βThis year I attended two busy but different city workshops run by Kevin β the one day monochrome street photography workshop in the West End of London and a monochrome and colour one in Bath. Listening to Kevin's relaxed and knowledgeable explanations and tips on how to work respectfully and discreetly on the streets helped me overcome my anxieties about photographing in public. Giving us mini-projects on composition, zone focusing, light and shadow, colour (where relevant) and building a story to try for 20 minutes at a time kept everything manageable. Kevin's patience and willingness to help us individually within the small group of half a dozen certainly increased my own confidence on the streets. We had great fun in both workshops and I have already seen an improvement in my efforts β working closer to the action, spacing the elements, and filtering out clutter for a start!β

βA genuine five star community with amazing coaches. Havenβt missed a class since I joined! Loving it and would recommend to anyone whoβs even in a tiny bit curious about what itβs like. Itβll be worth it even just for the laughs :)β
βI've been going to salsa souls for the last 4 years (coming up to 5) and every time I go I come out with a smile on my face. Stellan is a fantastic dance teacher and brings the whole room together. I've seen so much improvement in myself and other students - he really cares about your technique and patiently shows you how to advance. Thanks to him and his lessons over the years, I have so much more confidence and have been able to dance salsa in different countries, including Colombia. If you want to start a new hobby, have fun and learn how to salsa dance well, join Salsa Souls :)β
βI absolutely loved the performing songs improv course I did last summer and am really looking forward to doing more courses next year. The theatre has wonderful teachers and has created a really welcoming community.β

