“A beautiful spot, for beautiful accommodation. We stayed in Badger cottage for 5 nights. It is very comfortable, everything you need is supplied. We will definitely be back.”
“Great location as Bath is close by and public transport is really good. Lovely warm and comfy accommodation. Fabulous location and views. Everything you needed and excellent communication from our hosts. Would definitely return.”
“We stayed at this lovely house at the beginning of September for a week just before our wedding in Bath. The house is beautiful and was a wonderful place for our family to gather. We enjoyed touring the area (very easy to access Bath, other local attractions and great nearby pubs - especially The George right next door!). We also relaxed in the charming garden, with many badminton & ping pong challenges, and were able to have our large group linger outside over dinner in the evenings. The interior of the house is beautifully decorated with great space for a large group to gather or find quiet spots on their own. Finally, Deborah was a very attentive host who responded to every question quickly. We highly recommend this lovely home!”
“Amazing experience! Perfect setting. Perfect location. We stayed in Dolly; tidy, clean and nicely equipped with all amenities. Hot tub was fantastic, I would recommend lighting on Friday if you’re staying the weekend, it gets very hot and was just right for Saturday morning and stays hot. Jane was the perfect host, showed us to the accommodation when we arrived, along with some recommendation. We went swimming in Cromhall Quarry which was a wonderful experience, 100% recommend doing this, but make sure you have a personal buoyancy aid as you can’t swim without one.”
“Gorgeous building & grounds, fabulous hosts, and easy access to bath. Everything that you'd want & expect from a B&B. The included breakfast in the orangery is a nice touch.”
“My family and I stayed here the night before my wedding. Debbie and Nigel were the loveliest hosts and added so many special touches to my room and in the morning Debbie was totally happy with all my bridesmaids and makeup team decending on the dining room! The rooms and are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious! I really reccomend staying here. I know I'll come back with my new husband!”
“We have just had a wonderful 4 night break in one of the studio cottages. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack, which includes lovely homemade bread was an added bonus. Room was clean and the shower a treat. Local pub did great food that you can walk to in 5 minutes. What sets this place above others is the host. Angela was wonderful and friendly. She allows you to fish in their large pond and if like us, you may be lucky and see the kingfisher too. I am sure we will return.”
“What an amazing holiday flat. It was spacious, comfortable and charming. Some basic essentials were provided to make you feel at home, although what we missed was some salt in the kitchen, and body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms. However, there is a Morrisons next door, so you can easily pick up whatever you need. You get a designated parking spot behind the property. The road is narrow, so it can be tricky to manoeuvre through the gates. Regardless, parking is a great perk of the place. There is a bus stop close by, which is also serviced by the National Express, so it was very convenient for us travelling from London. The cleaner arrived about 15-20 minutes before checkout. We were in the process of leaving anyway, but that was a little bit awkward.”
“Lovely house very clean and comfortable ! Not cheap but you pay for what you Hey!”
“Beautiful well equipped cozy cottage near Cheddar Gorge and the cathedral city of Wells. Owner and host very welcoming and helpful. Very dog friendly with extra towels, bowls etc”
“Only stayed here for one night, but I would definitely come back. The hosts were wonderfully and really welcoming. Made our stay very comfortable. The room was really cosy. Bed and pillow were firm which was perfect for me. Breakfast the next morning was a nice selection of cheese, fruit, eggs and they provided gluten free bread. 10/15minute drive into bath city centre.”
“I was here for a wedding that was happening at Priston Mill, this was a nice stay for a few nights. The view was beautiful in the morning. The shower is hot and the fridge was full of options (fruit, juice & pâté). If you are coming from A367/ B3115 slow done, it's a sharp left and you can miss it”
“Stayed for three nights with my daughter and two friends at this amazing B & B. Location to the Skywalk, Bath, the University and beautiful countryside was unbeatable. Rooms just perfect, comfy beds, great decor, plenty of room and everything you need for a break from home. The welcome by Rachel and James and the lovely dogs was much appreciated and they could not have done more. Will definitely come back.”
“We had a lovely stay in the double attic room, Bridge house was very welcoming, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fab! Would stay again next time I am in Bath.”
“Excellent B&B! Katherine was so lovely and accommodating. The room was very clean and had many thoughtful amenties including an electric kettle and tea. Breakfast is tasty with a wonderful variety of options to choose from. The B&B is a short walk from the train station and city center. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Bath.”

