“We held a small family birthday party here. The girls that worked here were very hard working and attentive. The rooms are a good size for a small family gathering. My food was tasty, but a few that ordered the roast beef said it was slightly tough. Free parking spaces were available.”
“Like stepping back to a simpler, nicer time. This is how pubs used to be. You can actually sit at the bar on a stool! Reasonably priced beer and attentive service. If you are just looking for a pint and a nice atmosphere this is the place.”
“Great place to stay! The rooms are freshly renovated and feel brand new. Super comfy bed and a small but cozy bathroom. The pub downstairs, owned by the host, has a great vibe with friendly locals. There are nice restaurants and a spar 2 in the same street. Bus stop right at the door takes you to the old town, or it's an easy 30-minute walk. The host was very responsive and even left us some Easter treats. We highly recommend staying here!”
“First time of staying here, was absolutely spot on, from checking in to checking out. Already booked again, was so impressed! There is a lift to the floors but also a few stairs too, although I was told and offered help. My room was just perfect. Very clean and comfy, bed was a delight. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc. There was a fridge, what a bonus. I didn’t struggle with parking, yes £15 per 24hrs but it is what it is, I’ve paid lots more in Bath and it was a fair distance to walk to my accommodation. I personally didn’t sample any food. A great place to stay - highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned for making my stay so memorable”
“I had the pleasure of staying at Hiding Space Bath UK and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the warm welcome I received from the staff. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the little kitchenette area, which was stocked with all the essentials for making a cup of tea or a light meal. The location of Hiding Space Bath UK is also fantastic - just a short walk from the city center, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. And yet, despite its central location, the room was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making for a great night's sleep. Overall, I can't recommend Hiding Space Bath UK highly enough. Whether you're visiting Bath for business or pleasure, this is the perfect place to stay. Thanks to the team for making my stay so enjoyable!"”
“The apartment was lovely, very tidy, clean and modern! The pint of milk is a nice touch! Would definitely book again”
“Stayed here a couple of times now. Fantastic service from the moment you arrive. Lovely rooms, great pub downstairs with entertainment, good food/drink selection and loads of board games you can take up to your room. Only a 15 min walk into the centre or a 5min taxi ride. Staff were fantastic. Will 100% stay again if we are back in the area.”
“Visited for 1 night and really enjoyed it. Bed was very comfortable, service was great. Parking is £10 per night. Would stay again. We even got a tour of the available rooms which was much appreciated.”
“This apartment exceeded my expectations! From its layout to its elegant decor, it felt like home. Not only it’s beautifully furnished, but the location is unbeatable- just a quick stroll and you’re in heart of the city. Whether I was heading to the Roman Baths or grabbing a coffee, everything was within an easy reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.”
“We stayed for a long weekend in a family room. Clean but a bit dated. Beds were comfy but the double was 4'6! Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and some off road. Bus stop just outside with easy access to Bath. Can walk along the river too but it's quite industrialised so not pretty!”
“Good food worth the value. fast friendly staff. Quick service too.”
“Blown away by the knowledge, empowerment, time and space shared by this idyllic retreat. This programme is packed, and seriously backed up by evidence and the infectious enthusiasm of some extraordinary professionals. There is something new to try for everyone. I don’t hesitate to give Combe Grove 5* and am supporting its even bigger ambitions in the future. A truly unique and inspiring experience - thank you!”
“Lovely old style house just 5 mins walk from the Hop On Bus. Everything was to our expectations. Ideal very tasty home cooked breakfast. Peter was a wonderful host and went out of his way to make us comfortable. We would suggest getting there in the early afternoon for parking options. Our room had magnificent views of the city. Try the local Curry Mahal, great Indian”
“We have just returned from a wonderful weekend spent in Bath. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The whole building is clean, charming and characterful. The food is very tasty and filling. Location is extremely convenient and the staff are lovely. Thank you again we really enjoyed our wedding anniversary time there. I wish you much success in the future.”
“Good size room with a nice seating area, small dining area and a good size kitchen with all the commodities you could expect. Bathroom was nicely done out and the toiletries provided were really nice. The location was perfect. Bath is a small city and this was in a great location for the attractions and for bars and restaurants. We found the soundproofing very good and any noise heard was from other residents within the corridors. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others staying in Bath.”