βI attended Ellaβs Ying Yoga class and it was so wonderful. The class was very calming and relaxing, allowing you to calm down and reconnect with your body at the end of the day. Ella is an amazing instructor, gently guiding you through the class and she shares beautiful affirmations that help you restore inner peace and harmony. The studio is very cozy and has a great atmosphere. I higly recommend Ella and will definitely come again !! :)β
βWhat can I say! if you are looking for a fun and energetic dance class that allows you to unleash your inner diva then this is it! Simonβs class is the highlight of my week and I always leave the studio sweaty and smiling! Both my kids also take part in the street dance and musical theatre classes and have made some great friendships and are growing in confidence! I am always blown away by the shows and canβt wait to join in with the performances this year.β
βReally lovely place to visit. Quiet, peaceful but with fascinating tales of botany to educate too. There's a really nice cafe as a bonus.β
βWhat an amazing venue! Without doubt the best equipped theatre that I've ever seen. Great bars, fantastic restaurants and amazing facilities. The staff are wonderful too! My wife is disabled and this is so well catered for in this building. Access was brilliant to all areas. We ate at the Collonade restaurant which was also fabulous. I can't fault this venue. The theatre itself is airy and our seats were very comfortable. One little tip- order interval drinks. Can't wait to go back!β
βRad and Liseβs capoeira classes have been a big part of both my daughterβs lives for years. They create a really lovely, welcoming environment where the kids feel free to express themselves and explore all sorts including: singing, learning Portuguese, playing instruments, as well as learning the capoeira moves. Itβs a great all round club for kids and adults. Would highly recommend.β
βDance Mums Bristol is really Brilliant! I had no previous dance experience but Svetlana was super Welcoming and skilled at catering to all abilities. It has been so much fun and my baby has loved it too! I would highly recommend this class.β
βWhat an amazing group! The are like a family and their production of Blood Brothers (December 2022) was the best youth theatre production I have ever seen! What is so amazing is that Julia delivers such a professional, industry-standard drama training whilst teaching her classes in such a warm, kind and inclusive way that everyone feels welcome and valued. If you want to build confidence, learn a plethora of new skills, make friends and develop your talents with a professional who has been in the industry for many years then this is the place for you!!!β
βHad a party for my sons 5th birthday with 23 friends. Couldn't believe how he kept them all entertained and focused for 90 minutes. Highly recommended and a very professional service.β
βThe warmth and kindness of the staff is matched by the joy students seem to feel for the craft they're learning. It was an absolute joy to see them perform and I'll gladly see a show here again!β
βI want to thank the Build a Bear staff for a lovely experience. I'm autistic, and Bluey is one of my special interests. When BaB announced a Bluey line, I was really excited, but a bit worried about going in to the shop- I'm a bit too old to like Bluey really, and was worried I might get some funny looks. I ordered my Muffin plushie as a click and collect as a bit of an experiment to see if I thought I could handle going in to the shop to make a bear. I was in and out in 5 minutes flat, staff were quick to ask if I needed anything, speedy, and very helpful. I went home very happy, and with a lovely Muffin plushie. I went back a few weeks later to make my Bluey and Bingo bears. I was quite worried, so decided to go a bit later in the day in the hopes that the store would be a bit quieter (I went on a weeknight, at about 7pm, and there were only one or two other people in the shop). I wore my sunflower lanyard, so a member of staff came over and quietly asked if they could help me with anything. They explained the whole process to me, and pointed out all the different stations so I could go at my own pace in the right order. I assume staff have to ask quite a few questions about add-ons and extras, but I really appreciated that nobody pushed me when I said no, I'd just like the bears. Staff were very patient with me, making sure I was 100% happy with each bear before I moved on, and asking questions about which parts of the experience I'd like to do and any bits I'd like to skip. The whole process was very smooth and easy. I now have three lovely Bluey plushies that will be treasured for a long time to come. Thank you very much to all the staff; my experience was so much less stressful than I was expecting, and you have made a big Bluey fan very happy indeed β€οΈβ
βLovely auditorium with excellent sightlines. Very helpful staffβ
βBeen here once before today, but had some technical issues (no fault of the staff) that were eventually solved. Staff helped all they could, shoutout to Jack. Good rigs, easy to book, and helpful staff. Easy 10/10, will definitely be coming back.β
βDespite so many services being oversubscribed they were able to really listen and help me as best as they could. The person I spoke to yesterday was able to support me as best as they could and I've been able to go and find more support through their steering. Thank you so muchβ
βBIMM is amazing! The lecturers are so nice and knowledgeable on their subjects and depending on the course youβre taking, they can give you one on one help to improve anything you struggle with which doesnβt just need to include course related music. You get to meet a ton of new students in your year and BIMM offers a lot of social clubs on a variety of different things like pool society, neurodivergent society, football society etc.. BIMM Bristol has a lot of rehearsal and recording places you can use for free if you book them out and they can save a lot of time in your practise or recording process. You can also bring some non-BIMM students if they are a part of your band to come rehearse in the campus. They also offer a lot of mental health resources and help when it comes to stress or financial issues. There are open days and audition days that can give you the full experience of BIMM.β
βRecently completed a level 2 in counselling skills. My tutor was beyond amazing. The course was laid out really well and was really detailed and I gained a lot of knowledge and skills. The facilities are really good and a bonus that the coffee is good to. No local free parking for students .β

βLovely ballet and tap dancing school. Children can start from 18 months and progress through the classes and start ballet exams when they are 7+ Miss Daisy is lovely and teaches the classes for the Bristol area. Reasonably priced. My Preschooler has so much fun as the terms are themed for the younger children.β
βMy daughter has attended Keynsham Stagecoach since she was 6 years old, and is now 12, she looks forward every weekend to it. The teachers are wonderful, supportive and fun, the shows are of a high standard and there are good opportunities to take exams. Highly recommend.β
βStunning little workshop to learn technical skills in a safe space. I followed the three modules and then joined the project group, I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to do more with their hands, learn about joinery/wood/design and meet a great bunch :)β
βI would highly recommend Raised In for anyone going through the process of picking a nursery for their child. The staff are so accommodating to child and parents needs. They are organised, professional and thorough yet warm and inviting. They feel like family. Everything is set up perfectly for your childβs development and the standard of care is second to none. They truly care deeply about every single child that comes into their care and you leave your child there knowing they are in good, safe hands. We absolutely made the right choice with Raised In. Our daughter has come leaps and bounds since starting in September and sheβs so ready to start her next step into school.β
βAfter doing an HND in music, I completed my Bachelors at dBs and I absolutely loved it. Sadly it was cut short due to the pandemic, but the uni was so accommodating and supportive of both my studies and in my personal circumstances as well. Couldn't recommend studying here enough.β
