“Lovely cottage with private garden.”
“Lovely hold house! Great place to stay”
“I recommend this amazing cafe. Very, very tasty. The quiche is amazing.”
“Comfy, quiet, on a pedestrian square and a stone throw from the Roman Bath and the cathedral”
“Me and my partner really enjoyed staying at the guest house. Firstly it's in a good location ,It was a very short walk from Temple Meads train station ,and it's also quite close to the centre. The property was clean and comfortable with all the mod cons.”
“What a lovely place to stay. Stunning design, fresh, bright, modern and extremely comfortable. This flat is well equipped, very comfy beds, bedding and furniture. Great shower, super kitchen and everything you need. Highly recommended, thanks so much for having us :)”
“Really great apartment, fantastic location, right beside the Abbey, river, buses, shops and many restaurants and cafes. Very helpful host, really well equipped kitchen, warm and comfortable. Would definitely book again.”
“I've been supporting the homeless for a few years now and I can say that Julian House in Bath is amazing.”
“Cheap and cheerful. Clean and perfect for a stop off”
“I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The room was clean, well-furnished, and offered a comfortable bed along with all the expected amenities like a mini-fridge, kettle, and complimentary toiletries. One of the highlights was the breakfast — a good variety of options and everything was fresh. The hotel’s location was also convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers. It strikes a good balance between comfort, convenience, and value for money.”
“We recently stayed at your hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The next morning, we happily set off on our journey, but a few hours later we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that our jewellery box had been left in the room. Inside were my gold and pearl necklaces and other valuable items. Thanks to the honesty and professionalism of your staff — especially the housekeeping team — everything was kept safe and returned to us exactly as we left it, even after a month. We are truly impressed by the integrity, kindness, and excellent service we experienced. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, and a special appreciation to the room cleaner who found and secured our belongings. This level of honesty and care is rare, and it will always be remembered. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends and family, and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. Karadeniz Family”
“Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Old Mill Lodge. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were fantastic, especially Ellie and a new chap who you’d think had been working there for years. They couldn’t do enough. We’re so helpful and friendly! Would recommend this hotel to all”
“Can't complain at all, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and even had air conditioning which was a relief. The buffet breakfast was cheap and totally acceptable It's very close proximity to a Subway and short distance from a supermarket was convenient as well”
“Weather could have been nicer but the hot tub was lovely, tip once it gets to 38c, don't put more wood inn”
“Brilliant location, straight into services and back onto M4 Eastbound. Rooms, especially carpet is worn. But the room was clean.”
“Unfortunately I can't say much about rooms or location, as I only entered the establishment twice this week for a course I was talking. But what i can tell you is based off of the ground floor, it Is a very nice building. A lot of charm, character and style you don't really get much of nowadays. The staff were smashing too! I may have briefly conversed with about 7 of the staff between both days. Each one as kind, friendly and well mannered as the next. One gentleman in particular, really helped a lot of us out in my course when we needed to print things off and stuff. From being in similar positions myself at work I can appreciate it may have been a pain but he was very respectful and assisted everyone. It is a shame I did not have the pleasure of attending the hotel as a room guest, as I expect I would have had a nice time. But if I am in the area again I will be sure to check it out.”
“Just had a lovely weekend away, and stay at the Lamp Post Villa. The room was modern with an ensuite shower, and very comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was included in the price: juice, lovely filter coffee, tea, toast, preserves, croissants, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit and set you up for a good start to the day. The location was great, only a 10 minute, pleasant walk to the centre. The b&b offers great value, and the host Carmine was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.”
“Had a great stay here, the location was amazing and the staff are really friendly. Room was small but clean/comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but what do you expect from a grade ll listed Georgian building! Be aware bath has a large seagull population and you will here there wherever you are. We found them hilarious as they sounded like they were all chatting with even names one Steven!”
