βVery lovely cafe and friendly cashier. She explains clearly the menu. The honey comb lattee is amazing. The carot cake is over my expectation! Will try banana chocolate loaf next timeβ
βI stayed in room number 5, it was a perfect size, has everything I needed and was very comfy. There was lots of pubs and shops nearby and loads of places to eat. The owner was lovelly and very helpful, not that I needed much help but she was easy to contact and my stay for 3 nights was very nice. Highly recommendedβ
βFantastic little corner shop. Has so much stuff, is ever so handy and the owners are truly delightful people that are a pleasure to chat to whenever we go in.β
βKarolina made exceptional coffees and her Service with a smile made the difference in the day. Well done. Keep it up.β
βVery reasonable drink prices. Lots to do as well, 2 pool tables and a dartboard. The Landlord Adam was a breath of fresh air.β
βGreat food, fairly priced, not greasy have used for years and will continue to do soβ
βBrilliant authentic food! Ordered the veg Kotthu meal deal which came with a drink and two vegetable rolls. Very reasonable price for the large portion size. Food came piping hot, the rolls were very crispy. Great Sri Lankan food, hope to try new dishes in the future. Lovely attentive staff.β
βAmazing fish and chips and one of the best battered sausages Iβve ever had. Start off with the fish, fresh Grimsby fish so soft and tender melts in your mouth with a light thin crispy batter which doesnβt stick to the paper either! Next the chips are probably the best chippy chips Iβve had on a consistent level, they burn my fingers upon first touch and the steam thatβs built up inside just makes the chips almost break into mash, lovely and soft every single time! Now the battered sausages, 90% of the time have been wonderfully crisp on the outside and steaming hot on inside, very good quality proper pork chippy sausage. Lastly forgot to mention itβs probably around 20% cheaper then most high street chippies, Β£2 battered sausages, Β£5 massive huge enough to feed 7 easy large chips(around 8 scoops) and Β£7 for the extra large haddock or cod. Forgot to mention the very authentic chippy curry sauce made to absolute perfection 100% of the time!Β£1.40 for a large! This place is a little gem Iβd travel 20+ miles for this everytime itβs bang on! Thanks guys - Nickβ
βFirst time here for me and my husband, moving into the area, so thank goodness for this great Indian restaurant, the experience was so friendly and warm from the owner and staff, and the food was perfect.β
βA very nice and clean place with friendly staff. The food was really nice and worth the money too! Recommended to hangout and have a bite or a mealβ
βBest Sri Lankan food I've tried . Very generous portions. And everything cooked so fresh .β
βI often order at this shop and they make the best pizzas in Coventry at affordable prices! Very friendly staff and fast service too! Would definitely recommend !β
βWe stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)β
βAbsolutely Fantastic We had Sunday Dinner for my brotherβs 27th birthday there was 15 of us in total but we had no issues with food all came out together warm and on time. lovely food..all staff were excellent.β
βHad a wonderful stay thank you for a wonderful weekend away. Lovely clean rooms too. And our bed was so comfy, didnβt want to come homeβ
βAbsolutely phenomenal food! Fantastic, friendly staff and very good value for money! If you like this cuisine, donβt go anywhere elseβ
βThe staff is very nice and friendly and best place for indian productsβ
βFantastic place for drinks and food. Needed a new place to go for a drink after I've visited every pub and restaurants in Coventry. I drove from Cov to Rugby and I bet, I wasn't disappointed. Great setting, large space, fantastic staff, and great meal. Oh, and the streetside view is marvellous. I will be ungrateful not to mention the spacious car park they've got. I highly recommend this pub.β
βThe Premier Plus room was amazing. Large, it was well furnished, well lit yet calm, in tones of grey, with purple up lights above bed head and fulsome full length curtains at the long window. The bed was very large, extremely comfortable and had lovely white bedding. Hanging cupboard with full length mirror on the face. Alongside there is a lighted vanity mirror, hairdryer in a holder. Great for doing hair and makeup. Great desk, office chair. Table lamp and real coffee maker and kettle for tea. Wing easy chair with footstool to relax in watching wall TV. Rain and standard shower in the roomy bathroom. All very clean. Spotless. Staff were excellent. Very welcoming and very helpful. Security locks on doors to access corridors to rooms. Good choice of cooked breakfast is served in adjacent stylish Bar+Block Steakhouse. I also had lunch there... delicious perfectly cooked rump steak and chips with salad. Again staff in here were very welcoming. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money too. You can be really comfortable here, located in the town centre, and with parking 5 minutes walk away, round the corner in multi story car park.β
