βOrdered there twice, once for tools and once for glass. Both times they were brilliant!! The flux, solder and copper tape were top quality, and when I ordered the glass it was just stunning. Especially the Luna Rainbow selection pack was great as I have tons of colours to experiment with on a budget!! As a beginner it's perfect :D I have added some photos of the other favourites I orderedβ
βThis year I attended two busy but different city workshops run by Kevin β the one day monochrome street photography workshop in the West End of London and a monochrome and colour one in Bath. Listening to Kevin's relaxed and knowledgeable explanations and tips on how to work respectfully and discreetly on the streets helped me overcome my anxieties about photographing in public. Giving us mini-projects on composition, zone focusing, light and shadow, colour (where relevant) and building a story to try for 20 minutes at a time kept everything manageable. Kevin's patience and willingness to help us individually within the small group of half a dozen certainly increased my own confidence on the streets. We had great fun in both workshops and I have already seen an improvement in my efforts β working closer to the action, spacing the elements, and filtering out clutter for a start!β
βA genuine five star community with amazing coaches. Havenβt missed a class since I joined! Loving it and would recommend to anyone whoβs even in a tiny bit curious about what itβs like. Itβll be worth it even just for the laughs :)β
βWe had the most wonderful day with Kim today! We crafted beautiful spinner rings using a whole variety of methods and Kim talked us through the process so carefully and patiently, teaching us each skill and even giving tips for how to continue learning at home. Absolutely could not recommend more, I am already wondering what other beautiful pieces could be made under Kimβs expert tuition. Thank you Kim!β
βI can confidently say this is the best jewellers in Bristol. Brilliant customer service, Harold is a pleasure to talk to, and the shop has a great atmos to it.β
βWe have been at Kestrel court for the past 6 years - The Pure Office staff are friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. The site has plenty of parking spaces and the main receptions offers 121 stations and a place to relax. There are also local shops, restaurants, hotels and cafΓ© all within walking distances. Perfect spot to run a business.β
βJohn and his team are so lovely. The food is made FRESH to order, so it may take a little bit of time if it's busy but it's worth it. We had the veggie breakfast wrap and it was HUGE! The picture doesn't do it justice. They also do homemade cakes which are excellent. Take away is also an option! Highly recommend.β
βWhat an amazing venue! Without doubt the best equipped theatre that I've ever seen. Great bars, fantastic restaurants and amazing facilities. The staff are wonderful too! My wife is disabled and this is so well catered for in this building. Access was brilliant to all areas. We ate at the Collonade restaurant which was also fabulous. I can't fault this venue. The theatre itself is airy and our seats were very comfortable. One little tip- order interval drinks. Can't wait to go back!β
βRad and Liseβs capoeira classes have been a big part of both my daughterβs lives for years. They create a really lovely, welcoming environment where the kids feel free to express themselves and explore all sorts including: singing, learning Portuguese, playing instruments, as well as learning the capoeira moves. Itβs a great all round club for kids and adults. Would highly recommend.β
βWhat an amazing group! The are like a family and their production of Blood Brothers (December 2022) was the best youth theatre production I have ever seen! What is so amazing is that Julia delivers such a professional, industry-standard drama training whilst teaching her classes in such a warm, kind and inclusive way that everyone feels welcome and valued. If you want to build confidence, learn a plethora of new skills, make friends and develop your talents with a professional who has been in the industry for many years then this is the place for you!!!β
βHad a party for my sons 5th birthday with 23 friends. Couldn't believe how he kept them all entertained and focused for 90 minutes. Highly recommended and a very professional service.β
βFrom our first meeting with Becky to discuss the vision for the baby shower, right through to the event itself, the experience was smooth and well organised. Becky and her team created an amazing balloon arch and used the items I provided to beautifully decorate the room, bringing everything together just as Iβd hoped. I hired the tables, chairs, table cloths, chair covers and ribbons and the glass table center plates. The food was ok, and they made sure to cater for our vegan and vegetarian guests, which was appreciated. Drinks were purchased from the bar. My only small comment would be that the room which was the up stairs room for hire. Nice square/L shaped room, could benefit from a fresh coat of paint to brighten it up a little and would have helped with pics being taken. However, overall I was very pleased with the service. The team handled both the setup and the dismantling of the roomβan added-cost service, but one that really helped reduce the stress of coordinating the event on the day. I would recommend this venue for family events and celebrations.β
βI want to thank the Build a Bear staff for a lovely experience. I'm autistic, and Bluey is one of my special interests. When BaB announced a Bluey line, I was really excited, but a bit worried about going in to the shop- I'm a bit too old to like Bluey really, and was worried I might get some funny looks. I ordered my Muffin plushie as a click and collect as a bit of an experiment to see if I thought I could handle going in to the shop to make a bear. I was in and out in 5 minutes flat, staff were quick to ask if I needed anything, speedy, and very helpful. I went home very happy, and with a lovely Muffin plushie. I went back a few weeks later to make my Bluey and Bingo bears. I was quite worried, so decided to go a bit later in the day in the hopes that the store would be a bit quieter (I went on a weeknight, at about 7pm, and there were only one or two other people in the shop). I wore my sunflower lanyard, so a member of staff came over and quietly asked if they could help me with anything. They explained the whole process to me, and pointed out all the different stations so I could go at my own pace in the right order. I assume staff have to ask quite a few questions about add-ons and extras, but I really appreciated that nobody pushed me when I said no, I'd just like the bears. Staff were very patient with me, making sure I was 100% happy with each bear before I moved on, and asking questions about which parts of the experience I'd like to do and any bits I'd like to skip. The whole process was very smooth and easy. I now have three lovely Bluey plushies that will be treasured for a long time to come. Thank you very much to all the staff; my experience was so much less stressful than I was expecting, and you have made a big Bluey fan very happy indeed β€οΈβ
βLovely auditorium with excellent sightlines. Very helpful staffβ
βExcellent place for activities and adult education, arts, crafts, fabric work, poetry, live music. Good accessibility for a listed building, platform lift to most floors.β
βBeen here once before today, but had some technical issues (no fault of the staff) that were eventually solved. Staff helped all they could, shoutout to Jack. Good rigs, easy to book, and helpful staff. Easy 10/10, will definitely be coming back.β
βLovely ballet and tap dancing school. Children can start from 18 months and progress through the classes and start ballet exams when they are 7+ Miss Daisy is lovely and teaches the classes for the Bristol area. Reasonably priced. My Preschooler has so much fun as the terms are themed for the younger children.β
βI would highly recommend Raised In for anyone going through the process of picking a nursery for their child. The staff are so accommodating to child and parents needs. They are organised, professional and thorough yet warm and inviting. They feel like family. Everything is set up perfectly for your childβs development and the standard of care is second to none. They truly care deeply about every single child that comes into their care and you leave your child there knowing they are in good, safe hands. We absolutely made the right choice with Raised In. Our daughter has come leaps and bounds since starting in September and sheβs so ready to start her next step into school.β
βAfter doing an HND in music, I completed my Bachelors at dBs and I absolutely loved it. Sadly it was cut short due to the pandemic, but the uni was so accommodating and supportive of both my studies and in my personal circumstances as well. Couldn't recommend studying here enough.β
βSuch an amazing place and lovely people!β
βReally lovely after school club run by a really dedicated team. They are OFSTED regulated and have achieved Outstanding status. Like most businesses at the moment, they really need parents to support them, so use it or they'll go bust, which won't benefit anyone.β
