“This is a great M&S food hall. It's near to my home, so I regularly go there for fancy shopping. There are a lot of car parking spaces. The shop is massive inside and it has everything fancy you need especially during the festive period. The staff are nice. The bakery is my favourite, the pastries are better than any cafe I know.”

“Okay…why do I shop chain versus independent…..I very much like Independent shops, shopping this Aldi was a good experience, first hour in Portobello neighborhood..tired after a long commute from West Kilbride….bought some berries, milk, yoghurt, salmon pieces, a heavily marbled salt aged rib eye ( yummy), salad greens and tomatoes..only spent 20.00!!!! I know some friends who live outside Edinburgh who often come here to buy supplies in bulk. As per their website, they have another branch in Glasgow. I would also suggest that they improve their website for deliveries and collections.”

“I was visiting Edinburgh for three days and stopped in to Bon Vivant on the first night after failing to find a place to eat closer to my hotel. I ended up enjoying it so much that I went back for lunch the next day and afternoon drinks the day after. The food is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is delightful, but the drinks are something really special. Their cocktail menu includes an excellent range of recipes, from old classics to more experimental modern ones, including some sublime barrel-aged tipples. All the drinks are executed by bartenders who clearly know what they're doing and are capable of making good suggestions. Bon Vivant is an essential stop for anyone who cares about high quality mixed drinks.”
