“I've been put off from ordering due to negative reviews for some time but tonight thought I'd just give it a go So I'm specifically looking for freshly grilled chicken and lamb on the skewer over a flame grill. Something I used to get at TJs in Leicester many moons ago. The key elements for me is never old meat sitting in a bain Marie and the option for grilled onions and peppers. So here's what you get. The most succulent, delicious and perfectly barbecued chicken and lamb straight off the skewer. Perfectly marinated and cooked fresh. The option of grilled peppers and onions and absolutely incredibly delicious barbecued mushrooms for just only £2 extra. The naan bread was soft and delicious and perfectly crisp on the outside. Generous portion of salad and delicious. Slightly crispy but perfectly pickled peppers. Food arrived. Piping hot and can only wait at 10 out of 10. This is by far my new favourite kebab place in Derby. We will be ordering again!”

“Came her for my lads 19th from a recommendation from a friend. The food was amazing, I had the garlic chicken my fussy kid's opted for the chicken nuggets and chips. There was ten of us in total and the staff were brilliant changing the menu to suit some of the less adventurous. You can bring your alcohol which for me is a massive bonus and price wise You'll get no complaints from me. Big shout out to shed, top man.”

“We ordered big plate of different Indian dishes The Badshah Platter and we wasn't dissapointed at all. All food was tasty, especially masala chips and Malai Garlic Tikka bought me :) We had to wait around 30min to get food but we didnt feel that to be honest. Price was fair enough for 4 people. We didnt order any desserts as we were full. Definietly recommend this place, will back next time for sure.”

“Have just returned from eating dinner at Eastern Spice. The food was absolutely beautiful, staff very attentive and I think it was v reasonably priced, £26 for poppadom/ pickle tray, pint of larger and a mixed Korai (chicken, lamb, king prawn, kebab) amd pilau rice. “Been there a few times now and never been disappointed. Exquisite food that makes your tastebuds dance with joy and saliva glands flow like Niagara Falls. Personally for me it’s the Lamb Shank dish, spicy but amazing. There’s an excellent verity of dishes to choose from which are beautifully presented. The service is always accompanied with a smile. The dining area is well lit, clean with refreshing white tableware, a cabin style seating area is also available. The price is reasonable. We visited on a Thursday at 6pm, come 8pm it was full. I would suggest booking a book a table. I highly recommend without any hesitation.”

“Came here for the first time tonight after the refurb, Finn is an asset to the team, he went above and beyond. Great at delegating professionally to make things run as effectively as possible! Only thing I would say is that the chips could be made more crispier as they were on the dryer side. I do hope Finn gets the recognition he deserves for providing excellent customer service.”

“A friend and I arrived without booking and the staff were very accommodating, we had to depart by 7.30, but arriving at 6.15 gave us plenty of time. I had king prawn and chorizo penne which was really good. Followed by cheese cake accompanied by a glass of fizz. Really good food and very good service.”

“I've been a fan of Zaza's for many years now, it's my go-to place when I crave a spicy kebab. But it's only recently that I've discovered that they have a lottery wheel whenever you spend £15! My last order was just below the threshold but the lady was generous to allow me to have a go at it anyway and it turned out the most memorable trip for a kebab in my recent memory!”

The food was delicious really felt like the chefs were able to bring out the authentic flavours of Nepal. “We have used Yam Sings for 20 plus years, always have a good takeaway from here. Never eaten in the restaurant. Food is always good quality, hot & tasty. We tried another Shepshed takeaway last night, as Yam’s is closed on a Monday. It very was a poor second, won’t be moving my custom away again, I’d rather wait an extra day.”
