“I took my very anxious rescue dog for his boosters and discussed how anxious he is. The vet was very good with him and is working hard with us both to help him with his anxiety. Nice friendly service.”
“Unfortunately, it's not the best time to review as our cat was very ill at the time of my visit. Very accommodating staff at the front desk and the vet was lovely too. Our cat was so ill that we had to put her to sleep. The vet and staff were very respectful. We had taken KitKat to the right place for the best help she could receive.”
“Our Norfolk terrier had a suspected UTI and, realising she needed emergency treatment, we took her to Wellesbourne in time for the surgery to open. No appointment could be made as the phone wasn't answered by the surgery until our ETA - although I tried to call ahead of our arrival and got the emergency practice. The receptionist explained that the phone would be switched over in 5 minutes - after our ETA. The Reception nurse understood immediately and said we’d be slotted in between the next 2 appointments. We were seen 12 minutes later, my diagnosis confirmed after a thorough investigation and reassurance that the medication would cure the problem. It started to work after the first antibiotics were administered. One happy little dog and relieved and very grateful owners. Exemplary service.”
“The staff here were so kind to me, ordering a taxi. The place was very well run, clean and obviously great care is given to all animals brought in for attention and professional care.”
“Excellent independent vets lovely staff. Two years ago after serious accident they dipped into a special fund they have and removed one of my spaniels back legs the following day free of charge saving me 3 1/2 k. Thoroughly recommend.”
“I changed to Medivet/Feldon's at Coventry Road after taking my mum's dog to an appointment and being impressed with their reception staff and vet. The changeover was very easy and they arranged an appointment on the same day as my cat was poorly. The previous vet I was registered to had poor access to appointments in comparison. So far I've been very happy with my experience.”
“I quickly got an appointment when it suited me and my pet and great care was shown, understanding of what was needed and the best course of treatment.”
“Can't rate Avonvale highly enough. They have always been brilliant with all my animals, and since having my American bully, they have been nothing short of amazing. Always make him welcome and treat him like a king. They are reasonably priced aswel, and let's face it every penny counts nowadays.”
“From the vets to the nurses to the reception staff everyone is so friendly and helpful. It can be a worrying time taking your pet to the vets but the staff are so reassuring and explain everything before any procedure goes ahead. Molly is always greeted by her name on arrival and actually pulls on her lead to go in as she knows she gets a treat. Molly has regular monthly injections for allergies and has had two very successful crutiate surgeries on her hind legs. Avonvale check her regularly and I couldn’t be happier with the service we receive”
“Excellent place.. Always feel that my pets are well looked after. Lovely staff and pleasant environment.. Definitely recommend this vets.”

“Absolutely fantastic service allowing for the meeting of my own needs as a woman experiencing disabilities. Thank you PDSA Coventry, from Kaia & Helen”
“My Boo had to be put to sleep in May. The staff were amazing In July I got a 'Sorry for your loss' card with cuttings of her fur..I was not expecting this so this Team go out of their way to express condolences. 10 out of ten. Made me smile and cry all at once and memories of Boo are always with me”
“I attended VETS Now emergency clinic in Coventry on Saturday afternoon with my kitten who was vomiting + hadn't eaten for 2 days, on the advice of a vet I consulted prior to going. It was stressful as I was on my own + my kitten was in obvious distress. The reception staff were lovely + engaged with me from the out set. I had to wait about 20 mins to see a vet but when I did she immediately explained the situation + was very mindful of the stressful situation I was in +, more importantly, the cost of the visit, so wasn't about to offer any treatment not needed at that point, which I found extremely refreshing. She treated my kitten after a thorough examination + explain what to expect in the following days + how to go forward . I was very reassured + my kitten improved almost immediately. The only downside is the cost of the whole experience. To just walk through the door is over £300, ( I was advised of this before going). However, as my insurance company cap the emergency cost at £200 I am now out of pocket by over £100, which just adds to the stress of it all. I know that is down to my insurance company's policy but I am guessing it's the same with most insurance companies. No one attends an emergency clinic if they don't have to, + not all people have insurance etc. I, personally, don't know how they arrive at the £300 plus fee but it would be nice if it could be brought down to a little closer to the amount most insurance companies accept + pay.”
