“I’m over from Australia anI can tell you that this is one rippa of a pub.when I fo go in there I am treated as a local and it really is one of those gem local pubs. Great selection of drinks, warm and inclusive atmosphere. All credit to Ant and his staff. If you find yourself in Weston pay this place a visit.”

“Came for the carnival and stayed for the weekend. What can I say about this guest house? WONDERFUL! Gwen, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating. Service with a smile and very attentive. Our room, a triple with ensuite, was lovely. A very bright, airy room, well kept and clean. The ensuite was cosy and very clean. Furnishing was to a high standard, and we had good nights sleep. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked a room for next year!”

“Been here numerous times over the years and seen landlords try to release the potential. Whoever has taken the reins has eventually achieved it. This might just be the best pub in Weston at the moment. Atmosphere and food were amazing but what really made our evening was the bar staff. Attentive and charming young crew, keep it up guys. We'll be back.”

“What a great traditional pub. Warm welcome when I arrived. Group of friends playing skittles. Usual tap beers but no real ales available. Staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Great visit.”

“Blues Bar is a refreshing new place to eat delicious food and enjoy good live music in Weston. I enjoyed my evening there sharing a graze board with friends and listening to the local artist they had performing that night. They also have a good variety of cocktails which we all enjoyed throughout the night. The atmosphere is classy but relaxed and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I also stopped in for a full breakfast, which was amazing.”

“Stopped in the green house for a drink on a rainy day. Super dog friendly and a great place. The hot chocolate was one of the best I've had in a long time (was offered cream and marshmallows too, but not for me). Doggy treats available and the toilets were spotless and smelt a lovely lemon (nice toilets is always a plus for me). Would definitely recommend.”

“Food was amazing! Portion sizes not the biggest but that's not a bad thing as taste and quality excellent. Prices are reasonable and you can always add a side. Plus allows room for starters or pudding! Service and atmosphere friendly and welcoming.”

“Be meaning to pop in for ages , so after the pier brought the kids in because I love anything bbq . I just love smoked meat my two boys had the nuggets and chips kids meal great value coming with drinks the eldest said best chicken nuggets ever and he's the most fussy person I have ever meet. I live for burnt ends pulled pork was great and the sausage , lucky I was parked at the end in a booth and the ribs hands on I was covered in bbq sauce. Staff really friendly and attentive. Lovely clean .”

“went in with my little brother and got water, chocolate cake and iced vanilla matcha. he really enjoyed the cake. matcha was a decent price and worth the value. great balance of matcha and sweetness and was the perfect size. although i don’t think its freshly made. music could’ve been a bit louder but the staff was lovely. place looked clean and wasn’t too crowded.”

“I like this hotel. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and, because I like dogs, I enjoyed seeing loads of them everywhere. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. It’s true that the place is looking a little tired in places but it’s excellent value.”

“Amazing prices, great beers. Very clean and fabulous black sparkly bar surface, generally a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately some of the people using this pub do not appreciate the fantastic value for money as this place is better than even Wetherspoons on beer, lager and cider prices, no one comes close to the Bristol house and yet despite being provided a great space outside with ashtrays to smoke and vape, they chuck their fag ends all over the place and it really is a mess. Staff are very hard working and on the rare occasions some people get loud they control situations well and it always feels safe.”

“I've been to the landing light a lot and its always been a nice experience. They've recently changed some of the menu and the baked camembert is huge! Was a pleasant surprise. Staff are always friendly and the food is very nice with good size portions.”

“Food was lovely. Got the set menu that comes with a dessert so was cheaper overall than buying a dessert separately as desserts were expensive on their own. Pork medallions were lovely, decent portion and the potatoes were cheesy and lovely too. Dessert (chocolate mousse) was absolutely delicious, highly recommend this. It's a safe place to go if you have a peanut allergy, the mousse specifically is peanut allergen-safe. Lovely view of the beach as they sat us next to the window. Would come again.”

“Came down for weekend with my 11 Yr old daughter, my adult son and some elderly friends. We were made to feel very welcome, atmosphere was great, staff were brill. Can't find single fault. Food from van outside was lush and great value. We will be back.”
