“We hosted our wedding reception here. It was a lovely day and a great venue. We rented out an additonal side room as a kids room which i think the parents liked more than the kids as they could play but still be nice and close to be monitored. The team were really helpfull getting us booked, up and running and also with the clean up / packdown.”

“Found this little Inn by chance. Well presented and clean. We only had drinks and a quick snack however it was well presented and good value. We noticed that they had a special offer on a buy one get one free on all main courses which we felt was excellent value. Large beer garden which had small area of play equipment in. Friendly staff. Campsite at the back of the pub - we didn’t visit so are unable to comment on the camping area. The noise from the adjacent M5 and railway track was quite noticeable and I can imagine may upset some people.”

The cafe has many options to choose from from different beverages and coffees, to sandwiches, pizzas, breakfasts and many more. The food is always great quality here. There is plenty of seating in the main area, upstairs and also outside.”

“Guerilla Burger have taken over the kitchen in recent weeks, and their burgers are the best we've had in Bristol. Possibly the best ever anywhere. The chips are also 10/10, and they are fairly priced. I highly recommend you go down and try the food. The pub itself is a wonderful quirky building and has had consistently beautiful & polite staff when we've visited over the last week. The whole experience is a treat, and I wish I could afford to visit every day.”

“Lovely and cozy pub in the old town. We booked online a couple of hours in advance (which I’d recommend on busy days, given the small size of the rooms) for dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful (they even let us order something off the Sunday menu) and the food was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I loved seeing people playing board games at the tables. Definitely recommended!”