βWell firstly, thanks to you all for your swift service. Thank you to Lucy as well for her service and for looking after us. The food was great from starter to dessert. The presentations were a 10/10 and the food was full of flavour. The only thing that wasnβt good was the lamb from the kebab dish for the main course, but that is neither here nor there, but you replaced it swiftly with a chicken skewer, so thank you and we all appreciate for all you did for us today. The music was amazing, I was singing along to it so we were all comfortable. Thanks again and I do recommend this restaurant to others. But the main thing is I would love to come again!β
βLovely stay at the Swanβs nest hotel in Stratford upon Avon. Made a booking for dinner at this lovely restaurant because it seemed very busy at Sunday lunch- they are offering a good deal at the restaurant (30% off) at the moment. However, our evening there was quiet and relaxed. Service was friendly and efficient. We had the chorizo which was well cooked and tasty. The prawns were buttery and delicious. My chicken Normandy was good albeit I am pretty sure that it was cabbage and peaches rather than cavolo nero and apple! (no complaints!!). Husbandβs salmon ProvenΓ§ale was nice and flaky with a delicious sauce. Camden pale ale to wash it down. We also had a full English breakfast the next morning which could have been better: husbandβs danish didnβt seem fresh although my croissant was great. Sausages and baked beans were ho hum. My poached eggs , husbandβs scrambled eggs (he likes it rather dry) and the bacon were good. We did go to the Bear pub in the afternoon- nice barman and good place to chill.β
βWas served today by James who was so friendly and funny! Had a brilliant time. He helped me make up my mind with my food choices and I have to say it was lovely! Definitely returning!!!!β
β5 Stars β Outstanding Service and Delicious Food! We had a fantastic evening at Bar + Block in Leamington Spa, made even better by our lovely waitress, Gemma. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were looked after with a smile the whole time. The food was absolutely amazing β cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Weβll definitely be coming back, and hope Gemma is there to serve us again. Highly recommend!β
βi cannot love this place enough. I lost my passport and they were so helpful and managed to get it back to me and even dropped it off to my house. Above and beyond. I LOVE IT XXXXXβ
βStaff friendly and very helpful food fantastic place very cleanβ
βVery nice hotel, unfortunate that it was raining when we went there but the beer garden looked very pretty. Food was excellent, servers and reception staff were both friendly and helpful, and the proximity to the bus that goes straight to NEC and the airport was very convenient. My only complaint would be that for some reason theres no towel rails in the bathroom, so you have to leave your towels on the toilet seat or some other inconvenient spot. Not annoying enough to dock them a star tho, so 5 stars.β
βMy best drive through, sit in. Handy with it being just me the main road. Since it's opening day I have visited the clean, tidy, happy little place. It might not be Starbucks but the staff make your stay very welcome.β
βI bought from this store on amazon and it requires roughly at least Β£35 or more. All the meat, pepper, onions, lettuce and other items which was delivered was high standards. I love the breads and pastries my mum used to get it for the guests when the Limes hotel was running, the pastries had filling in them, the egg custard tart is also nice, bread is soft and can be broken easily, the pittas are useful for curries and nan bread. The fish section is also there with fresh fish, i am not so knowledgable about this section. The fruit section however i am knowledgable about, has sweet and tangy grapes, stingy kiwis and strawberries just the way i like them for a great price. The fruit taste is not light it is stingy. My favourite by far the pineapple, needs to be stocked up. The youghurt section i also have knowledge of, it has some thick and thoroughly fruity flavours, another win for fruit it is a part of youghurts!! The sauces section i am also know has korma, tikka, sweet n sour, blavk bean and other sauces to add to curries, also mint sauce and apple are very relaxing to have along with a meal. All foods have nutritional labels on them and also fairness farm labels like red factory trust, grass fed animal on labels. Overall for the fairness, food quality and amount of food stock the people who work and contribute to morrisons should be very proud of themselves.β
βVery tasty, nourishing & fresh range of sandwiches, deserts and drinks available to buy from Waitrose, the perfect pit stop on our motorway journey!β
βWe tried the Seragasamba Mutton and Chicken Biriyani today and honestly, it was out of this world! Still hunting through the Oxford dictionary to find the right words to describe how amazing it was. The flavors were so authentic, finger-licking good β exactly like the way we eat back home in India. The vibe is something else β it doesnβt feel like a restaurant at all, but more like being served food at home with so much love. Mrs. Jaya, the boss lady, is just incredible β warm, kind, and full of heart. You can feel the care in every dish. If you want real, soulful food with a homely touch, this is the place. Truly loved it!β
