“From just looking at the menu the food seems really basic and overpriced and I do find it difficult to justify spending £9.95 on lunch (with the small portion option) but while the ingredients are simple the portion you get for small is filling and as they say the ingredients truly are fresh and delicious. My favourites were the daal and hot potatoes. The main protein I had, chicken breast, seemed bland at first glance but actually tasted very good. Unfortunately I forgot to take additional pictures below the top layer. I think I'd only get this for lunch on special occasions but I think I would get the better value medium for dinner more often, I can't imagine finishing a medium bowl in one sitting. 2: I finally found an excuse to go again and it was really good. I had the salmon this time, which cost £2.50 extra ! It was quite good, a touch fishy. I had the daal, chicken curry, beef rice thingy. It was all quite filling and good.”

“My partner and I rang up to book a table late on bank holiday Sunday and luckily they squeezed us in. First time visiting and it is a lovely setting a small restaurant, it doesn't have much branding on the outside but looks like they have a lot of regulars! Staff were lovely prices were very reasonable and the food was lush! Good portion sizes too! My only quarrel is that the steak cheese burger I had said it was American cheese but it was more of a sauce (see in my photo) than a cheese slice which wasn't to my taste but that is more of a preference and just something I thought I'd make people aware of. Lovely restaurant!”

The dining area is well lit, clean with refreshing white tableware, a cabin style seating area is also available. The price is reasonable. We visited on a Thursday at 6pm, come 8pm it was full. “We visited today for my birthday and oh my goodness it's was brilliant. Absolutely fantastic service from a very friendly guy (didn't get his name!) from the minute we walked in. So refreshing to have a waiter who does things so well. Cocktails were lovely and well made and the birthday card was a very nice touch. We both had three courses, and finished every last bit of it all! Really delicious. My husband particularly enjoyed the Thai sweet potato soup and I absolutely loved the rump of lamb. The flavours were so fresh and delicious. Felt like a real treat to visit somewhere so lovely. Can't wait to revisit! Thank you!”
