βBeautiful place to visit and free entry, surrounding grounds are a lovely walk, the castle itself was very interesting and was a real mix of history. Thoroughly recommend for an afternoon out, there is a cafe and facilities on site, along with a small gift shop.β
βVery modern designed building, plenty of parking, comfortable seating, with accessibility a major design feature.β
βI cannot express how much I love visiting shows at the Tobacco Factory, whether for myself or my daughter. The shows are always incredibly well done, wonderfully unique, creative and fun.β
βThis is a really impressive mansion with some incredible grounds and plantings for flowers around it. If youβre in the area and have the time I think you would really enjoy it. Thereβs apple parking. It is about a 10 minute walk from the parking area to the house in 10 minutes backβ
βWhat a great place to bring your children for fun! There's play equipment for the bigger children as well as for toddlers. The food in the cafe is excellent quality. Proper coffee, lots of choice plus vegan milk options :)β
βHad a brilliant walk around the grounds with a members of our WI. Lovely, perfect day sunny but breezy, plans for blackberry picking abound! Ended with a coffee and cake with super views towards river Severn. Wedding was happening in the house, can't think of a better location for a wedding.β
βLove rose cottage so much. Everyone is so friendly, the food is great and theres a Brilliant play area for the kids to run around on a nice day.β
βBeautiful National Trust site. Excellent walks with stunning views. Dyrham Park house is just stunning with beautiful gardens, church, and ponds. You have video history, tea rooms, and a mobility bus for the elderly and disabled. Really helpful, informative staff. We would highly recommend.β
βLovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.β
βBrilliant soft play! Itβs massive, with areas for everyone. Staff were friendly and my 21 month old loved it. It was clean and the coffee was nice and hot. Not the cheapest but Iβm happy to support an independent and well-run business. We got our moneyβs worth, too!β
βAttended an agility competition there, fabulous venue, great walks for the dogs. Lovely surface to run on. Had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant.β
βWhat a wonderful place for little ones to have fun! Today was our first session at the play hub and we loved it! I have a two year old, but itβs suitable for younger babies and toddlers alike. Such a lovely, open and safe space for little ones to play freely with lots of different sensory bits and pieces as well as a little sandpit, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself! Hot drinks are served in spill proof flasks, which is perfect keeping the little ones safe and thereβs a great menu for little ones, with lots of options to choose from for a lovely little lunch! Also a lovely selection for the adults too! I will definitely return for another play session in the future!β
βWonderful place to visit in any weather, lovely walks in all directions well worth a visit ,make sure when the cafe is open if you fancy drinksβ
βWow what a great little venue. This is my 2nd time at the Jam Jar seeing the Fantastic Supalung. Such a friendly vibe. Very cool stage with underwear theme. Can't wait to go back again.β
βA really good and large play area for children of all ages. There are 3 sections. 1 has the older play frames for the older kids, with tall climbing frames and a large tube slide. There is an area with a swing. There is also an area for the smaller kids, which is newer. There are swings, a smaller play frame, disability swings and a sand area with a ship and small climbing frame. There are plenty of benches in the play areas. There is something for everyone. For crawling babies & toddlers, there isn't much to do other than go on the swings and the seesaw.β
βWhat an amazing soft play. Well worth every penny the staff are so friendly and nice. The venue is so clean and colourful wish I lived closer so I could visit more oftenβ
βThe Three Kings of Rock and Roll. Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Elvis. FANTASTIC.β
βWe booked Lyde Green Community Centre for our sonβs third birthday party which took place today. We were so pleased with our booking and will likely be booking with them again in the future. They were incredibly reasonable in price and had plenty of tables and chairs and also a huge soft play selection available to hire for just an additional Β£35 - the kids absolutely loved this! One of the reasons we hired a sports hall was because we wanted our son and his friends to be able to ride their balance bikes and scooters around which the hall were more than happy for us to do. Communication was really good throughout the whole booking process and after and Iβll be recommending to everyone.β
βLove all the open space, love the play park facilitiesβ
βI've been here plenty of times over the years either for Friday Fun on a Friday Evening or for Stay & Play Cafeβ
βI came to Zed for the first time to see a battle of the bands, supporting the band Blue Crow who I've seen before at the fleece, one of the main Bristol venues. Despite this place being really new and a fair bit smaller, I'd honestly say the sound was mixed way more professionally, volume levels were way better and it made listening to Blue Crow even more enjoyable! Acoustics were great and there's already a great alt scene present, the selection of bands were awesome and the staff were lovely! Tidy little venue!β
βSmart, slick and the coffee was pretty good and at a sensible price. The cakes looked good but I didn't try them. Ever since Liz Truss was in power coffee has gone up, chocolate too, I can't think why. But at Β£2.40 that's good compared to some places at Β£3.45.β
βLovely place for Children to spend time outdoors and nice sessions indoors as wellβ
βWe got married at Folly Farm in August 2024, having found them from a search along the lines of "eco organic outdoor wedding". Folly Farm delivered on that, along with wonderful staff and a fabulous venue. Matt and Claire and the team are really lovely people who just want their couples to have a fabulous day, and that came through in the way they took every request in their stride, always with a smile. We found that the venue worked really well, - with the lovely flow from the dining/disco area, to the bar, and out to the courtyard with the amazing views meaning that guests could be in the areas they wanted to, and could move between them easily. The food is fantastic, plentiful and great value. No one went hungry, and we had feedback that it was the "best wedding food ever". We opted for the sharing platters, - homemade bread, delicious lamb and local veggies (some grown on the farm itself). It's hearty, souful and friendly. Both the food and drink are really good value too. There are about 20 rooms on site, which was great as many of our guests could stay on site (and some camped). They might be considered functional rather than luxurious by some, some of the guest bathrooms are slighly tired in places, and some of the rooms really need clothers rails (we brought our own in), but they were all clean and comfortable. We we a little worried that if it was really wet and we couldn't use the wonderful outside space, it might have been a bit cramped for the 95 or so guests we had (including about 20 kids, who loved using the open space) but we were blessed with a warm sunny day, so didn't find that out. We'd definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a chilled, eco concious, relaxed venue, with fantastic service and food.β
βWell , what a fantastic place .Went there yesterday for lunch with the family ,who come here on a regular basis. What can I say but the best bacon sandwich I have ever tasted .Staff were lovely and friendly.β
βBrilliant venue with large space perfect for classes and parties. Great facilities with well equipped kitchen. The sound system is good too. Would highly recommend this venue for hire.β
βI hire the Jubilee Room and kitchen at the Manor Hall to run pop-up restaurant events. I absolutely love it, and so do my customers. The beautiful building has history, charm, and an unpretentious community feel, which suits my needs perfectly. It's incredibly well maintained, and always spotlessly clean. People always remark what a fantastic venue it is. Alison is so helpful and a lovely person to boot. Perfect venue for parties & weddings.β
βGreat place to make birthday party!!!β
βGreat space, gorgeous exhibition and enjoyed a gorgeous gong/sound performance.β
βLovely relaxing place to have a cup of tea and cake. Many thanks to the volunteers who spent many hours making the flower beds look so good.β
