekend. There was plenty to do as we walked around the park. Kids never stopped and were never bored. The adventure playground dominates the main field with plenty of things to climb, swing on, or slide down. Other activities the kids enjoyed were peddle karts, climbing wall, feeding the goats, mini golf, and the slip n slide and pools (summer only). They had a great time and I thought it was definitely good value.β
βPractical Facility, multi purpose. Recently there for a wedding as a supplier, very welcoming and friendly staff, lots of space in and around the pavilion, plentiful parking available on site.β
βLovely hall and very suitable for the Line Dance class I attended. The sessions are only approximately monthly. I would go weekly if these were available. Moderate exercise for all ages.β
βA great community centre with BIG plans (and a nice chunk of government ££) to make it an even better space in 2024.β
βGreat, free place to visit. CafΓ© is good if you want to support their work. Animals are well cared for. No parking unless your disabledβ
βSteve recently completed a full bathroom renovation for us and we could not be happier. Weβve used Steveβs services for many years now and never been less than satisfied with any job he has done for us. Steve is an expert at what he does and will always give you honest guidance and advice on the best way to use your space. Heβs reliable, trustworthy, friendly and always on time. Cannot recommend more highly and definitely worthy of βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Thanks Steve. Lisa and Ant.β
βA beautiful spot to tour and relax in Bath. The entrance is an easy bus ride or an uphill walk. Staff and volunteers are friendly and informative. I went at opening time and had the place mostly to myself for a bit and it never became crowded. The walk around the park is nice and worth doing, but not a must-do. My favorite part was sitting in on the reclining chairs reading and enjoying the view and the birds.β
βGreat place for dancing Swing at the VE Day Swing for Victory evening, accompanied by the Thornbury Swing Band. Great night, great food and great music.β
βExcellent play area for children of all ages. Wide variety to play with and even has an outdoor gym. Super path all the way round to do laps of the field.β
