“Wow, I can’t give Hugo and his team enough stars. Even with some weather delays they were able to find us a safe place to launch from. Hugo helped coordinate the ride knowing it was a surprise engagement for me and my partner as we were visiting from the states and had limited options to reschedule. The whole process went extremely smooth and even with my fear of heights, I felt safe in that balloon in the sky looking down at the helicopters. “Brilliant experience that was worth the wait. I booked this as a surprise for my fiancée, for the day after I proposed to her. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t right, and we had to postpone our flight. Flash forward 4 months and 2 more weather-thwarted attempts to take flight… and we got our balloon flight over Chew Valley in early October. It was so worth the wait, and the change of location. Chew Valley was absolutely stunning and drifting past Cheddar Gorge was a particular highlight. I was really happy to have Nick as our pilot, he was jolly and friendly, and clearly so experienced. Taking us up to a higher altitude so we could float above the clouds was a truly magical experience that I will never forget. When we landed, the loveliness continued with a toast with champagne or cider, savouring the moment. Would 100% recommend!”

“Kieran arranged our honeymoon for us and I honestly cannot recommend him enough. He took care of everything for us and made the entire process a breeze. I asked him a million and one questions and compared a bunch of resorts and flight options and he was always able to answer them quickly and correctly and we really felt like he got us the best of everything. When we got to the hotel it had been advanced that we were on our honeymoon and the staff had put a few little extras in the room which was a super nice touch. “I went to St Lucia to coach girls and women to play netball. The experience was very rewarding; it was well organised, from pre-arrival advice through to the coordinators in market, and everyone was very caring and obviously passionate about the program and the local people we were working with. Support on the ground was exceptional and I always felt safe and supported. I was given a lot of freedom to design my own drills and I had a lot of fun with the kids. I'm a bit older than the usual volunteers (who were mostly university age) but I still felt welcomed and had fun in the free time activities. The beaches in St Lucia are a dream!”

“I recently did the 8 day Split return with Go Croatia Sail on the Navigator cruise. I literally had zero complaints the entire trip. Hannah and Daphne were the most lovely reps and they really made the trip for me. The Crew on board were equally as amazing and always took us to the most unreal swim spots, and the food was incredible. I really recommend the Korčula wine tasting organised through Go Croatia Sail, as well as seeing Mljet National Park. I was a solo traveller on this boat but it was so easy to make friends and I will 100% be returning in the future!!”

“You will tend to see a lot of amazing Africa and Asia reviews from Wayfairer clients. You're not wrong, they are amazing at that and my previous trip to Vietnam is proof, planned perfectly! But a little closer to home for me (USA) but planned with the same Wayfairer attention to detail was my most recent trip to Scotland. A little bit more freedom of choice since we drove ourselves but the overall plan with accommodations and day to day suggestions of sites and restaurants etc. made it simply the Wayfairer trips you just love. “My 19 year old son joined the Community Experience Placement in Esparza, Costa Rica for 3 weeks in May and really enjoyed his work in the different fields. He taught first aid courses in a school, worked on a construction site and helped out with 3 to 6 year old children. The responsible there is Andy and he is very helpful and has a lot of experience and you always have the feeling the volunteers are in very good hands! My son also really enjoyed having contact with the locals and of course enjoyed the beauty of this fantastic country! After his volunteer program he did a 10 day road trip with his sister through Costa Rica and they loved it!”
