“Lovely hotel over looking the river Severn, the staff are welcoming and we even got offered a lift to the station from the owner. We stayed here as was far cheaper than Cardiff with Ed Sheeran in concert on and only a 15 minute train trip to the city centre. Yes we would definitely stay here again.”

“The best chip shop in South Wales. The chip are like what you expect at the sea side & as for the fish, well it tastes like the ocean and as fresh as the day (real genuine cod, not some random white fish palmed off as cod). If you go there, definitely get the onion rings, they are like nothing you have eaten before and so crisp, they also got good selection of curry sauces which are great. The staff are absolute gentlemen. The only downside side is that they don't open on a Sunday! They also have a 5 Food Standards rating, and the place is spotless.”

These were proper chip shop chips: thick, golden, fresh out of the fryer and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and actually seasoned. You could taste the difference straight away — no frozen nonsense, just real chips made with care. It’s exactly what you want when you’re by the sea: a simple tray of hot, satisfying chips that actually feel worth it. “I've found an absolute gem .I've eaten breakfasts from Aberdeen to aberdare and this is one of the nicest breakfasts I've eaten.on the main road in sully this restaurant is suprisingly quiet at breakfast as they've only just started...this is going to change..DELICIOUS.lovely welcoming staff treat you like friends.decorated with cotswold stone cladding and roof beams and wheat hops feels so cosy..couldn't believe the price too.great price.I can't believe the mums and dads from the nearby school run haven't heard they do breakfasts here (yet).”

We sat in the corner and were greeted by a lovely young man Ben..Natalie the Manager served us and was very upbeat and accomadting to our kids and servixe was fantastic. “We had a lovely breakfast at this local pub this morning after searching for somewhere dog friendly, and it was fantastic! They had great options for both veggie and vegan breakfasts, all cooked beautifully. The food was hot, not greasy, and prepared with care. Prices were excellent, and the service was just as wonderful – friendly, happy, and welcoming. A perfect start to the day, and we’ll definitely be back”
