“Attended a party in the large function room upstairs. It was clean, spacious and welcoming. No wheelchair access upstairs, but it does have a bar with a few basic drinks. More drinks available downstairs.”

“We were an hour late to our reservation due to traffic and we spoke to the restaurant over the phone and they kindly held our table. The decor and ambience in the restaurant was so lovely and it had a real homely feel with traditional Christmas trees and decorations. The meal we had was delicious and so fresh and the service was excellent also. We would strongly recommend The Maltsters Hotel and we will definitely be back.”

“Me and my family had a lovely visit to the newly refurbished Captains Wife! The food, service and ambiance was all perfect! I would definitely recommend! The roast potatoes were beautifully cooked, I went for the trio and all the meat was so succulent and tasteful! We will definitely be back! Leanne served us and she made us feel so comfortable and made a great fuss of our young daughters! Well done Sam and team we are very impressed and will definitely be back soon! Thank you again!”

“Amazing prices, great beers. Very clean and fabulous black sparkly bar surface, generally a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately some of the people using this pub do not appreciate the fantastic value for money as this place is better than even Wetherspoons on beer, lager and cider prices, no one comes close to the Bristol house and yet despite being provided a great space outside with ashtrays to smoke and vape, they chuck their fag ends all over the place and it really is a mess. Staff are very hard working and on the rare occasions some people get loud they control situations well and it always feels safe.”

“We are really impressed by the professionalism and continued excellent communication with New Broad Street Motors. The car we bought was really well prepared and in excellent condition. When we went to view, there was no hard sell (which we deplore) just friendly staff and good advice. Niall , our sales assistant, kept us fully informed during the sales to pick up process. The other assistant also gave us impartial important advice on GAP insurance. We would definitely recommend this car sales dealer. 5 star.”

The young people inside this real ale pub were loud, but all in hood fun Music not to my taste /I'm and I visited old foagie like/ This pub served 3 great real ales picture posted on pubs website. I was very impressed by this pubs beers And atmosphere. This is a place I am very impressed with. Saturday 15th February 2025 This pub is a very good real ale pub tonight it had 3 great hand pumped RHYMNEY BREWERY real ales on see picture on dite and the locals vety pleasent and yhe pub a goodvlocals pub. “Took my Nan for a birthday meal here, which unfortunately had a lot of no shows. The staff were so lovely and kind, they really turned the day around for her and went above and beyond. I'm extremely grateful to all working yesterday. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, I'd come back for the roast potatoes alone. Food was quick to be served and a lovely atmosphere as always. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you all!”

The table was fab unfortunately a few of out people were ill but the main thing is they had paid for their tickets so the charity still had a bit of money from them and I got to eat more Sweets. “Very trendy Angeles good bar/pub. Nice selection of beers and spirits. Very popular with locals. Evenings offer live music and on weekends you need to pay to get in. Staff is polite and professional. I would recommend a visit as it has been on Cardiff scene for a while now.”

“I've ended several nights at Kapu and always had a good time, but my experience tonight really took it to another level when a friend had a medical emergency. The manager and staff were incredibly compassionate, checking in regularly and making sure we had everything we needed while being discreet and respectful. “Started adult tap classes with Allora Dance a year ago. I was nervous about starting back after not dancing for a good few years. Jess made the classes welcoming and I've been loving being back into dance and even started the ballet as well. Jess has been helpful and assisted me through difficulties I experience due to underlying health issues and always made me feel able to partake to the best of my ability. My niece has even started children's classes and is loving it. Thanks Jess for bringing dance back into my life. If you're considering it just go for it.”
