βTook my dad for afternoon tea. So nice and so much food ,we had to bring some home. Delicious sandwiches and freshly baked cakes and scones. All served on pretty, dainty china as afternoon tea should be! Really friendly too. We'll be back again, maybe breakfast next time.β
βMy friends and I were frequenting the local parkrun in Cwmbran. It was a cold and damp and winter's day. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and a lovely natural heat from the wood burners. The atmosphere was welcoming and the coffee and pancakes which I had were both delightful. It is slightly more expensive than your usual cafe, but I'd say it was worth every penny.β
βAmazing little place! Caters for vegetarians and vegans! The owners are wonderful, live locally and give great service. The food is so tasty, falafels are made fresh and all the ingredients are freshly chopped for the day! They even have homemade sauces and vegan brownies to finish off! You can whatsapp orders ahead and pick them up too!! Definitely give them a try, you'll be glad you did.β
βOne of my favourite places in Bristol - a very cozy cafe with delicious coffee and cakes. The staff are delightful. Good to see a business with a conscience, boycotting products that support violence and genocide. A great place to get ground coffee for home use too.β
βWent in looking for Ouzo, but they didnt have any. The staff went on their stockists website and found the brand I was looking for and Ordered it in for me. 2 days later It arrived in store. Great Service, many thanks..... Yiamas :)β
βI had the most lovely afternoon tea (the special Valentineβs weekend edition) at Ashwell & Co! The space is a perfect mix of vintage eclectic and tea room, great music for ambiance, and the food was lovely! I go to many afternoon teas (itβs a bit of an obsession) so I have pretty high expectations at this point. I liked, since they only serve vegetarian sandwiches, that you get a lighter change of pace from traditional tea sandwiches, but the sweets are really the stars. The scone was so lovely, one of the better Iβve had in a while, homemade clotted cream and delicious moist cakes. To top it all off the price is incredibly reasonable for the food and service experience! Excited to come back in the future.β
βa walk around the gardens which was beautiful and breath taking - very tranquil place to be , grate to aid for recovery.β
βThis place has so much history to it. Chris and Kate looked after us on our weekend away superbly. Kate is a wizard in the kitchen. Worthy of the various awards they've receivedβ
βFriendly welcoming staff, great coffee & nice atmosphere xβ
βThis is one of my favourite places to eat in Stroud. Best noodle soup in town by far. Authentic food, attentive service and chilled atmosphere. Sichuan heat is perfectly balanced in the spicier options. There's also has an impossibly large range of bubble teas (warm or cold). Can't fault this place.β
βPopped in for dinner on spec at 9pm on a cold March evening. Warm welcome by George, we had three starters each (2 of us) and a lamb shank main (1 person). The octopus was excellent, as were the Caprese (bit too much tomato but gorgeous cheese) and hummus. Dolmadakia and flat breads were good too. Lamb shank also delicious. Only surprise was that the βwine by the bottleβ came in large steel carafes. The decor is very clean and reminiscent of small Greek tavernas. Weβre already planning a return visit in a couple of weeks.β
βLovely little coffee cabin stop off in Lower Clifton, with outside seating. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee. All dietary needs catered for.β
βGreat food and guys. Love the tacos and chilli cheese burger.β
βExcellent roadside cafe / βgreasy spoonβ. Friendly service, good prices and exactly what youβd expect in terms of food. There are even chickens, ducks and Emus on show to keep you entertained while eating!β
βWas driving past the other day at lunchtime, so we stopped off for a coffee and a bite to eat, and what a great little place, nice coffee, nice choice of sandwiches and a tasty selection of cakes, with friendly staff, happy to recommend and revisitβ

βLovely little place on an industrial estate in Bradford on Avon. I had the amber lager and hubby a Stout, really good and made on the premises. Really friendly staff that showed us to a bench alongside the canal. Definitely worth a visit if in the area. It's only a small place but packs plenty of punch.β

βThis is a beautiful little hidden gem. We were nearby and put βcafeβ into google maps and found this awesome place. We came just before lunch service ended but nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect, gluten free and vegetarian catered for. Great prices and super chilled atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. Highly highly recommended.β
βLocal favourite venue. Excellent coffee, great food, slightly expensive. We paid Β£25 for two flat whites, a wrap and pulled pork with chips. Biker's hang out, mostly older guys, not too noisy. Recently expanded and much bigger than was. Lots of outdoor seating when it's nice. About 20 car parking spaces. OK weekdays but likely to be full at weekends. Enjoy!β
βReview by Benjamin Chappell, age 9 (wannabe food reviewer). I came to the Falcon Steakhouse with my mum. I ordered the Falcons Famous Dipster Steak Sandwich and the death by chocolate cheese cake, it was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and was soooo tasty. The cheesecake was incredible, my mum had to say βBenjamin stop licking the plateβ. We couldnβt fault a single thing!! Thank you.β
βGenuine italian restaurant in central Bristol. We had focaccia as an entrance (there were several options), burro and salvia pasta, and porcini pasta. Both options of pasta were delicious, clearly fresh pasta, and complex flavors. The tiramisu was also great - they offer a βdessert of the dayβ and pizzas too which Iβm keen to try next time!β
βAbsolutely extraordinary vibes, super chill, very cosy. The food is phenomenal, probably the best Shoyu Ramen Iβve ever had, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I will be back a _lot_ and you should go there too.β
βWhat a superb vegan restaurant. Amazing food and the chap serving us was so helpful. We will definitely be going back. (Sorry I broke the vase!)β
βSuch a quality experience! Ron Answered every question asked and learned so much that we can use at work and even just cool information thatβs nice to know and have an awareness about the industryβΊοΈ definitely recommend to any independent coffee shopβ
βI went here with my partner for his birthday and honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences weβve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just spot on, stylish without being pretentious, buzzing but still intimate enough for a date night. Our host sam was great, you can tell he genuinely knows his stuff, especially when it comes to the steaks. We went for his recommendations: the padron peppers, short rib croquettes, the tomahawk steak, and for dessert, the cheesecake and chocolate delice. Every single dish was unreal. The steak especially was next level, cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. The service felt personal and relaxed, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. They also catered to my partners food allergy and were attentive throughout. For the quality of food, the atmosphere, and the level of care, the price was completely reasonable. You can tell itβs somewhere that values both experience and craft. Thanks pasture!! Xβ
