βWent yesterday 28/03/25 and saw the new vet with my GSD Raya. Iv kept dogs since I was 18 so numerous vets visits and the lady I saw yesterday was by far the best kindest most knowledgeable and enthusiastic vet I have ever seen. She was new to the practice but didn't get her name I'm just so thankful that I feel I have left with understanding and correct treatment plans rather than popping pills and hoping for the best until another ear infection. Thank u so much and Oxford vets she's a keeper!!! βΊοΈβΊοΈβ
βTook our dog for annual boosters, they gave her a check and she was fine. I recommend the monthly plan for checkups and boostersβ
βAlways a friendly person on reception, and a calm environment. Helpful and informative and explains things to me in language I can understand (no medical jargon). My cat Loki is scared to be there, as I'm sure all pets are at the vets, but the vets are always gentle and allow him to explore the room a little. Don't have pics of the vets, but you can have pics of my boy instead, lol.β
βA very emotional day losing lovely rocky but such a caring vet and staff so kind thank you for all your kind words and for helping dear rocky .β
βJust switched vets and already I couldnβt be happier. From the first phone call to the visit the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful. We feel very lucky to have joined this team of lovely people.β
βI was delighted to have the lovely Dani as the vet to see my Ruelle, she was wonderful and was so kind with my boy .She checked all his vital signs and I felt safety in her knowledge and treatment for him .Thankyou so much Dani for taking care of both our needs today .Excellent...β
βFriendly and dedicated staff, who really care for the animalsβ
βTook our Westie pup for registration check up. As first time owners in our family (though parents have dogs) we were not sure what to expect. The team were very welcoming and friendly. Our vet Rachel was super knowledgable and thorough, and gave us great advice. Iβm sure weβll have many more good things to say over the coming years.β
βA very welcoming and engaging Veterinary practice. Staff always helpful and accomodating where and when they can. They go over and above alwaysβ
βThank you everyone at Vale in Newport. Always care for our Winnie amazingly. Very friendly and no hidden costs. The VIP scheme they have for dogs certainly pays for itself and saves you money.β
βLovely staff, treated me and my two kittens fantastic. The vet himself was very informative, offering loads of helpful info whilst treating my two with absolute care. I would highly recommend.β
βI can't thank the staff here enough. We called in desperate need of an urgent appointment for our 8 month old french bulldog Martha-May. The reception staff were extremely helpful and very kindly booked us in straight away. From start to finish, the veterinary team was extremely attentive to Martha-May and could not do enough for her and us. All staff provided a professional and friendly service. We can not recommend the PDSA enough, and I would kindly ask for people to donate any old blankets or towels you may have as they are always in need of these items. Once again, thank you to all the staff of the PDSA cardiff.β
βThis was our 1st time of going here with our new puppy. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by really lovely friendly staff, who went out of their way for us, to make us & our puppy feel welcome & at ease. The vet was really nice. She explained everything to us & answered any questions we had. She was so good with our puppy. She put us all at ease practically straight away. We're even now going to be taking our older dog here as well. We would definitely recommend them to anyone & everyone, for all your pet needs. You won't be disappointed. We cannot praise them enough.β
βWe had what turned out to be a bit of an emergency the other day. The vets handled it perfectly and probably saved our dog's life. Always good service here. Thank you β€οΈβ
βIβve used this practice before for emergency out of hours treatment and they have always been wonderful. Two years ago they saved my cats life and Iβm forever grateful to them. Two days ago I had to rush my boy back in at night there and sadly he didnβt make it. My partner and I were deeply traumatised but the staff were all brilliant, kind, compassionate and caring. I couldnβt have asked for better people around me during this very difficult time. From the receptionist to the assistant vet nurses and special mention to head vet Jon, thank you sincerely for making one of lifeβs difficult moments easier to bear because of your care and thoughtfulness. Thank you to nurse Liane for taking paw prints and fur of my boy so I can remember him. Please continue your exceptional care and genuine love of animals so other pet parents in similar circumstances also feel so cared for.β
βAbsolutely lovely vets! Treated my puppy like a baby! Excellent service and very kind! Thanksβ
βWe got an emergency appointment on a Saturday after not long moving to the area when other local vets had turned us away. The vet was really good with our dog and the staff were very friendly and helpful.β
βI absolutely love sue the receptionist she will do her up most best to help me and my pooch.β
βIβve been using St David vets for over 20 years and my pets have always received excellent care from the vets and nurses. The admin staff are excellent too!β
βIvor was poorly a few months ago and Cerys put him back on track ...Cerys had updates on Ivor every other day which in my eyes was an excellent caring service which both myself and Ivor are very thankful forβ
βAll the staff here are so friendly and helpful, weβre always put at ease and feel listened to. The reception staff always seem pleased to see us and are kind and warm with us even when our dogs are behaving less than perfectly. The clinician I have seen has always taken the time to listen to concerns and explain things clearly as well as offer advice.β
βVisited Shepherds to have my 18+ cat euthanized. Was directed to sideroom as I was upset.Cerys, the nurse took details and she deserves 15 out of 10 for her empathy, reassurance and kindness.Lowri the vet was lovely too and administered drug and Milly passed peacefully and I held her and said my goodbyes.β
βI am so very sad to see this wonderful practice close. Since 2017 they have cared for my dogs in such a professional, kind and caring manner. Marj Edwards in particular has treated some of mine with homeopathy alongside conventional medicine, actually allowing my whippet, Rupert, to enjoy eleven comfortable months following a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2017. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Marj and also to Rhian who was so kind when I had to make the decision to have my greyhound, Wilson, put to sleep only four days after he became ill so suddenly. Of course I hope more than anything to see the practice reopen and will return immediately. However Marj Edwards will be a hard act to follow. Thank you Marj for seven years of outstanding veterinary care. Thank you too from my current two, Guinness and Adrian.β
βMy dog broke his leg a couple of months ago & the whole team from the very start have been amazing. A big thank you to the Nurses, Vets & Receptionists for their care. Wouldn't go anywhere else!β
βWe have used Park Vets for the past 25+ years and always found them excellent. Over the last nine months our dog Harry who was 15 under went an operation on his neck. It was a great success and he bounced out of it, with a new lease of life. Sadly he was taken ill in July and it was decided he would have teeth out. Following tests it was found he was a very poorly boy. We made the sad decision for him to be put to sleep. Through all of this the practise were excellent, in particular Michaela made this sad process easier to bear. All staff were so lovely and supportive. I would recommend them to everyone.β
βBrought our 2 new puppies here for their second vaccinations. All staff we encountered were so lovely, the vet was great with them, and the appointment went without a hitch. Not only is it close to where we live, so that is great, they do a healthcare plan too. 10/10 recommend to everyone. :-)β
βLovely vets, made my little girl feel so comfortable she gets excited to go now! Update: I got my dog spayed here, and I cannot thank the lovely lady who discharged her enough. When dropping her off in the morning, she explained everything I needed to know. When I picked her up she went through everything, answered all the questions I had, and didnβt make me feel silly for being emotional. My little dog is my whole world, and after some previous dogs of mine had bad experiences with the vets they went to I was very nervous about this process. The staff here are wonderful, and I wouldnβt dream of taking her anywhere else. Thank you all for looking after my little Gwenllian β₯οΈβ
