“When we were looking to refit our en-suite and main bathroom, Luke came highly recommended, which was very important to us. He provided an estimate for both refits and assisted us in choices where needed as we didn't really have a set idea of what we wanted, we just knew we wanted it all ripped out and replaced! We had to wait almost a year to get started as Luke is in high demand, however both jobs were performed back to back over the course of a month. Both Luke and James were very friendly and approachable. They meticulously cleaned up after themselves every day without fail and above all delivered both refits to a very high standard. They also assisted with a couple of other issues around the house whilst they were here! All the work came in on estimate too, which is always nice! Following the work we had a minor issue with a creaky floor in our en-suite, and to Lukes credit he came back and sorted it with no fuss at all. We will definitely look to use Luke and James again for some future home improvements.”

He was very professional with prompt communication and a quick turnaround to get us booked in, he arrived on time and was even able to come along early when it suited us and he was adaptable when the work was more complicated than first thought. He was able to source parts within a few hours and followed up the day after when we had further work to do. It is very tricky to find good tradespeople and I am pleased to now have one we can trust!”

“I wanted to live with my kitchen a little before I wrote a review, and more than a year on I remain chuffed. Husk were fantastic from start to finish. I had worked up my own designs with the IKEA team but Freya was extremely helpful giving them a once over, making great suggestions, and recommended suppliers she'd used on other jobs to raise the quality of the whole thing, for example for the kitchen tap. I was a little nervous going with the dark blue Fenix but it's fantastically sleek and modern with the black valchromat core. It comes up lighter in the attached photos, but it's really a deep dark blue. The kitchen forms half of our open plan living space so it's always on show and seen by every visitor. Almost without exception, it gets a compliment from everyone, and the Husk fronts are a big part of that. On the practical side, Lauren was brilliant at managing a relatively tight delivery window. There are a few providers offering a similar service and I looked at them all. If I did it all again, I'd 100% choose Husk. Thank you! Before and after photos attached :)”

“Required 14 Polycarbonate roofing panels replaced in conservatory roof with similar specification. Initial contact by phone/email sending images of work required followed by a visit to view access, discuss and agree a cost which was competative. Communcation from David was excellent throughout the process either via Text, email or calls as was punctuality arriving when promised and keeping me informed of delays (Due to weather). David and Adam work well as a team and obviously take a pride in their work, taking the time to do a good job, with attention to detail and again discussing the work with me on site. Area of work was left clean and tidy when completed. Impressed with a high standard and would highly recommend.”

“Fantastic find. I had two alcoves that were wasted space and I could find nothing to fit them until I found their website. They are busy, so expect a wait, but that means they must be doing something right! I chatted with Dave Simmonds who was technically top notch and helped me choose the wood I wanted, explaining the pros and cons. He even sent me photos of the panel he was going to cut from to ensure it would be ok. He informed me that my waney wood pieces would be challenging my size, but he could join smaller pieces, which hardly showed unless you knew. He also cut the wood to within 1-2 mm and was happy to cut it wonky to fit my alcove, but fortunately it was square enough. . This was my second dealings with them for a similar set up that was on the right hand side of the fireplace. First time, delivery timing was a bit restrictive, but has improved no end now they are using a new carrier with time slots etc. For the wood I was charged ~£1000 for each set of shelves and I thought that was reasonable, given the quality, service and getting what I wanted I chose oak - buyer beware that its tougher than the general wood from B&Q, but great to work with - don't even think about using an electric plane or non-wood specific drills! They also accurately cut the doors and sides for me to my chosen dimensions. All I had to do was a bit of trimming with a circular saw, drilling and varnish to bring out the gorgeous colour. I made the shelves float on the walls, by making the shelves sit on screws, hidden by routing the sides, even made the top slide in and out on the screws to access the wires hidden behind the false back.”

“SG plastering service was very helpful and charged a very fair price for their work and they were very professional and responsive customer service is hallmark of SG plastering and rendering service. They completed two nice bathroom renovations and front porch and paving. We are happy with their work and feel no hesitation in recommending them.”