“I adore the karaoke here every Sunday. The host is amazing and you always get to do most of your songs :) shame I live so far away but it's worth the trip!”
“Yesterday, Sunday 10/08/25, we booked a table for 7 for Sunday family Birthday lunch. Abby and the Swan Inn team were so friendly and accomodating. The Roasts were great, 6 large roasts dinners and one GF Roast for our eldest son. Drinks served at just the right times and the serving staff checking on our requirements. We had our 7 week old Grandson with us and the staff were excellent in their attentive care and we all enjoyed very good deserts afterwards. We are now regulars to The Swan Inn and highly recommend it for family and friends meals. Thanks, The Davey and Lawrence families.”
“Lovely B & B located on a beautiful, centrally located street in Bath. We enjoyed three nights at the Windsor and the highlights were its great location close to the Abbey, shopping and restaurants; the delicious and filling daily breakfasts but, most of all the amazing guest service. The owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us even doing our laundry at no charge! The room was quite comfortable and roomy but in all honesty I do feel the room was dated and in need of some minor upkeep/repair. I also don't feel the accommodation reflected a true 5 star establishment, more a 4 star. That being said, the customer care and genuine welcoming atmosphere we experienced bumped the Windsor up to my 5 star rating.”
“Really clean room very impressed and the staff on front desk went the extra mile to give me directions. The young lad that worked night shift was super helpful very accommodating, would definitely recommend this place.”
“A charming boutique hotel with beautiful interior design, very friendly staff, and spotless rooms. The breakfast team in particular deserves a shout-out - they were exceptional. As a VIP Member, I received early check-in and a complimentary glass of wine, plus 15% off food and beverages. Prices at the hotel are reasonable and the food quality is surprisingly good. Breakfast is served à la carte with a few selection of dishes, and you’re free to mix and match. I ordered Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale during my stay - both were excellent. The only downsides were a broken faucet in the bathroom and the room being located on the lower ground floor (-1). Overall, a great place to stay and a perfect base for exploring Bath. #reviewbyafandi #tripbyafandi”
“Truly fantastic accommodation and in a wonderful peaceful location. Many lovely treats provided for our arrival. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend”
“Stayed here for work for 4 nights for work and such a lovely house with a really friendly inviting owner named Karen. The accommodation had everything we needed for the stay and came with a beautiful garden and a picnic bench to sit at during the hot evenings with a meal and a cold beer. Very handy having 2 bathrooms as I was staying with a colleague and 2 bedrooms too. Karen would wave over in the mornings to say hi and greet us in the evenings. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody from how welcoming the host was during our stay and the consistency from the level of service.”
“I had a lovely visit to Harriet Dicken Racing today. A lovely professional and friendly yard”
“Probably the nicest b&b I've ever been to. Lovely hosts, lovely room and well provisioned. Excellent breakfast as well.”
“Wonderful stay. The apartment has everything you need. The host go over and beyond. Will definitely return.”
“Stayed here in the summer of 2019, and it was truly a magical place—beautiful decor, somehow both cozy and chic, with a wonderful and responsive host, terrific amenities for use and comfort, and fantastic location—across from the Holburne Museum and an easy walk into the center of town. And as an Austen fan, how incredibly special to stay where she had lived. One of my best travel experiences ever; I think of it often and hope to be back soon!”
“Wonderful all round. Super self-catering accommodation in stunning rural surroundings.”
“Fantastic stay the host Rachel made us feel very welcome. The scenery was beautiful & idyllic.. I highly recommended a stay here”
“Owners are welcoming and friendly, ideal location to use as a base on holiday to visit other places or stay close and for country walks. Swan pub is a short drive, serves a variety of real ales and food.”
“My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for 10 nights at the Fox View Guesthouse in July 2023. Ray & Shakun were fantastic hosts (so friendly and welcoming). The room we stayed in was delightful, well presented, bright, had all the amenities & was immaculately maintained and, the view of the Park from our room was amazing (unfortunately we didn't see any foxes during our stay). The adjoining bathroom was similarly immaculately maintained and well presented. The Fox View Guesthouse is perfectly positioned to the Ring Road, local shops, supermarkets, eateries and Bath City Centre is only a short drive away. Thank you Ray and Shakun.”
