It’s not very often that they don’t have an item in stock but if they don’t it’s normally available the next day. From the front Davies looks small but inside it's like the Tardis an excellent shop packed to the rafters with goods for inside and outside the house,tools, kitchenware, paint, china you name it Davies has got it or will order it for you. Well worth visiting if you haven't been. Has parking in front and behind the shop.”

“A fantastic, friendly, professional and helpful local shop that will literally have anything large or small for garden and home as their shop is an Aladdin's cave! All the staff are so friendly and will do everything to make you feel welcome and will help you with any product they sell. If they haven't got it in stock, they can usually order it for you. I find this high level of customer service is not found in the larger DIY outlets these days.”