“Recently moved to the area, and I can honestly say this is the most friendliest and helpful GPs I've ever been to. The receptionists are approachable and polite, both in-person and on the phone, and every single member of staff I've had an appointment with has been lovely, kind and supportive. Have had an appointment made every time I've called, and whilst there has been a queue, I've never been made to feel like they're rushing me to get through their callers. Very happy with this service!”
“I lost my best friend, Tommy, 4 days ago. We couldn’t have chosen a more compassionate, calm, understanding, lovely team of people to deal so delicately with his passing. The final product is beautifully arranged, done with the highest quality - more than befitting for the deep loss we feel, which is immeasurable. We simply cannot recommend them enough. And thank you again Jon and Mandy for your kindness during this painful time. Matt & Ebony x”
“I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. The vets and staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for. I’m so grateful for their patience and genuine love for animals. I highly recommend them!” Especially Raymond”
“My appointment was with Vetenerian Connor Day twice who has been absolutely brillant during the appointment with my kitten misha. Explains everything thoroughly and in detail… doesnt rush the appointment ( i have been to other vets where they are very time limited and its been very rushed and want you out the door as soon as possible). Thank you for seeing Misha and helping her to the best of your ability. Excellent vets- 10/10. All Staff including the receptionists are very friendly and have a genuine care and love for the animals.”
“We would highly recommend Emscote vets as they offer an extremely personal and caring service. The reception staff are so welcoming and the vets, in particular, Charlotte is wonderful. An excellent practice x”
“This review is for Rugby, Hillmorton. Always easy to get an appointment. Staff always professional and polite. Since we moved here nearly 1 year ago my cat has needed to see the vet 3 times for various issues. She's been very well looked after and the vets have always been able to figure out what's wrong. Thank you.”
“Fantastic, staff are brilliant and compassionate. Our regular vet is Georgina, who is an angel and amazing. Not sure why it is not promoted more but she also conducts acupuncture, our 17 year old cat is benefiting so much from this and Georgina has been extremely caring towards her, unlike some other vets we have experienced. Besides Georgina, the rest of the staff are also lovely. We are so pleased to have found this veterinary practice.”
“The vet put my dog completely at ease. She gave her a thorough examination. My dog is quite elderly with a few joint issues. The options available to me were explained clearly.”
“Used them for 8 years , always fantastic with my dogs and very friendly and helpful.”
“I can’t recommend Ark Vets highly enough. They’ve been wonderful looking after my elderly dog, so kind, gentle, and genuinely caring. While I was waiting for my dog’s prescription, the vet actually came out personally to tell me that the medication was available online at a cheaper price. It’s rare to find that kind of honesty and thoughtfulness these days! It’s clear they truly put the wellbeing of both pets and owners first, not profit. Excellent service, friendly team, and absolute peace of mind knowing my dog is in such good hands. Thank you, Ark Vets!”
“My first pet, a cat, didn't live very long. The vet and entire team were very lovely in how they dealt with him. The vet was very comforting to me and Popcorn when he had to put him down.”
“Absolutely Fantastic service, really friendly and helpful staff throughout the store. Brought my cat in today and 15 week old Teacup chihuahua, extremely professional, would definitely recommend this store.”
“Took care of my cat when it was necessary. Staff are amazing and waiting times are next to nothing. Affordable services and a great range of treatments and procedures for a wide variety of animals. Has it's own car park at the rear and a few emergency spots at the front. As far as vets go, these guys have really made a great effort.”
“I can’t thank this veterinary practice enough for the incredible care they give to my little Teddy, who is blind, diabetic, and has a foot allergy. The kindness and dedication shown by the whole team are beyond words. A special thank you to Laura, who goes above and beyond — opening the practice early to meet us and spending the day gently cleaning, swabbing, and tidying Teddy’s paws to keep his infection under control. The love and patience she shows him are simply outstanding. Teddy absolutely adores her and looks forward to spending the day with her ❤️ And to Lilly, the best vet ever — thank you for your expert care, compassion, and reassurance. When you love your pet so much, it means the world to know you can trust and rely on your vet completely. Thank you to all of you for everything you do — you truly are the best. xx”
“Great welcome for new puppy, so relaxed he fell asleep in the clean and welcoming Reception area where both Receptionists fussed him and assisted me with paperwork. New Vet Alice was relaxed, gentle and listened well to our needs and proffered superb advice. Bilbo is 8 months old and has had the same great personal medical support as before for previous pets. Newer puppy 5 months Merry, both from The Shire, are individually known by ALL staff.”
