“Absolutely amazing restaurant, amazing food and by far fair prices. The staff here are so accepting of all people. The staff that work here in my eyes are so accepting of all race's and cultures. Never experienced a time here as to where I haven’t left the restaurant with a full stomach and huge smile on my face. Would recommend this place to anybody.”
“Kel is an amazing artist!! Great quality tattoos at good prices. She kept me calm throughout and I love her work!”
“What an amazing pool! We booked online, and as we entered the lifeguard was super friendly and explained to us about the pool and asked if we had been before, and was clearly so enthusiastic about how nice it was - she wasn't wrong! The spring fed water is lovely and fresh, plus it's 36.5m long so feels like a good length between ends. We were informed we needed a swimming cap to swim, but the lifeguard was more than happy to lend us some for our session. £10 is a super reasonable price for the grounds and the quality of the pool and unique spring fed water. I'll be back!”
“Bath looks very luxury in our new bathroom”
“I was bought a Renew and Revitalise package as a birthday gift. After reading the reviews I was concerned about what to expect and whether it would be open. Upon arrival everyone was very friendly and we were shown around the spa facilities. The hot tub was clean and wonderfully warm despite being in the open air. The sauna had been rearranged and tidied up from the photos I had seen on a review and the steam room definitely had plenty of steam. We both chose a facial which was out of this world, so relaxing I would definitely recommend it. The ladies explained the treatment and were very professional. We were lucky to choose a day when there were two of them on so were able to have the treatment side by side. Everywhere in the Spa area was very clean. We didn’t venture into the outdoor pool but it looked great. We then had an afternoon tea with plenty of tea and coffee. The staff were very friendly and attentive and provided a box to take home what we couldn’t eat. They presented me with a small birthday cake treat which was a lovely gesture. All in all a wonderful birthday treat.”
“Probably the best dine in Chinese around swadlincote, Burton and Coalville. The food is delicious but more expensive than your typical take away. We have been coming here with family, friends and work colleagues. Some work colleagues are from China when they visit and always want to come back here because of how nice and authentic the food is. I would always recommend to book a table if you dont want to be disappointed. The inside is nice but when busy always feels a little cramped at times. There's more tables for larger groups up stairs too. Would highly recommend it if you wanted a dine in Chinese.”
“Love this shop. The windows always look amazing.”
“Great experience to be guided through these caves. Our guide was very knowledgeable and comical throughout making the whole experience very enjoyable. Lots of steps though so not ideal for anyone with mobility problems, but there's plenty of notices around to warn you of this. There's time to take photos too. Highly recommend this tour.”
“The welcome we got was superb the specials were explained very clearly. The food was excellent and presented very well. We will definitely be back even though they are an hour and a half away from our house. Oh and they are most definitely OPEN”
“Great food at this pub and relaxed service just sit down like a normal pub and go order at bar. Monday to wednesday they have two pizzas for £20 in the evening and they are really fantastic pizzas good crisp base very good sauce also very good pepperoni. Crispy chilli beef was great with huge helping of beef and the satay curry was super! With lots of fresh veg and even had bonito flakes on the rice. Also, puddings were generous portions, really nice but we could have shared one. Could have come here for the whole holiday with how much variety they have on the menu.”
“We had exclusive hire and hosted our wedding party here. We had the best weekend! The communal space was great, the rooms were clean and tidy and the grounds were beautiful. The doors open onto the patio area and so the space flowed really well. The hostel staff were great at communicating and answering our many questions in the months before. Lots of great walks nearby and it felt very secluded. Cannot recommend this place enough!”
“I have today visited Ashby Jewellers to have three family watches fitted with new batteries. Following a recent visit to get a battery fitted for my father, and having received very good service I decided to return. Yet again I have to say that the service I received was excellent and the price for the work was competitive. I would totally recommend them and I will myself use them again. Adam and his staff are friendly, professional and knowledgable and we should support local independent business.”
“kev is absolutely brilliant geeza kebab was spot on couldn't ask any better lovely clean facilities nice clean restaurant spot on big up kev hes also got a solid trim”
“Fantastic service from start to finish. Great communication being kept up to date. Made our holiday so much more enjoyable, not having to worry about all the details. Thank you.”
“Really nice place if you have a lot of people to put up. Comfortable sized rooms, lots of space to hang out, good kitchen and dining room. Nice and close to Matlock bath and Cromford.”
“Carmel is brilliant loved how she styled my hair and a great cut.”
“Great little cafe, the cheese scone was so delicious! Cheese toastie from the kids menu was good and a big portion! Decent coffee, polite staff and lovely decor.”
“Conkers is an absolute gem for family outings! We had an amazing day exploring the beautiful woodlands, exciting rope courses, and interactive indoor exhibits. The mix of outdoor activities and indoor learning makes it perfect for all ages. Our kids loved the 4D cinema and the adventure playground, while we enjoyed the scenic walks and relaxing by the lake. The staff were friendly, and the park was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend for a full day of fun, fresh air, and family bonding! Can’t wait to visit again.”
“A brilliant family day out. Free parking is available and just a short wait for the gates to open. There is something to do for all ages here, visited with two children ages 12 and 15 and enjoyed by both. This park is great for those who don't like massive rollacoasters or queuing for hours to get on a ride. The queues were all short, or we were straight on. The climbing wall and the rope swing were the only two attractions that had a bigger queue or wait time. Various food and drink outlets dotted around. We chose to have a pizza, which was nicely done. Old classics like the log flume, river rapids, pirate ship and high wire seats were enjoyed by all. Photos for the log flume are reasonable prices, the pottery craft painting was only £5, and there is a gift shop at the exit to buy a keepsake or gift. Whether you've got a little one or older one there's definitely something for everyone. £65 family ticket offer for a family of 5 was great value for the amount of things to do. We would visit again.”
