“I was seen by Philip Harris who was very thorough and professional through my course of treatment . I did the course doubting it would benefit me but I couldn't have been more wrong . His professionalism and caring nature enabled me to open up and spill my heavy heart which is now lightweight because all my doubts and fears have gone . “This gym is really large, well laid out and good value for money. Can't praise the staff enough they're always so helpful and nice even though I've seen them deal with some really awful customers and they always stay professional. Things break, especially when members keep leaving steam room doors open, just like in any gym but the staff are always as helpful as can be. They need a scanner system to help people check in, that would help everything move more smoothly, otherwise 10/10.”

“New patient at the clinic after moving to Derby and can’t recommend enough. I have had more help with ongoing health issues than previous medical centres, felt listened to and advised appropriately. Understandably healthcare is under pressure and limited appointments , however hasn’t stopped their reception team/doctors and nurses from providing the best service they can.”

“Send by my GP on New Years Eve, was given a 12.35 slot, got in at the given time, they are obviously busy so was impressed with their time keeping, got checked over and a prescription sorted all within 10 minutes, could not have asked for more, thank you”

“It’s not often people share positive reviews from their negative life experiences so I thought that I’d share mine in case anyone is feeling nervous like I was! My partner and I were met this week by knowledgeable doctors/nurses who were also truly kind and patient. We were kept well informed and directed efficiently by those that we saw. Their compassion for our situation was evident and they certainly said the right things and handled us with care. Special thanks to Carol W who was the extra ray of sunshine that I personally needed this week. She made me feel truly calm and cared for even down to her aftercare advice/support, which I’ll be ever grateful to her for. Thank you to a lovely team who made a really tough time a little easier.”

“UPDATE on my previous review below. I’ve just had a telephone call with Leslie the reception manager who was absolutely amazing today dealing with my issue I can’t thank her enough thank you very much. I don’t usually like to complain, but I do feel it’s important to give this feedback. A receptionist’s main role is to be polite and helpful, especially when dealing with patients who may already be stressed or unwell. I called to chase up a sick note that I had been waiting over six days for. I began the call by saying, “Good morning, I’m just chasing up a sick note. I’ve been waiting five days — is that normal, or do I need to be more patient?” The first response I received was, “Well I have no idea who I’m talking to.” I felt this came across as quite rude. A more polite approach would have been something like, “That’s okay, I’ll look into it for you — can I take your name please?” The tone of the conversation made me feel quite upset. Eventually, the receptionist did confirm that the sick note was past the normal deadline date and said she would chase it up immediately, which I appreciated. I would just ask that management remind staff how much a caring, kind, and considerate approach matters. Small things like tone and wording can make a big difference to patients.”

“Have been with this surgery for about a year and have had absolutely no issues. Receptionists are always lovely when I speak to them on the phone and really helpful. I've had one appointment I was incredible anxious about with a Nurse and she was so kind and supportive. Today I saw Dr Devagiri I believe who is the first person in many years who has taken my knee pain seriously and I feel like I've finally been listened to. Really do recommend.”

“Dr Ali is an excellent doctor. He has gone over and above his duties. He has been very attentive, responsive and caring. Dr Ali explained information and provided ample time to ask any questions. Reception staff have been helpful and friendly. The surgery has excellent staff who work really hard for their patients. Thank you for all you do.”

“I don't often leave reviews but felt I had to after the brilliant experience I had this morning. I went to the GP this morning for the first time in a very long time and I was worried that I'd struggle to get an appointment with how strained the entire GP system is at the moment. However I'm glad to say my worries were unfounded. I called at 8am and the kind receptionist booked me in at 9:40am same day which was fantastic. I saw the doctor on time and I just want to highlight how brilliant a doctor Dr Smith is. He was very friendly and empathetic and a great listener and honestly everything you could want in a GP. A true credit to the surgery. I managed to pick up my prescription and all in all, the whole process took less than half an hour. I'm happy I am a patient here!”

Very efficient, took time to put my father at ease and was very understanding. Can't fault this surgery at all. Well done.”