“Ideal place to stay overnight before flying. Small rooms and bathroom too but clean and comfy. Great service from Wayne, informative and prompt drop-off and collection. Car was safely stored with no issues.”
“Great place beautiful surroundings. Very friendly helpful owner. Home from home.”
“This is a two star hotel with a five-star attitude. The rooms are immaculately appointed en-suite doubles traditionally designed to deliver old-fashioned comfort and ambience. Cleanliness and high standards of maintenance are everywhere. The public areas are warm and welcoming beyond what many other hotels ever achieve; this is a real home from home. The restaurant, bar, and lounge combine a subtle balance of intimacy and homely warmth that affords guests their own choice of personal space or friendly interaction with other guests. The restaurant's generous and varied gourmet menu brings you first-class choices from simple farmhouse trad dinning to four course gourmet feasts that will delight you. The wine menu is a superb selection of fine wines for every occasion which the hosts will be delighted to advise you on if you wish. The heart of The Old Malt House is the delightful family who own and run it. They host their home and their business with dedication that is reflected in every aspect of what they do and you expect. If you value the genuine, old fashioned values of service and hospitality from a family run hotel, you have arrived at the right place. In comparison with similar hotels and restaurants in Bath, the Old Malt House offers you superior value for money, service and quality of life than any other establishment. Don't get stuck in town, step 6 miles South of Bath and experience beautiful, ancient rural Wiltshire first hand.”
“Spacious and well presented accommodation. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.”
“The Priory is local to us & we have thought about booking the restaurant for quite some time, but I find it hard to try new places. We were gifted a voucher for the restaurant last Xmas, so last week we finally used it. We booked via the website & added our usual request for quiet area as ASD. I have to say I was apprehensive, but I was very impressed. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and the staff so friendly. I felt VERY comfortable here, which for a first visit, is high praise indeed! We sat in the panel room, with dark wood panelled walls. As they were quieter on the evening we came, they gave me a choice of table, which I really appreciated! (I would book this table again in the future!) We were looked after by David, & he was great - just the right balance of attentiveness! We chose from the three course set menu and the food was delicious. Hubby had cured smoked duck to start, I had smoked ham hock and jalapeño croquettes - the duck was so tender & the croquettes crispy & melty inside. We both had the pork loin for mains, with triple cooked chips & roasted Jerusalem artichokes to share. Again, we couldn’t fault anything. The pork loin was slightly pink and melted in your mouth, the chips were amazing & the artichokes were gorgeous. A great pairing! Finally we decided on the Orange & Almond cake & the cheese board to finish, which we also shared. Again, perfection! Another point for us is, as real ale drinkers, so often you find that restaurants in hotels skip on the cask ales, but The Priory have their own pale ale as well as one of our favourites - Bath Ales, Gem! Thank you for a lovely evening, our first visit but definitely not our last.”
“Went here after a lovely walk in the Mendips. Pub was very quiet but the staff were lovely and the roast dinner was exceptionally good! Great beer, great food and great location, many thanks to the staff.”
“My son's wedding was here and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. Amazing day, great food and a wonderful venue with a fantastic room for an overnight stay.”
“We first went to the restaurant here and loved the food and atmosphere so much that we came back to get married here! The grounds are amazing and the food is worth more than its 2 AA rosettes. The staff are impeccable and trained to the highest standard. The hotel and rooms are extremely luxurious - we felt like royalty. I'd live here if I could!”
“Great spot to stay in Bath. Clean and very comfortable.”
“The room was excellent. Comfy bed and well appointed. The bathroom was bright and clean. Lots of hot water and well stocked. Location was great, although a bit of a walk from the city center and the bus and train stations.”
“Hosts were extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. Cooked breakfast was second to none, with high quality ingredients. Rooms were clean, spacious, warm. Beds were very comfy. Location only 5 minutes by car to Keynsham train station. Plenty of car parking on site. Relatively quiet, despite being on a main road.”
“Best value for money B and B I have ever been to! I will stay here every time I go to Bristol in the future. Very clean, Wendy and everyone are very friendly and accommodating. one short bus ride right into Bristol city centre. Beautiful rooms.thanks !!”
“Home from home! We stayed at Percy Place for 6 weeks whilst working at the Theatre Royal over Christmas. Simona and her family couldn't have been more welcoming - showing us around and reassuring us they were there should we need them, but otherwise left us to our own devices. The house has everything you could possibly need. Perfect location to walk into town, and free parking!”
