Even their drinks have personality. They do amazing coffee, and the fridge drink selection is exclusive. Jarritos from Mexico, the fridge popping with colour… it has that sweet shop nostalgia to it. The atmosphere? It’s bustling with good vibes and warm radiance. Proper community feel between staff and customers. My current go-to is the Bossman with slight customisation, and I’ll warn you now: it’s addictive. If you want to pack in some extra calories, I highly recommend my custom “Half-Bossman, Half-Mexican Cartel” protein box. It hits the spot every time.”

“Honestly they are always incredibly helpful! I went in to figure out the best options for dogfood for my lab and they helped me for 39 minutes and we settled on a mix of cold pressed and raw food! My favourite dog shop!”

“If you are lucky enough to catch the Little Green Van out on a nice day, I highly recommend you give it a try. The coffee is amazing. I got wild and ordered the Affogato (2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with two shots of espresso poured over top) it was HEAVEN IN A CUP. If you’re looking for a delicious coffee and a tasty treat, you can’t go wrong with this drink. Other than that, they had a lovely array of tasty looking treats, savory rolls, and pre-made paninis. The staff was a man and woman, and they couldn’t have been lovelier. This is the perfect stop if you happen to catch it on your morning stroll :)”

“We have been bringing our dogs to Jacqui at K9 Friends for over 20 years, and we could not imagine a more professional, caring, and skilled groomer. Over the years, she has looked after several of our much-loved dogs - some sadly no longer with us - and we have always had complete confidence that they were in the very best hands. Not only are her grooming skills outstanding, but she also offers home boarding, where we knew our dogs were cared for with love and kindness while we enjoyed much-needed breaks. She always puts the dogs’ needs first, treating them as if they were her own. Now, with our 16-year-old Yorkie, her patience, compassion, and expertise mean more to us than ever. We truly could not wish for a better grooming service and we are so grateful for the care and dedication she has shown our dogs throughout the years.”

“Good facility - staff seem friendly and engaged with dogs. Very polite woof van driver and owner Danielle always happy to answer any queries. They take dogs of all sizes it seems, but keep them separated by size/age/temperament. The area where the dogs are is secure and there’s loads of space for them to run around. My puppy really enjoys it. He goes straight to sleep when he’s back home! The only minus is the location if you’re not driving, as getting there by public transport is a mission. They do offer pick up van service though, but you have to book in advance and via email.”

Now our dog goes every week to daycare, has started to play with the other dogs and loves to get cuddles from the staff there. “Jo is an amazing dog walker and our dog absolutely loves her. She is so professional but mostly she loves dogs and cares for ours as if he were her own, you can’t ask for more than that. She keeps in great contact with us and we get regular updates about how our dog is doing with videos and photos. She has known our dog since he was a tiny puppy, did puppy visits when he was still small and now takes him on exhilarating joint walks with other dogs and he is getting amazing socialisation. “Visited for a few drinks while having a mini break in Edinburgh. Managed to get a window seat and looking onto Princess Street. Warm, comfortable and inviting environment. Staff were attentive and friendly. Cocktails were lush. Initially only wanted a couple of drinks but ended up ordering the three small plates from the menu, I am so glad we did! They were all yummy! The beef Wellington tacos were amazing! Will definitely return on our next visit to Edinburgh”
